Heinenoord is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland on the island Hoekse Waard. It is located about 10 km south of Rotterdam, in the municipality of Hoeksche Waard.Heinenoord was a separate municipality until 1984, when it became part of Binnenmaas. Since 1 January 2019, it is part of the new municipality Hoeksche Waard. After 1855, the municipality also covered the village of Goidschalxoord.The Heinenoordtunnel is a road tunnel located near Heinenoord and is named after it. There is also a bus station near Heinenoord called the Busstation Heinenoord which serves as a public transport hub in the Hoekse Waard.

Slinge is an above-ground subway station in the south of the city of Rotterdam. It is part of Rotterdam Metro lines D and E. Slinge is the southern terminus of line E, while line D trains continue towards De Akkers station. The station opened on 25 November 1970 as part of a one-station extension of the North-South Line (also formerly called Erasmus line). It has two platforms and three running tracks; the inner track is only used by trains terminating at Slinge, while the other trains use the outer two tracks.

Goidschalxoord (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɣoːtsxɑl(ə)ksoːrt]) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located about 5 km east of Oud-Beijerland, in the municipality of Hoeksche Waard.

IJsselmonde is a river island in the Netherlands, between the Nieuwe Maas, Noord and Oude Maas branches rivers of the Rhine-Meuse delta in the province of South Holland. The city of Rotterdam now occupies most of the northern part of the island and includes the eponymous former village of IJsselmonde, once a separate community. The island was once a rich agricultural region, but is mostly suburbs today. Only the mid-south parts of the island have retained their agricultural character.

Blaaksedijk is a hamlet on a dike in the Dutch province of South Holland. The village lies in the municipality of Hoeksche Waard (formerly Binnenmaas). Blaaksedijk lies between Puttershoek, Mijnsheerenland and Heinenoord. Blaaksedijk is considered part of Mijnsheerenland. It has place name signs, and consists of about 350 houses.At the nearby industrial area Boonsweg the "Nettorama" is located, one of the largest supermarkets of the Hoekse Waard, formerly known as the "Witte Boerderij" (White Farm). The "Witte Markt" (White Market) is also located there, a flea market which continues to attract a large number of visitors every Saturday.

Rotterdam Ahoy (formerly known as Ahoy Rotterdam or simply as Ahoy) is a convention centre and multi-purpose indoor arena located in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Opened originally in 1950, the current complex consists of three main venues: a fairs and event hall, a congress and conference centre, and the Ahoy Arena. The latter (informally known as the Sportpaleis, lit. 'Sport Palace') opened on 15 January 1971 and is the largest venue, with a capacity of 16,426 as of April 2019.

Reedijk is not a statistical entity, and considered part of Heinenoord and Mijnsheerenland. It has place name signs, and consists of about 40 houses.

Zuidwijk is a former municipality in the Dutch province of South Holland. It was located southeast of the center of Boskoop. Zuidwijk was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1846, when it became part of Boskoop.Since 2014 Boskoop has been a part of Alphen aan den Rijn.

West-Barendrecht is a former municipality in the Dutch province of South Holland. It covered the western part of the current municipality of Barendrecht, including the village of Carnisse. The municipality existed between 1817 and 1837, when it merged with Oost-Barendrecht to form the new municipality "Oost- en West-Barendrecht", now just called "Barendrecht".
