McClellan Butte

Mount Kent is a 5,087-foot (1,551-metre) mountain summit located in east King County of Washington state. It's part of the Cascade Range and is situated on land managed by Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Precipitation runoff on the mountain drains north into Alice Creek, a tributary of the South Fork Snoqualmie River. The nearest higher neighbor is McClellan Butte, 1.16 mi (1.87 km) to the north, and Mount Defiance is set 4 mi (6.4 km) to the northeast across the Interstate 90 corridor.

Weeks Falls is a waterfall on the south fork of the Snoqualmie River, located near North Bend, Washington, USA, just south of Interstate 90 at exit 38. The falls are at the end of the road that goes past the Olallie State Park ranger headquarters. From the gravel parking lot, there is a paved accessible overlook to see the falls and a small area around the hydro-electric plant. There is also a ¼ mile accessible interpretive trail nearby.Weeks Falls has a small hydroelectric plant operated by CHI West which generates about 4.3 Megawatts peak. It is unusual because it operates without a dam. Instead, water is being drawn from the river above the falls and run down an underground channel to the generation unit at the bottom of Weeks Falls.

Dirty Harry's Peak is a mountain in the state of Washington. It is named for Harry Gault, who once logged the mountain. It is located in the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Natural Resources Conservation Area, near the Washington State Fire Training Academy. The mountain has an elevation of 4,724 feet (1,440 m) and lies along a ridgeline including Mailbox Peak and Dirtybox Peak (the parent peak of both mountains, and a portmanteau of their names).The hike to the peak includes a popular viewpoint named Dirty Harry's Balcony, elevation 2,613 feet (796 m), with views of surrounding mountains and I-90. Further along the trail is Gault's abandoned truck, known as "Dirty Harry's Museum." The summit can be accessed either through the official trail, or a scramble along the ridgeline including Mailbox and Dirtybox.

Mailbox Peak is a 4,841-foot-elevation (1,476 m) mountain located in King County of Washington state. It is set west of the crest of the Cascade Range, on land managed by Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Mailbox Peak is situated seven miles east of North Bend, and one mile northeast above the Washington State Fire Training Academy. Precipitation runoff from the south side of the mountain drains into the South Fork Snoqualmie River, whereas the north side drains to the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie. The summit lies along a ridge containing Dirtybox Peak, its topographical parent, and Dirty Harry's Peak. Topographic relief is significant as the northwest aspect rises nearly 4,100 feet (1,200 meters) above the Middle Fork in 1.25 mile. The popular Mailbox Peak Trail gains 4,100 feet of elevation over 5.5 miles. Prior to 2014 when the new trail was completed, climbing Mailbox Peak involved 4,000 feet gain in only 2.6 miles along an unmaintained route that was used for conditioning for major climbs, and recruits from the Fire Training Academy would celebrate graduation by carrying a fire hydrant to the summit. The peak is named for a mailbox at the top which functions as the summit register, but this toponym has not been officially adopted by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names.

The Washington State Fire Training Academy is a firefighting training center near North Bend, Washington, United States. It is operated by the Washington State Patrol and includes classrooms, dormitories, and several simulation centers. The facility opened in 1984.

Mount Defiance is a 5,584-foot (1,702-metre) mountain summit located in King County of Washington state. It's part of the Cascade Range and is within the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Mount Defiance is situated 6.5 mi (10.5 km) west of Snoqualmie Pass on land managed by Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Precipitation runoff on the mountain drains into tributaries of the Snoqualmie River. The nearest higher peak is Granite Mountain, 3.96 mi (6.37 km) to the east-southeast, and Bandera Mountain is 1.85 mi (2.98 km) to the southeast. Mount Defiance can be reached by trail, with access via the Ira Spring, Talapus Lake, or Pratt Lake trailheads.

Mason Lake is a naturally occurring mountain lake located between Mount Defiance and Bandera Mountain near Snoqualmie Pass, King County, Washington. Accessible only by hike via the 3.4-mile-long (5.5 km) Mason Lake Trail (also known as "Ira Spring Memorial Trail"), splits to Mount Defiance trail while continuing past the Island Lakes towards Pratt Lake trail at Olallie Lake's north shore. Mason Lake is at an elevation of 4,200 feet (1,300 m)t.

The Rex River is a river in the U.S. state of Washington. It originates near the crest of the Cascade Mountains and flows northwest to join the Cedar River in the Chester Morse Lake reservoir. The Cedar River flows to Lake Washington and, ultimately, Puget Sound. Tributaries of the Rex River include Pine Creek, Lindsay Creek, and Boulder Creek. The Rex River is entirely contained within the Cedar River Municipal Watershed, an area managed by the City of Seattle which provides two-thirds of the water supply for the greater Seattle metropolitan region.

Mount Washington is a small mountain in the US state of Washington roughly 30 miles (48 km) east-southeast of Seattle, Washington along Interstate 90. It lies on the western margin of the Cascade Range just above the coastal plains around Puget Sound, and is southeast of nearby town of North Bend. Once known as Profile Mountain, Mount Washington was named due to a cliff resembling a profile of George Washington when viewed from an angle.The hike to the top of Mt. Washington is known for its view. Cedar Butte lies at the west end of the mountain.

Chester Morse Lake (originally Cedar Lake) is a lake in the upper region of the Cedar River watershed in the U.S. state of Washington. The original lake surface was 1,530 feet (466 m) above sea level, but when the river was dammed in 1900, the elevation was raised to 1,560 feet (475 m). Chester Morse Lake is more than four miles (6 km) long, and is primarily fed from the east by the north and south forks of the Cedar River, and from the south by the Rex River. The lake is part of the Seattle area water supply. Located in the upper watershed, Chester Morse Lake is impounded by the masonry dam and a secondary control structure called the Overflow Dike. The lake now functions as a water supply storage reservoir and powers a 30-megawatt hydroelectric facility. Chester Morse Lake was previously a natural lake called Cedar Lake. Cedar Lake was formed about 14,000 years ago by the terminal moraine of an alpine glacier descending the Cedar River valley from the upper elevations of the Cascade Mountains. Because upstream fish passage to Chester Morse Lake is naturally blocked by Cedar Falls, the fish populations in the lake are isolated from those downstream. Bull trout and pygmy whitefish populations in Chester Morse Lake have thus been separated from other populations for at least 13,000 years, and represent unique genetic stocks of these species. Both of these species spend most of their time in deeper portions of the lake. The surface of Chester Morse Lake has an average annual fluctuation of about 20 feet in elevation. Inundation of the Cedar and Rex river deltas strongly affects their aquatic and wetland habitats. Changes in lake level management toward higher lake levels in the past 15 years have resulted in a retreat upslope of sedge and willow communities on the delta. Inundation of the Cedar and Rex river channels within and upstream of the delta causes sedimentation that can negatively affect bull trout eggs. Studies are underway to examine these effects.

Little Comrade is a small summit located in King County of Washington state. It's located at the western edge of the Cascade Range on land managed by Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Little Comrade is more notable for its large, steep rise above local terrain than for its absolute elevation. The nearest higher peak is Russian Butte, 0.49 miles (0.79 km) to the north-northeast. Precipitation runoff from Little Comrade drains into tributaries of the Snoqualmie River.

Bandera Mountain is a mountain located near Snoqualmie Pass, Washington in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. The mountain is accessible by the Mason Lake Trail (Ira Springs Memorial Trail), which is located off I-90 at Exit 45 on Forest Road 9031.
