Strathfield Plaza is a shopping centre in Strathfield located in the Inner West of Sydney, Australia and is positioned at the central hub of Strathfield located on Churchill Avenue opposite Strathfield railway station It opened in 1981 The shopping centre has a two-level car park and a nine-storey office tower. On 17 August 1991, the Strathfield Plaza became the site of a tragic mass shooting known as the Strathfield massacre. This incident resulted in the loss of eight lives, including the perpetrator, and left six others wounded.

It was designed by George Sydney Jones & Harry Thompson and built from 1889 to 1890 by Thomas Hanley of Balmain. It is also known as Trinity Congregational Church. The Burwood Sewer Vent is a heritage-listed sewer ventilation stack located at Railway Parade in the Sydney suburb of Burwood in the Municipality of Burwood local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by the Metropolitan Board of Water Supply and Sewerage in 1919. It is also known as Wentworth Road Sewer Vent and Railway Parade Sewer Vent. The property is owned by Sydney Water, a statutory corporation of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 15 November 2002.

Parramatta Road is the major historical east-west artery of metropolitan Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, connecting the Sydney CBD with Parramatta. It is the easternmost part of the Great Western Highway. Since the 1990s its role has been augmented by the City West Link and M4 Motorway. The cathedral was built from 1951 to 1954. The cathedral is the seat for the Russian Orthodox Diocese of Australia since 1954, currently Bishop George Schaefer.The cathedral is listed on the Strathfield Local Environmental Plan. The Royal Australian Institute of Architects has included the building on its list of Twentieth Century Significant Buildings.
