Mowry Slough

Ogilvie Island is a patch of mud in San Francisco Bay. It within the limits of the city of San Jose, in Santa Clara County, California, and named for county planner Arthur Ogilvie. Its coordinates are 37°27′55″N 122°00′37″W, and the United States Geological Survey gave its elevation as 0 ft (0 m) in 2012. It appears on a 2012 USGS map of the area.

Mowry Landing (formerly, Mawry Landing and Mowry's Landing) is a former settlement in Alameda County, California. It is located 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of central Newark on the San Francisco Bay. It lies at an elevation of 10 feet (3 m). Mowry Landing is near the western ends of Stevenson Blvd and Mowry Ave, within the current borders of Newark. It was named after Origin Mowry, a Mormon settler who moved there in 1846. It became a shipping port for produce and grain in the mid 19th century.

Coyote Creek (Spanish: Arroyo Coyote) is a river that flows through the Santa Clara Valley in Northern California. Its source is on Mount Sizer, in the mountains east of Morgan Hill. It eventually flows into Anderson Lake in Morgan Hill and then northwards through Coyote Valley to San Jose, where it empties into San Francisco Bay.

Newark Memorial High School (NMHS) is a comprehensive high school in Newark, California, United States. It is part of the Newark Unified School District (NUSD).

NewPark Mall is a 1,161,681 square feet (107,923.7 m2) super-regional mall in Newark, California. Opened in August 1980, it currently houses 119 stores. It serves the Tri-City area (Fremont, Newark and Union City). The mall underwent extensive renovations that were completed in early 2017. Among the additions are a 12-screen AMC movie complex with an IMAX screen and an elaborate new glass-walled restaurant area with views through the entire property. The Marin Farmers Markets nonprofit organization operates a farmers market on the mall property on Sunday. The mall is adjacent to the Newark campus of Ohlone College and Newark Memorial High School.

Drawbridge (formerly Saline City) is a ghost town with an abandoned railroad station located at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay, next to Station Island, now a part of the city of Fremont, California, United States. It is located on the Union Pacific Railroad 6 miles (10 km) south of downtown Fremont, at an elevation of 7 feet (2 m). Formerly used as a hunting village, it has been a ghost town since 1979 and is slowly sinking into the marshlands. It is now part of the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay Wildlife Refuge and is illegal to visit.

The Fremont Dragstrip was a racing venue for dragster automobiles that was located in Fremont, California in the San Francisco Bay Area, operating from 1959 until the end of 1988. In its final years, it was part of Baylands Raceway Park. The site lies in the quadrant just south of the intersection of Interstate 880 and Auto Mall Parkway.

Newark is a city in Alameda County, California, United States. It was incorporated as a city in September 1955. Newark is an enclave, surrounded by the city of Fremont. The three cities of Newark, Fremont, and Union City make up the Tri-City Area. Its population was 47,529 at the 2020 census making it the third largest city in the US named Newark after Newark, New Jersey, and Newark, Ohio.

John F. Kennedy High School is a public high school located in Fremont, California, in the United States. It opened in the fall of 1965 with nine buildings.

Stevens Creek is a creek in Santa Clara County, California. The creek originates in the Santa Cruz Mountains on the western flank of Black Mountain in the Monte Bello Open Space Preserve near the terminus of Page Mill Road at Skyline Boulevard. It flows southeasterly through the Stevens Creek County Park before turning northeast into Stevens Creek Reservoir. It then continues north for 12.5 miles through Cupertino, Los Altos, Sunnyvale and Mountain View before emptying into the San Francisco Bay at the Whisman Slough, near Google's main campus.

Jarvis Landing (formerly, Mayhews Landing) is a former unincorporated community, now annexed to Newark in Alameda County, California. It lies at an elevation of 10 feet (3 m).
