Angarrick (Cornish: An Garrek, meaning The Rock) is a hamlet in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated three miles (5 km) north of Falmouth in the civil parish of Mylor. The hamlet is a mile north of Mylor Bridge on the hills above Restronguet Creek.

Devoran (Cornish: Deveryon) is a village in south Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of Truro at grid reference SW 793 392. Formerly an ecclesiastical parish, Devoran is now in the civil parish of Feock (where the 2011 census population is included). The village is on the northeast bank of the Carnon River at its confluence with Restronguet Creek, a tidal creek which flows into Carrick Roads above Falmouth. Devoran is at the Normal Tidal Limit (NTL) of the creek but until the 20th-century the tidal limit stretched much further up the valley than now.The name Devoran comes from the Cornish language Deveryon, meaning 'waters'.

St Piran's Church is an active Anglican parish church in Perranarworthal, Cornwall, England. It is part of a united benefice consisting of eight churches, the Eight Saints Cluster, in the parishes of Stithians with Perran-Ar-Worthal and Gwennap. The benefice has four licensed clergy and four readers. The church, dedicated to Saint Piran, is in the Carnmarth, North deanery, the archdeaconry of Cornwall and the Diocese of Truro. The church was granted Grade II* listed status in May 1967. The churchyard contains several listed chest tombs and headstones.

The Carnon River (Cornish: Avon Carnon) is a heavily polluted river in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It starts in Chacewater. Both Trewedna Water and River Kennall flow into the Carnon before it merges with Tallack's Creek to become Restronguet Creek, which eventually flows into the English Channel at the mouth of Carrick Roads.The Nebra sky disc, a gold-decorated bronze disc found in Germany and dated to the Bronze Age, contains both gold and tin from the Carnon valley. There was also an antler pick discovered, along with some other artefacts in 1790. In 2016, the pick was dated to be from the Early Bronze Age.In 1992, the river was hit by a major pollution incident, when over 45 million litres of contaminated water from the closed Wheal Jane mine was released by the collapse of an adit, colouring the river water red. A treatment works has since been installed at Wheal Jane to intercept the contaminated water and treat it to remove suspended metals and restore a neutral pH.

Perranarworthal (Cornish: Peran ar Wodhel) is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is about four miles (6.5 km) northwest of Falmouth and five miles (8 km) southwest of Truro. The parish population at the 2011 census was 1,496.Perran Wharf is the area of the parish beside the River Kennall (a tributary of Restronguet Creek) where there were wharves and a quay. This has been developed into Perran Foundry where there are new homes and working space settled amidst the history of the site. The other settlements in the parish are Perranwell and Perranwell Station. Perranwell railway station is on the Maritime Line. Perranarworthal parish is bordered on the north by Kea parish, on the east by Restronguet Creek and Mylor parish, on the south by St Gluvias and Stithians parishes and on the west by Gwennap parish.

Perranwell station (Cornish: Fentenberan) is on the Maritime Line between Truro and Falmouth Docks in south-west England. The station is managed by, and the services are operated by, Great Western Railway.

Carnon Mine was a tin mine at Restronguet Creek, near the village of Devoran in Cornwall, England. A ruined engine house survives on the north bank of the creek. It is a Grade II listed building.

The Carnon viaduct carries a railway line from Truro to Falmouth – now branded the Maritime Line – over the valley of the Carnon River in west Cornwall, United Kingdom. The viaduct is situated half-a-mile (800 metres) northeast of Perranwell station which is five miles (8 km) from the line's terminus at Falmouth and three miles (5 km) from its junction with the Cornish main line at Truro.The present nine-arch masonry viaduct replaced an earlier 19th-century structure designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel for the Cornwall Railway. The original viaduct was opened to traffic when the line was extended from Truro to Falmouth in 1863 and had a timber deck supported by timber trestles springing from eleven masonry piers. It was 756 feet (230 m) long and 96 feet (29 m) high.The present viaduct is of roughly the same dimensions as the original. It was built by A E Farr CIvil Engineers of Westbury for the Great Western Railway as an entirely new structure immediately south of its predecessor and it cost £40,000. It has nine arches and opened to traffic in June 1933. The timberwork of the original structure was dismantled and removed but its masonry piers still stand beside the replacement viaduct. Construction of the original structure posed specific problems not encountered at the sites of other viaducts in Cornwall. The tidal limit of Restronguet Creek extended further up the Carnon River valley than it does today and at the site of the viaduct the valley floor then consisted of intertidal mudflats and a great quantity of silt washed down from the numerous mines upstream. This soft layer was over 20 feet (6.1 m) thick and "...not an ideal foundation for a 96ft high viaduct."After exploratory drillings, the engineering contractors sunk cast iron caissons through the silt to the bedrock at each pier location. The cylindrical caissons, 16 feet (4.9 m) in diameter, were then emptied of silt so that masonry footings could be built from the rock up to surface level, pumps being employed to keep the workings dry. This added to the cost of construction but proved entirely satisfactory as Carnon was among the last of the original Cornwall railway viaducts to be replaced.

It is about three miles southwest of Truro on the A39 Truro to Falmouth road.Carnon Downs is in the civil parish of Feock (the population at the 2011 census included here) and consists mostly of bungalows and detached housing built in the latter half of the 20th century.

Mylor Bridge (Cornish: Ponsnowyth) is a village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is in Mylor civil parish at the head of Mylor Creek, about five miles north of Falmouth.Found in Mylor Bridge are a Post Office/Newsagents, grocery store, fishmonger, hairdressers, butcher's shop and a public house called the Lemon Arms. The village also has a primary school. The parish church of Saint Mylor is in the nearby village of Mylor Churchtown.Mylor Bridge lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
