Balderas is an underground station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Cuauhtémoc borough in the center of Mexico City. It is a transfer station along Lines 1 and 3.

The Biblioteca de México José Vasconcelos is a public library in Centro, Mexico City across from the Balderas metro station. It is open to the public daily 8:30am–7:30pm.

The Ciudadela Market is a traditional style Mexican market which specializes in the sale of Mexican handcrafts and folk art, located in the southwest corner of the historic center of Mexico City. The market is the first of its kind in the country, established just before the 1968 Summer Olympics to promote this aspect of Mexico's cultural heritage. It is home to over 350 vendors, mostly small operators selling to Mexican and foreign tourists.

Escuela Libre de Derecho (ELD) is a law school in Mexico City founded in 1912. Since its establishment in 1912, the Escuela has had as its only mission the teaching of law, breeding from the principles of academic freedom, outside of any form of religiosity, or political ideology. Alumni of this school practice law in the private, as well as in the public sector, in every level of government, in the three branches of government and constitutionally autonomous organisms, and includes among its alumni two Mexican presidents, and former and current Supreme Court members.

Arena México is an indoor arena in Mexico City, Mexico, located in the Colonia Doctores neighborhood in the Cuauhtémoc borough. The arena is primarily used for professional wrestling, or lucha libre, shows promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The building is called the "cathedral of lucha libre". Arena México has a seating capacity of 16,500 when configured for professional wrestling or boxing events. The current building was completed in 1956, built by Salvador Lutteroth, owner of CMLL at the time and is the largest arena built specifically for wrestling. The building was used as the venue for the boxing competition at the 1968 Summer Olympics, and throughout the last half of the 20th century hosted several large boxing events.

The San Juan Market is a traditional Mexican market in the historic center of Mexico City that has become the city’s only such market specializing in gourmet and exotic foods. It is known for its selection of exotic meats, including venison, crocodile, wild boar and even lion meat, as well as a wide selection of products from Europe and the Americas. Unlike other such markets in Mexico City, it caters to chefs, restaurateurs and foodies, many of whom are foreigners and have long-standing relationships with particular vendors.

Masala y Maíz is a fusion restaurant in Mexico City known for blending Mexican, African and Indian cuisines. Founded by chefs Norma Listman and Saqib Keval, the restaurant defines its approach as mestizaje rebelde ("rebellious mestizaje"), acknowledging the legacies of colonialism while celebrating the diverse cultural influences behind its cuisine. The restaurant was opened in 2017 in the neighborhood of San Miguel Chapultepec, and despite bureaucratic challenges and a temporary closure during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has gained recognition for its innovative dishes. Masala y Maíz later relocated to the neighborhood of Juárez, near the city's historic center. It has received critical acclaim from local and international food critics and was awarded one Michelin star in the second Michelin Guide covering restaurants in Mexico.

Juárez is a metro station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City.

The Teatro Metropólitan is one of Mexico's best-known movie theaters. Before being the Teatro Metropólitan it was known as the Cine Metropólitan, and was built as a movie palace. The architect was Pedro Gorozpe E. with interior decorations by Aurelio G. Mendoza. The Cine Metropolitan opened on 8 September 1943 with the Argentinian film “Dieciséis años” (1943) starring María Duval and Alicia Barrié. Seating capacities were later reduced and given as 3,627 in 1955 and 3,005 in 1971.It closed as a cinema in 1985 and was renovated in 1995, re-opening on 18 December 1996 as the Teatro Metropolitan, a live show venue staging mainly rock concerts.Teatro Metropólitan is a sponsor of Mexico City’s National Jazz Festival. It was also the site for the annual Premios TV y Novelas ceremonies in the 1980s and 1990s. The theatre has a capacity for 3,165 people. The theatre is located in the centre of Mexico City, at Independencia No. 90, Col. Centro, one block south of the Alameda Central. Juárez (line number 3) and Hidalgo (line number 2) are the nearest Metro stations.

The Museo de Arte Popular (Museum of Folk Art) is a museum in Mexico City, Mexico that promotes and preserves part of the Mexican handcrafts and folk art. Located in the historic center of Mexico City in an old fire house, the museum has a collection which includes textiles, pottery, glass, piñatas, alebrijes, furniture and much more. However, the museum is best known as the sponsor of the yearly, Noche de Alebrijes (Night of the Alebrijes) parade in which the fantastical creatures are constructed on a monumental scale and then paraded from the main plaza or Zocalo to the Angel of Independence monument, competing for prizes.
