Eagle Barnsdale

HM Prison Morton Hall is a Category C men's prison, located in the village of Morton Hall (near Lincoln) in Lincolnshire, England. The centre is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service. It was previously a women's prison and from 2011 to 2021 it was an Immigration Removal Centre.

Tunman Wood is a local nature reserve with an area of over 53 ha (130 acres) located near Eagle Barnsdale, Lincolnshire. It is an area of ancient woodland and has existed since at least 1774. It was used by the Forestry Commission from the 1940s until it was purchased by Lincolnshire County Council, North Kesteven District Council and Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust from Lafarge Aggregates in February 2009.

Royal Air Force Swinderby or more simply RAF Swinderby is a former Royal Air Force station airfield opened in 1940, one of the last of the stations completed under the RAF's expansion plans started in the 1930s. It was built near the village of Swinderby, Lincolnshire just off the south east side of the A46 (the Fosse Way) between Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire and Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. The station closed on 17 December 1993.

Whisby is a hamlet in the civil parish of Doddington and Whisby, in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated 5 miles (8.0 km) south-west from Lincoln city centre, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south from Doddington, and 2 miles (3.2 km) north from the A46 road. The name 'Whisby' means 'farm/settlement of Hvit'.Between Whisby and Thorpe on the Hill, 3 miles (5 km) to the south, is Whisby Moor, which includes a nature park run by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. Whisby also has a garden centre. In 2011 the A46 road underwent reconstruction just outside Whisby.
