Saint Spiridon Orthodox Cathedral is a cathedral of the Orthodox Church of America in the Cascade neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States.Founded in 1895, the cathedral's multi-ethnic congregation has its roots in an Orthodox mission to Alaska in the 18th Century. The present church dates from 1941. The church's patron saint is Saint Spyridon.

The East Republican Street Stairway is an outdoor stairway in Seattle, in the U.S. state of Washington. The remaining staircase is a remnant of the Republican Hill Climb, which was completed in February 1910 to connect the Cascade and Capitol Hill neighborhoods. Much of the climb was removed during the 1960s, for the construction of Interstate 5. The remaining stairs have been designated an official city landmark.

South Lake Union (sometimes SLU) is a neighborhood in Seattle, Washington, so named because it is at the southern tip of Lake Union. The official boundaries of the City of Seattle Urban Center are Denny Way on the south, beyond which is Denny Triangle; Interstate 5 on the east, beyond which is Capitol Hill; Aurora Avenue N. The portion of South Lake Union east of Fairview Avenue N. is historically known as Cascade. Historic structures continue to stand in the Cascade neighborhood today. Its main thoroughfares are Valley and Mercer Streets (east- and westbound) and Dexter, 9th, Westlake, and Fairview Avenues N. and Eastlake Avenue E. (north- and southbound). The city addressed transportation issues by changing Mercer Street into a two-way, six-lane, tree-lined boulevard, with Valley Street becoming a two-way, pedestrian friendly road.

The Roy Vue is an apartment building in Seattle, United States. Constructed in 1924 on a design by Charles Haynes, the three-story structure is built in what has been described as a "semi-gothic" style, surrounding a large, landscaped courtyard of 5,000 square feet (460 m2). Its red brick facade is ornamented by several typically Tudor elements such as parapeted gables.In 2018 plans were announced to demolish the interior of the building and build-over the signature courtyard.

The Drinkmore Cafe is a coffee shop on Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington. Opened on April 1, 2000, as the Bit Star, it was reported by InfoWorld to be the first commercial business to offer free wireless internet Wi-Fi services. Although few had the equipment necessary to take advantage of this, free wireless internet became a major component of the small coffee shop business model across America. Owned and run by software executive and Seattle mayoral candidate Scott Kennedy, The Drinkmore was the headquarters of Seattle Wireless and was the Howard Dean meetup spot during his 2004 presidential campaign. The original location, a 1905 warehouse at the corner of Bellevue Avenue East and Thomas Street, was demolished by the property owner to make way for new condominiums.

The Harvard-Belmont Landmark District is a part of Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is notable for the architectural styles displayed by homes there: Victorian, neoclassical, neo-Georgian, and Colonial. Most were built between 1900 and 1910. The wave of construction by the Seattle wealthy began with Horace C. Henry's 1901 mansion.
