Parramatta Road is the major historical east-west artery of metropolitan Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, connecting the Sydney CBD with Parramatta. It is the easternmost part of the Great Western Highway. Since the 1990s its role has been augmented by the City West Link and M4 Motorway. The road begins in the east as a continuation of George Street, which becomes Broadway west of Harris Street, and Parramatta Road west of the City Road junction, and ends at the junction with Church Street in Parramatta. Its 23 kilometres (14 mi) distance is dominated by caryards and small marginally-viable shops. At the same time, however, it has over 100 abandoned and derelict stores. Owing to this and its abrasively noisy traffic, it has rarely been considered beautiful.Opened in 1811, it is one of Sydney's oldest roads and Australia's first road between two cities (before Sydney and Parramatta coalesced). As at 2015, over three million commuters every year drove Parramatta Road. The road is the hub of Sydney's motor dealership industry - with 67% of the adjacent land used for motor retailing and services.

Concord is a suburb in the inner West of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Canada Bay. Concord West is a separate suburb, to the north-west.

Concord High School is a co-educational high school located in Concord in Sydney, Australia. The school has over 1200 students and approximately 90 teachers.

Concord Oval (also Waratah Stadium), is a rugby football stadium in the inner-west Sydney suburb of Concord, Australia. The stadium is able to hold 5,000 people as of November 2022, down from 20,000 when the Concord Oval was opened in 1985. As of 2022, it is used mostly for rugby union matches and hosted eight matches during the 1987 Rugby World Cup. It is also a venue for soccer matches and local rugby league matches. It is the home ground of West Harbour RFC in the Shute Shield rugby union competition, and was the home of Greater Sydney Rams in the defunct National Rugby Championship. It is also the training and administration base for the Wests Tigers rugby league club. The Inter Lions SC soccer club also plays some home games at the ground.

Strathfield railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Main Suburban line in the Sydney suburb of Strathfield in the Municipality of Strathfield local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The station is served by Sydney Trains T1 North Shore & Western Line, T9 Northern Line and T2 Inner West & Leppington Line suburban services as well as NSW TrainLink Intercity and regional services. The station is located on the Main Northern and Main Western railway lines, forming a major junction for regional and suburban rail services. The station and associated infrastructure was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The City of Canada Bay Museum is located in Sydney, Australia, in the suburb of Concord. The original museum was located on Wellbank St Concord and opened in 2000. The museum was officially re-opened on Saturday 16 May 2009 after moving to its new premises now located in the old Concord library at Bent Street. The museum has a collection that has been sourced from various locations with artifacts that range from 1915 to the 1970s. Included in the collection are items that showcase the history of Canada Bay and its surrounding suburbs such as Arnott's and Bushells memorabilia. It includes displays of contemporary history, and information on the local history.With the assistance from the Concord Heritage Society, the Drummoyne Historical Society and community members, the collection includes an extensive collection of toys, material from the First and Second World Wars, household items and office items, various silver and china collections, extensive sports memorabilia, local industry items such as the Victa lawn mower and one of the last brass firefighters' helmets to be made in Australia before they were officially phased out. The museum has the 128th Victa lawn mower, invented by Mervyn Victor Richards, which was based on the Mowhall mower. The museum is located at 1 Bent St, Concord Sydney, NSW 2138

The Strathfield rail underbridges are heritage-listed railway bridges located on the Main Southern and Main Western railway lines, in Strathfield in the Municipality of Strathfield local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The underbridges are also known as Strathfield rail underbridges (flyover) and Strathfield Flyover. The property is owned by RailCorp, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.The underbridges can be viewed from Cooper Street, near its intersection with Leicester Ave, Strathfield.

Westfield Burwood is a large shopping centre in the suburb of Burwood in the Inner West of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

The Burwood Sewer Vent is a heritage-listed sewer ventilation stack located at Railway Parade in the Sydney suburb of Burwood in the Municipality of Burwood local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by the Metropolitan Board of Water Supply and Sewerage in 1919. It is also known as Wentworth Road Sewer Vent and Railway Parade Sewer Vent. The property is owned by Sydney Water, a statutory corporation of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 15 November 2002.

Strathfield Plaza is a shopping centre in Strathfield located in the Inner West of Sydney, Australia and is positioned at the central hub of Strathfield located on Churchill Avenue opposite Strathfield railway station It opened in 1981 The shopping centre has a two-level car park and a nine-storey office tower. On 17 August 1991, the Strathfield Plaza became the site of a tragic mass shooting known as the Strathfield massacre. This incident resulted in the loss of eight lives, including the perpetrator, and left six others wounded.
