Shinjuku-gyoemmae Station

The Shinjuku Gyo-en Greenhouse is a greenhouse in Shinjuku Gyo-en, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. It was built in 1950 and displays more than 1,700 tropical and subtropical plant species, as of 2016.

Tokyo Kōsei Nenkin Kaikan (東京厚生年金会館), also known as Wel City Tokyo, was a concert hall in Shinjuku, Tokyo, one of a number of public concert halls in Japan called Kōsei Nenkin Kaikan. John Coltrane's quintet performed here on their Japanese tour (1966). Dutch band Shocking Blue who were internationally famous after topping the US charts with their hit Venus, performed here in July, 1971. Parts of these concerts were used for their 'Live in Japan' - album of 1971. Journey also performed here on their Escape tour (1981). Opened on 15 April 1961, the hall closed on March 31, 2010.

Shinjuku Gyo-en (新宿御苑) is a large park and garden in Shinjuku and Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. It was originally a residence of the Naitō family in the Edo period. Afterwards, it became a garden under the management of the Imperial Household Agency of Japan. It is now a national park under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Environment.

In fact within the five blocks centering on street Naka-Dōri between the BYGS building at the Shinjuku San-chōme Station and the small Shinjuku park three blocks to the east, an estimated 300 gay bars and nightclubs provide entertainment.

Tokyo Medical University (東京医科大学, Tōkyō Ika Daigaku) is a Japanese private university located in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Established in 1916, it is one of the medical schools established in Japan before World War II. In accordance with the nation’s policy for medical education, this private university has a six-year medical school curriculum that offers 'preclinical' and 'clinical' studies to confer a bachelor's degree or graduate degree with which medical students are qualified for the national medical licensing exam. The Tokyo Korean Culture Center (駐日韓国大使館 韓国文化院, Korean: 주일본 대한민국 대사관 문화원) is a Korean Language and Cultural Exchange Center in Toshima, Tokyo, Japan. Supported by the Korean Ministry of Culture, this center offers Korean Language classes and promotes Korean culture in Japan through educational, sporting, entertainment, art, and trade events and through the promotion of tourism. The Tokyo Korea Center is one of twelve Korean Cultural Centers in nine different countries.

The Hanazono Shrine (花園神社, Hanazono Jinja) is a Shinto shrine located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. This shrine was founded in the mid-17th century. Hanazono Jinja nestled in the heart of Tokyo's Shinjuku ward, Hanazono Jinja is a small and unobtrusive structure that, according to Fodor's, just happens to be one of the most historical shrines in Japan. Constructed in the Edo period by the Hanazono family, this Inari shrine—a shrine dedicated to Inari, the androgynous god of fertility and worldly success—is a favorite place for businessmen to pray for successful ventures.

Shinjuku Golden Gai (Japanese: 新宿ゴールデン街, Hepburn: Shinjuku gōruden-gai) is a small area, which is located in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. It is composed of a network of six narrow alleys, connected by even narrower passageways which are about wide enough for a single person to pass through. Over 200 tiny shanty-style bars, clubs and eateries are squeezed into this area. The alleys are private roads, not public roads. In this area, shooting photographs and video for all purposes on the street is prohibited without permission of the area's business promotion association.

Hattori Nutrition College (服部栄養専門学校, Hattori Eiyō Senmon Gakkō) is a cooking school in Yoyogi, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Hattori Nutrition College offers certification courses and full degree programs in culinary arts and dietetics. There is a particular emphasis on healthy, “body-friendly” culinary techniques. The principal is Dr. Yukio Hattori, known for his role in the popular Japanese game show Iron Chef. Even before Iron Chef, Hattori Nutrition College was well known for its culinary arts programs. It is now a top choice for any aspiring culinarian in Japan, with an increasing world following as well. In the Japanese Iron Chef, Hattori Nutrition College students assisted the competing chefs in cooking duties. Dr. Hattori was the show's culinary commentator.
