Draper House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1870, and is a two-story, five-bay, center hall, frame dwelling originally built in the Victorian Gothic style. It was remodeled in the early-20th century with elements of Queen Anne and Classical Revival building traditions. It has a hipped roof with dormers, a telescoping turret, a truncated tower, a second floor projecting bay with a Palladian window, and a full three-sided porch with a shadow curve supported by Ionic order columns. From 1948 to 1953, it was owned by the Milford Hospital and used by them as housing for nurses.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Milford New Century Club is a historic women's club house in Milford, Kent County, Delaware, USA. It was built in 1885 as a schoolhouse for the Classical Academy. It is a one-story, T-shaped building with a gable roof in the Late Gothic Revival style. The New Century Club was organized in 1898, and purchased the building in 1905, after meeting at the building starting in 1898 and leasing it since 1900.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Grier House, also known as Rogers Funeral Home, is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1890, and is a two-story, five-bay, center-hall, frame dwelling in the Queen Anne style. It has hipped roof is pierced with dormers that have rounded window cornice heads. It features a projecting center bay that includes the entrance block, a Palladian window, and a two-story portico with slender, paired, fluted Ionic order columns. A porch extends a round the side and on the other side is a porte cochere. Between 1921 and 1923 the owner, Dr. Frank L. Grier, remodelled the house. The house was used as a funeral home.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Mill House is a historic home located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. The house is located across from the Parson Thorne Mansion. It is a late-18th century, two-story, three-bay, brick dwelling with a frame rear wing. It has a 2/3 Georgian side hall plan. It was owned by Delaware Governor Peter F. Causey (1801–1871) and was a rental property for the family.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

James McColley House is a historic home located at Milford in Kent County, Delaware. It is a two-story, five-bay, brick-and-frame dwelling in two sections. The brick section is the older section and dates to about 1790. It is in the full Georgian plan. Sometime during the second quarter of the 19th century, the house was changed to a Victorian Gothic Revival style. The house has a double entrance door and cross-gable roof with box cornice and decorative brackets.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Silver Lake is a privately owned brackish water pond in Milford, Delaware. It is located by the headwaters of the Mispillion River. Haven Lake is adjacent to Silver Lake. U.S. Route 113 travels between the two lakes, crossing the Mispillion River. On the river, there was a milldam established in the late 18th century, which formed Silver Lake. The mill was replaced in the 19th century.

Parson Thorne Mansion, also known as Silver Hill, is a historic mansion located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. The mansion is located across from the Mill House. It was built between 1730 and 1735, and is a two-story, five-bay, center hall brick dwelling in the Georgian style. It has flanking one-story wings and a two-story frame rear wing. The house was remodeled in 1879, and features a steeply pitched cross-gable roof with dormers. It was the home of Delaware Governor William Burton (1789–1866) and the boyhood home of statesman John M. Clayton (1796–1856).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

The district includes 68 contributing buildings. The northernmost part of the district includes part of Milford's central business district. It primarily consists of frame dwellings located on large town lots and a small number of brick commercial structures. They are in a variety of popular styles including Queen Anne and Gothic Revival. Notable buildings include the Windsor Block (1872), Milford Trust Company building, old Post Office building (1910), Adkins House (c. 1860), Causey Mansion (1763), Garrison House, and Causey House (C. 1900).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Old Fire House is a historic fire station located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. It was built in 1925 as a combination fire house for the Carlisle Fire Company and community center. It is a two-story, square brick building with a projecting two-story entrance wing and stair tower. It has a flat roof and cornice capped with pre-cast concrete blocks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

It encompasses 98 contributing buildings, 2 contributing sites, and 1 contributing structure in the original town as laid out in 1787. It mainly consists of residential and commercial buildings, the majority of which were built before 1860. They include examples of the Greek Revival and Federal styles. Notable buildings include the "Billy Welch House," Welch/Hart House, "Sudler Apartments" (1793), James Hall House (c. 1880), and the "Towers" (c. 1783), home of Governor William Burton (1859-1863). The Christ Church, James McColley House, Mill House, and Parson Thorne Mansion are located in the district and listed separately.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Christ Church is an historic Episcopal church and cemetery located at 3rd and Church Streets in Milford, Kent County, Delaware. The original section was started in 1791, with construction continuing until 1835. Between 1863 and 1894, the church underwent several alterations and additions. It is a brick structure in the Gothic Revival style. The adjacent cemetery has a number of notable burials including Delaware governors William Burton (1789–1866), Peter F. Causey (1801–1871), and William Tharp (1803–1865).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
