Concord Oval (also Waratah Stadium), is a rugby football stadium in the inner-west Sydney suburb of Concord, Australia. The stadium is able to hold 5,000 people as of November 2022, down from 20,000 when the Concord Oval was opened in 1985. As of 2022, it is used mostly for rugby union matches and hosted eight matches during the 1987 Rugby World Cup. It is also a venue for soccer matches and local rugby league matches. It is the home ground of West Harbour RFC in the Shute Shield rugby union competition, and was the home of Greater Sydney Rams in the defunct National Rugby Championship. It is also the training and administration base for the Wests Tigers rugby league club. The Inter Lions SC soccer club also plays some home games at the ground.

Concord Parish is one of the 57 parishes of Cumberland County, New South Wales, a cadastral unit for use on land titles. It is located to the south of the Parramatta River between Homebush Bay and Iron Cove; and to the north of Cooks River. It includes the suburbs of Homebush (but not Flemington), most of Strathfield, Burwood, Croydon, Concord, Canada Bay, Abbotsford and Drummoyne. It covers the local government areas of City of Canada Bay and the Municipality of Burwood and most of the Municipality of Strathfield (excluding the western part of the municipality that was incorporated in 1892). It roughly corresponds to the western half of the Inner West region, with the neighbouring Parish of Petersham making up the eastern half.

Parramatta Road is the major historical east-west artery of metropolitan Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, connecting the Sydney CBD with Parramatta. It is the easternmost part of the Great Western Highway. Since the 1990s its role has been augmented by the City West Link and M4 Motorway. The road begins in the east as a continuation of George Street, which becomes Broadway west of Harris Street, and Parramatta Road west of the City Road junction, and ends at the junction with Church Street in Parramatta. Its 23 kilometres (14 mi) distance is dominated by caryards and small marginally-viable shops. At the same time, however, it has over 100 abandoned and derelict stores. Owing to this and its abrasively noisy traffic, it has rarely been considered beautiful.Opened in 1811, it is one of Sydney's oldest roads and Australia's first road between two cities (before Sydney and Parramatta coalesced). As at 2015, over three million commuters every year drove Parramatta Road. The road is the hub of Sydney's motor dealership industry - with 67% of the adjacent land used for motor retailing and services.

The Burwood rail underbridge is a heritage-listed railway underbridge located on the Main Southern and Main Western railway lines in the Sydney suburb of Burwood, in the Municipality of Burwood local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The triple-girder underbridge spans Burwood Road. The railway bridge was built from 1892 to 1926 by John Ahern. The property is owned by Transport Asset Holding Entity, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Canada Bay is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of City of Canada Bay. Canada Bay is also a bay on Parramatta River between Concord and Five Dock. The suburb of Canada Bay sits on the southern shore and is bordered by the suburbs of Burwood, Croydon and Five Dock. The City of Canada Bay takes its name from the bay but its administrative centre is located in the suburb of Drummoyne.

The Burwood Post Office is a heritage-listed former Aboriginal land, farm and former post office and now retail building located at 168a Burwood Road in the Sydney suburb of Burwood in the Municipality of Burwood local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Walter Liberty Vernon and George Oakeshott (assistant draughtsman) and built by New South Wales Works Branch. It is also known as Burwood Post Office (former). It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 May 2001.
