The Lycée français de Barcelone (LFB; Spanish: Liceo Francés de Barcelona, Catalan: Liceu francès de Barcelona) is a French international school in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The school was founded in 1924 and is operated by the Agency for French Education Abroad. It has classes from maternelle (preschool) to lycée (senior high school).The main campus is in Pedralbes, while the maternelle (preschool) campus is in Bonanova.

The Real Club de Tenis Barcelona - 1899 (meaning Royal Barcelona Tennis Club - 1899) is a private tennis club in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The facility has 18 clay courts, including a stadium court with a capacity of 8,400 and show court for 2,000 spectators. Since moving to its current location in the northwest of the city in 1953, the club has hosted the Open Godó tournament, a part of the ATP World Tour's 500 Series. Over the years, the club has hosted many Davis Cup ties of the Spanish team, including the Inter-Zonal final in 1965. The first name of the club was Lawn-Tennis Club Barcelona. In 2017, the centre court was named "Pista Rafa Nadal" after the tennis great Rafael Nadal.

The Sarrià Capuchins are a community of the Capuchins that settled in Barcelona in 1578 after a request of the Consell de Cent (ancient city rulers of Barcelona), and against the will of the king Philip II.

The Penya Rhin Grand Prix was a Grand Prix motor racing event staged at the three different circuits in three different eras in Spain. The race was held intermittently over its history, sometimes for full-size Grand Prix cars, sometimes for sports cars. In the 1920s, it was held at a street circuit in Vilafranca del Penedès. In the 1930s the race was revived at a parkland circuit in Montjuïc. In the 1950s after the war it was held at the Pedralbes Circuit.

The Pedralbes Circuit (Spanish: Circuito de Pedralbes) was a 6.333 km (3.935 mi) street racing course in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.First opened in 1946 in the western suburbs of the city, in the Pedralbes neighbourhood, the course featured wide streets and expansive, sweeping corners; both drivers and racing fans loved the course. The circuit hosted the Penya Rhin Grand Prix four times (1946, 1948, 1950 and 1954.). The circuit also hosted the Spanish Grand Prix in 1951 and 1954 Due to stricter safety rules following the 1955 Le Mans disaster, the Pedralbes Circuit was permanently retired as a racing venue.

Esade Law School is the law school of Ramon Llull University. It is run by ESADE. It was created in 1992 in order to train legal professionals capable of coping with the challenges posed by globalisation. The law school is situated on the Esade campus in Barcelona and has offshoots in Madrid, Buenos Aires and Casablanca. Along with some of the best European universities, the Esade Law School created the European Joint Degree in Business Law (THEMIS Programme) and is the only faculty in Spain to offer students the opportunity to obtain this degree, furthermore, it is the only Law School in Spain to have a Professional Council made up of representatives from all legal professions and over 30 internationally renowned Law firms. The law school has a high standing among law firms and scholars in Spain and its programs have been ranked 1st in Spain by the Spanish media in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

The so-called Pavellons Güell, or Güell Pavilions, is a complex of buildings in the neighborhood of Pedralbes, Barcelona, by the Catalan Modernist architect Antoni Gaudí, built between 1884 and 1887.

The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (Spanish: Centro Nacional de Supercomputación) is a public research center located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It hosts MareNostrum, a 13.7 Petaflops, Intel Xeon Platinum-based supercomputer, which also includes clusters of emerging technologies. In June 2017, it ranked 13th in the world. As of November 2021, it dropped to 74th.

MareNostrum (Catalan: [ˌmaɾəˈnɔstɾum], Spanish: [ˌmaɾeˈnostɾun]) is the main supercomputer in the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. It is the most powerful supercomputer in Spain, one of thirteen supercomputers in the Spanish Supercomputing Network and one of the seven supercomputers of the European infrastructure PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe). MareNostrum runs SUSE Linux 11 SP3. It occupies 180 m² (less than half a basketball court). The supercomputer is used in human genome research, protein research, astrophysical simulations, weather forecasting, geological or geophysical modeling, and the design of new drugs. It was booted up for the first time on 12 April 2005, and is available to the national and international scientific community.Mare Nostrum ("our sea") was the Roman name for the Mediterranean Sea. The supercomputer is housed in the deconsecrated Chapel Torre Girona at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain.

The Technical University of Catalonia (Catalan: Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, pronounced [uniβəɾsiˈtat puliˈtɛŋnikə ðə kətəˈluɲə], Spanish: Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña; UPC), currently referred to as BarcelonaTech, is the largest engineering university in Catalonia, Spain. It also offers programs in other disciplines such as mathematics and architecture. UPC's objectives are based on internationalization, as it is one of Europe's technical universities with the most international PhD students and the university with the largest share of international master's degree students. UPC is a university aiming at achieving the highest degree of engineering/technical excellence and has bilateral agreements with several top-ranked European universities.UPC is a member of the Top Industrial Managers for Europe network, which allows for student exchanges between leading European engineering schools. It is also a member of several university federations, including the Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER) and UNITECH. The university was founded in March 1971 as the Universitat Politècnica de Barcelona through the merger of engineering and architecture schools founded in the 19th century. The Museu de les Arts Decoratives, in English Decorative Arts Museum, is a museum opened on 1932 and located in the Palau Reial de Pedralbes in Barcelona. Created in 1932, this historic museum contains a rich and diverse collection of European decorative arts, from the Middle Ages to the Industrial Revolution. In 1995, the museum extended its boundaries with the incorporation of design, thus converting it into the first and only statewide museum concerned with the preservation and exhibition of Spanish industrial design. The collections of the Museu de les Arts Decoratives were created from an important resource of industrial design and decorative art objects, that included salvers, carriages, furniture, wallpaper, clocks, tapestries and glasswork. Together with Museu Tèxtil i d'Indumentària and the Gabinet de les Arts Gràfiques is part of the Disseny Hub Barcelona.

The Palau Reial de Pedralbes (Catalan pronunciation: [pəˈlaw rəˈjal də pəˈðɾalβəs]; English: "Pedralbes Royal Palace"; Spanish: "Palacio Real de Pedralbes") is a building placed in the middle of an ample garden in the district of Les Corts, in Barcelona. From 1919 until 1931 it was the residence for the Spanish Royal Family when they visited the city. It houses the Museu de la Ceramica (ceramic museum), Museu Tèxtil i d'Indumentària and Museu de les Arts Decoratives (interior design museum), both part of the Disseny Hub Barcelona and is the permanent seat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM).
