Cubbage Pond (also known as Cabbage Pond) is a reservoir on Cedar Creek in Sussex County, Delaware, United States, about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Lincoln. It is approximately 0.5 miles (0.80 km) long.Cubbage Pond Mill has stood on this site since about 1785, built originally by John and William Draper. Samuel Draper, eldest son of William Draper, inherited it around 1821 and sold it to Lemuel Shockley. John C. Davis owned the mill from 1833 to 1863, then Charles M. Miles was owner from 1866 to 1879. Subsequent owners were John Dubois (owned 1879–1881), Mark H. Davis (owned 1881–1892), Frank Davis (owned 1892–1908). It was last operated by Samuel Cubbage from 1908 to 1917. He died in 1917 and the mill was inherited by his widow Ida.The properties were passed on from Ida Cubbage to W. Edgar Waples. The property passed from W. Edgar Waples to son-in-law Theodore Jones in 1928. In 1930 the property was sold in a Sherriff's sale to Joseph and Nancy Brittingham. In 1951 the Cubbage Pond and the millwrights property were sold to Orville and Susan Wilson. The Wilsons sold the properties to Henry and Mary Cofer in 1954; upon Henry's death in 1968 the property became solely owned by Mary Cofer. Mary Cofer died in 1980 and the property was inherited by her son, Gary Cofer who is the current owner. Use of Cubbage Pond is limited to property owners bordering the pond and those given permission by the current owner. The only regulations are those set forth by the State of Delaware. Fishing from the property along the road is tolerated; but, the local residents generally don't tolerate much noise and littering and are encouraged by the current owner to report any problems they may have to the Delaware State Police and/or the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.

Egglinton Hall is a historic home located in Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. The house was constructed by Henry Egglinton circa 1790 and is noted for its Greek Revival features, particularly the two-story porch added in 1828. Reverend Truston P. McColley, a significant figure in Sussex County history, lived in the house from 1828 until 1874. McColley preached and led Methodist churches around Milford; he was also a successful businessman who helped start the peach industry in southern Delaware and organized a railroad in Milford. In addition, McColley served as president of the 1852 Delaware Constitutional Convention.Egglinton Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 7, 1983.

South Milford Historic District, or Victorian South Milford Historic District, is a national historic district located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. The district includes 68 contributing buildings. The northernmost part of the district includes part of Milford's central business district. It primarily consists of frame dwellings located on large town lots and a small number of brick commercial structures. They are in a variety of popular styles including Queen Anne and Gothic Revival. Notable buildings include the Windsor Block (1872), Milford Trust Company building, old Post Office building (1910), Adkins House (c. 1860), Causey Mansion (1763), Garrison House, and Causey House (C. 1900).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Grier House, also known as Rogers Funeral Home, is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1890, and is a two-story, five-bay, center-hall, frame dwelling in the Queen Anne style. It has hipped roof is pierced with dormers that have rounded window cornice heads. It features a projecting center bay that includes the entrance block, a Palladian window, and a two-story portico with slender, paired, fluted Ionic order columns. A porch extends a round the side and on the other side is a porte cochere. Between 1921 and 1923 the owner, Dr. Frank L. Grier, remodelled the house. The house was used as a funeral home.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Draper House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1870, and is a two-story, five-bay, center hall, frame dwelling originally built in the Victorian Gothic style. It was remodeled in the early-20th century with elements of Queen Anne and Classical Revival building traditions. It has a hipped roof with dormers, a telescoping turret, a truncated tower, a second floor projecting bay with a Palladian window, and a full three-sided porch with a shadow curve supported by Ionic order columns. From 1948 to 1953, it was owned by the Milford Hospital and used by them as housing for nurses.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Milford is a historic railroad station located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in the early 1860s, and is a one-story, five-bay, brick building with a hipped roof and extended overhangs.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 as the Milford Railroad Station. The station is no longer in use, though the track behind it is still used by a Delmarva Central Railroad freight line.An engine shed was shown at this location on an atlas dated 1859, also including a turntable. Nine years later, another atlas displayed both the engine shed and the station, and a freight station was subsequently added.A marble plaque is located there, honoring the men who inaugurated the railroad, including Governor Peter F. Causey, who served on its first Board of Directors. The railroad enabled farmers to more cheaply brings crops to market, especially peaches. The structure today looks almost the same as it did when first built in the nineteenth century. In recent years, a local business has been housed there, called Hermann Financial Services.

Federalsburg (also known as Fleatown) is an unincorporated community in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. Federalsburg was located at the intersection of Old State Road and Fleatown Road, north of Ellendale.

Dr. Dawson House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in the mid-19th century, and is a two-story, five-bay, frame building with a steep gable roof with cross gable and lancet windows in the Gothic Revival style. It has a one-story side wing and two-story rear wing. A porch covers the middle three bays on the main house. It was originally built as two separate, but neighboring, structures that were joined at an unknown date. Dr. Dawson used part of the house as an office.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Cedar Creek is a collection of developments and residences mainly surrounding Swiggetts Pond and Cubbage Pond along the Cedar Creek in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. It is part of the Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area generally referred to as Cedar Creek follows Fleatown Road from Clendaniel Pond Road to Delaware Route 1, then heads south to Slaughter Neck Road, following Slaughter Neck Road until it connects with Cubbage Pond Road, ending back at the intersection of Cubbage Pond Road and Fleatown Road. The developments include Cedar Creek Estates, Cedar Village, The Meadows on Cubbage Pond, South Shores, The Village at Anderson Crossroads, and Pine Haven Park. Cedar Creek Nature Preserve is also located here off Brick Granary Road where the Cedar Creek flows into Swiggetts Pond. The area is unincorporated into any town, with the closest towns being Milford to the north and Ellendale to the south.

Carlisle House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1794, and is a two-story, five-bay, frame building with a gable roof with dormers. It has a two-story rear wing and two side wings; one a conservatory and the other a garage. It has a pent roof across the front with a pedimented entrance hood supported by paired Doric order columns. The house was built by a ship's carpenter, David West, and is one of the last surviving artifacts from a once prosperous shipbuilding industry.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Milford Shipyard Area Historic District is a national historic district located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. The district includes 18 contributing buildings, including the original Vinyard Shipyard (now Delaware Marine & Manufacturing) and surrounding workers' houses. The shipyard buildings are the combination office and warehouse (c. 1920), mold/sail loft (c. 1900), boat house (1929), and machine shop (c. 1930). The remaining buildings are primarily one and two-story, frame, center hall plan dwellings built around 1870.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
