Dr. Dawson House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in the mid-19th century, and is a two-story, five-bay, frame building with a steep gable roof with cross gable and lancet windows in the Gothic Revival style. It has a one-story side wing and two-story rear wing. A porch covers the middle three bays on the main house. It was originally built as two separate, but neighboring, structures that were joined at an unknown date. Dr. Dawson used part of the house as an office.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The district includes 68 contributing buildings. The northernmost part of the district includes part of Milford's central business district. It primarily consists of frame dwellings located on large town lots and a small number of brick commercial structures. They are in a variety of popular styles including Queen Anne and Gothic Revival. Notable buildings include the Windsor Block (1872), Milford Trust Company building, old Post Office building (1910), Adkins House (c. 1860), Causey Mansion (1763), Garrison House, and Causey House (C. 1900).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Carlisle House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1794, and is a two-story, five-bay, frame building with a gable roof with dormers. It has a two-story rear wing and two side wings; one a conservatory and the other a garage. It has a pent roof across the front with a pedimented entrance hood supported by paired Doric order columns. The house was built by a ship's carpenter, David West, and is one of the last surviving artifacts from a once prosperous shipbuilding industry.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Bank House is a historic home located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware, United States. It was built between 1854 and 1857, and is a three-story, five-bay, brick Greek Revival-style dwelling. It measures 42 feet by 34 feet and has a two-story, L-shaped wing measuring 40 feet by 18 feet. It has a flat roof and features an entrance portico supported by classic Corinthian order fluted columns. It was designed to be the banking house for the Bank of Milford, and included bank operations and housing for the cashier of the bank and his family. The bank failed before the building was complete, then completed by a physician who completed it as his residence and medical office. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Old Fire House is a historic fire station located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. It was built in 1925 as a combination fire house for the Carlisle Fire Company and community center. It is a two-story, square brick building with a projecting two-story entrance wing and stair tower. It has a flat roof and cornice capped with pre-cast concrete blocks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Milford New Century Club is a historic women's club house in Milford, Kent County, Delaware, USA. It was built in 1885 as a schoolhouse for the Classical Academy. It is a one-story, T-shaped building with a gable roof in the Late Gothic Revival style. The New Century Club was organized in 1898, and purchased the building in 1905, after meeting at the building starting in 1898 and leasing it since 1900.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

North Milford Historic District is a national historic district located in Milford, Kent County, Delaware, United States. It encompasses 98 contributing buildings, 2 contributing sites, and 1 contributing structure in the original town as laid out in 1787. It mainly consists of residential and commercial buildings, the majority of which were built before 1860. They include examples of the Greek Revival and Federal styles. Notable buildings include the "Billy Welch House," Welch/Hart House, "Sudler Apartments" (1793), James Hall House (c. 1880), and the "Towers" (c. 1783), home of Governor William Burton (1859-1863). The Christ Church, James McColley House, Mill House, and Parson Thorne Mansion are located in the district and listed separately.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The district includes 18 contributing buildings, including the original Vinyard Shipyard (now Delaware Marine & Manufacturing) and surrounding workers' houses. The shipyard buildings are the combination office and warehouse (c. 1920), mold/sail loft (c. 1900), boat house (1929), and machine shop (c. 1930). The remaining buildings are primarily one and two-story, frame, center hall plan dwellings built around 1870.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Milford is a historic railroad station located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in the early 1860s, and is a one-story, five-bay, brick building with a hipped roof and extended overhangs.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 as the Milford Railroad Station. The station is no longer in use, though the track behind it is still used by a Delmarva Central Railroad freight line.An engine shed was shown at this location on an atlas dated 1859, also including a turntable. Nine years later, another atlas displayed both the engine shed and the station, and a freight station was subsequently added.A marble plaque is located there, honoring the men who inaugurated the railroad, including Governor Peter F. Causey, who served on its first Board of Directors. The railroad enabled farmers to more cheaply brings crops to market, especially peaches. The structure today looks almost the same as it did when first built in the nineteenth century. In recent years, a local business has been housed there, called Hermann Financial Services.

Christ Church is an historic Episcopal church and cemetery located at 3rd and Church Streets in Milford, Kent County, Delaware. The original section was started in 1791, with construction continuing until 1835. Between 1863 and 1894, the church underwent several alterations and additions. It is a brick structure in the Gothic Revival style. The adjacent cemetery has a number of notable burials including Delaware governors William Burton (1789–1866), Peter F. Causey (1801–1871), and William Tharp (1803–1865).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

It has a two-story rear wing. It features a three-bay with decorative brackets and a projecting bay.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Draper House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1870, and is a two-story, five-bay, center hall, frame dwelling originally built in the Victorian Gothic style. It was remodeled in the early-20th century with elements of Queen Anne and Classical Revival building traditions. It has a hipped roof with dormers, a telescoping turret, a truncated tower, a second floor projecting bay with a Palladian window, and a full three-sided porch with a shadow curve supported by Ionic order columns. From 1948 to 1953, it was owned by the Milford Hospital and used by them as housing for nurses.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
