Central Baths, Bratislava

Central is a shopping centre (shopping mall and entertainment centre) in the Ružinov borough of Bratislava, Slovakia. It was the sixth major modern shopping centre built in Bratislava, Polus City Center being the first. It opened on 18 October 2012, and it is the eighth biggest shopping mall in Slovakia with total shopping space of 36,000 m2. Central is situated in the centre of Bratislava with many public transit routes (buses, trams) having stops nearby. It is its location that gave the shopping mall its name Central (being located in the centre of the city) and it is often considered the heart of the capital. It is easily accessible by car (highway D1 has a few exits in close proximity) or by the public transit.

Housing complex Unitas are open gallery–type apartment complex designed by architects Fridrich Weinwurm and Ignác Vécsei. Built in the beginning of the thirties by the city of Bratislava for the underprivileged. It comprises seven objects in a row estate, with austere architectural forms, so characteristic of Weinwurm's puristic work. Initially, it was planned as collective housing project, but the idea of collective kitchen and other shared space was abandoned.Each dwelling is accessible from a balcony oriented to the north - at end of each are the two-room dwellings (50 of them altogether), the oneroom being in the middle (240). Each of the houses has two staircases. The architects have formerly devised built-in furniture and light interior accessories made of steel pipes. Yet, this plan hasn't been carried out. At the time of its creation, this complex was a rare example of functionalist principles applied to a housing project in Slovakia.

The Ondrej Nepela Arena (Slovak: Zimný Štadión Ondreja Nepelu) (also known as Orange Arena during the 2011 IIHF Championship, or as Slovnaft Arena) is an indoor arena in Bratislava, Slovakia. It is primarily used for ice hockey and it is the home arena of the HC Slovan Bratislava.

NTC Arena (Slovak: Aréna NTC) formally known as AXA Aréna NTC and formerly known as Sibamac Arena and Aegon Arena for sponsorship reasons, is part of the Slovak National Tennis Centre in Bratislava, Slovakia. It has a capacity of 4,500 people. It has hosted concerts and various tennis matches, including the 2005 Davis Cup final between Slovakia and Croatia.

Nivy (literally: Floodplains) is a neighborhood of the Ružinov borough of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, located in the Bratislava II district. At the end of the 19th century, the area underwent massive industrialization becoming the first industrial part of Bratislava. In the 1950s to 1970s, the area was redeveloped into a residential suburb. At the end of the 20th century large-scale construction of office buildings started again to change the character of the neighborhood and in the 21st century, Nivy became the location of the emerging new city centre of Bratislava. It is an important transport hub featuring the Nivy Station.One of the key issues of urban development in Bratislava lies in the redevelopment of brownfield sites adjoining the old city centre which are located in the Nivy neighborhood.

Glória is a high-rise residential building in Bratislava district Ružinov, located on Záhradnícka street. The construction took 2 years and the building was finished in 2006. Glória has 29 floors and is 100 m high.

The Nová doba (New Times) Estate is a residential complex at Vajnorská Street in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was built in 1932 according to the plans of architects Fridrich Weinwurm (1885–1942) and Ignác Vécsei (1883–1944). The complex is an excellent example of the new urban, technical and economic approach being taken to solve the social housing problems. The work is connected with the socialist concept of the minimum dwelling (Karel Teige, 1932) and is also close to the ideas of functionalism.

City Business Center is a complex of five buildings in the Bratislava city district Staré mesto (Old town), first two finished in 2006 and 2007. The complex is bordered by the Karadžičova street and Dostrojevského rad street, in the area known as Central Business District where more office and business complex projects are now being developed. Originally the complex was to include four administrative (office) buildings and one residential building. The purpose of the last building, CBC V, was changed from residential to office after restarting the construction of second phase. Complex construction consists of two phases. First includes the CBC I, a 107-meter, 25-floor office tower (completed in April 2007) and CBC II, an 8-floor low rise building (completed in November 2006). Construction of the second phase was started in 2008, but after the excavation work was done the construction was put on hold until 2009, when work on the remaining three buildings resumed. CBC III, IV and V offer additional 23,200 m2 (249,700 sq ft) of leasable area for office and retail. In March 2014 HB Reavis Group sold three of the five buildings (CBC III, IV and V) to the company Tatra Asset Management, Tatra Banka subsidiary.

Tehelné pole was a neighborhood in Bratislava, Slovakia, characterized by the presence of several sports facilities. Administratively, the neighborhood belongs to Nové Mesto borough, situated around 5 km north-east of the centre. The German and Hungarian names for this locality are Ziegelfeld and Téglamező.

Tehelné pole or National football stadium (Slovak: Národný futbalový štadión) is a multi-use stadium in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was completed in 2019 and is used for football matches, including the home matches of ŠK Slovan Bratislava and the Slovakia national football team. This project concerns mutual assistance between well-known Slovak entrepreneur Ivan Kmotrík as the owner of ŠK Slovan Bratislava and the Government of Slovakia. The stadium has a capacity of 22,500 spectators, and replaced the old Tehelné pole stadium, which was demolished in summer 2013.

Nivy Station (Slovak: Stanica Nivy), also known as Nivy Centrum, Bus station Nivy (Slovak: Autobusová stanica Nivy), or simply Nivy, is a multifunctional building consisting of a bus station, a shopping center and a market on Mlynské nivy street in Nivy, Ružinov, a borough of Bratislava, Slovakia. The building is located on the site of the original Bratislava Central Bus Station, which was demolished at the end of 2017, and the tentative completion date was originally set for 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the grand opening took place on 30 September 2021. At 3:00 am, the first bus left the station. The construction was carried out by the company HB Reavis, which also constructed a new urban zone called Nové Nivy, in which the complex is located.

Bratislava Central Bus Station (Slovak: Autobusová stanica Mlynské nivy) was the main bus transport interchange in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. It served both domestic and international intercity bus service. The station building was constructed from 1975 to 1983 in the Nivy neighborhood of the Ružinov borough. It was opened on 15 August 1983 and closed for redevelopment in 2018. The author of the building design and original interior is Valéria Triznová. The station featured numerous shops, fast food kiosks and a restaurant. The bus stands were open 24/7 and the station building closed at 23:00 each night and opened at 04:00 the next day. Slovak real-estate development company HB Reavis bought the building to redevelop it as part of its Stanica Nivy project, itself part of a larger development called the Twin City. Construction started in 2018 and finished on 30 September 2021. During construction, a temporary bus terminal was established nearby on Bottova Street.After less than 4 years of construction (over 1 year lost due to Covid restriction, including months with ban on interior shopping), new modern Bratislava's Nivy bus station was inaugurated on 30 September 2021.
