Luther Burbank High School (LBHS) is a high school in Sacramento, California, United States. It is a part of the Sacramento City Unified School District.As of 2002 the school offers a Hmong language class for native speakers of Hmong.

47th Avenue station is an at-grade light rail station on the Blue Line of the Sacramento RT Light Rail system operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. The station is located in an exclusive right-of-way alongside the Union Pacific Railroad's Sacramento Subdivision at its intersection with 47th Avenue, after which the station is named, in the city of Sacramento, California. The station is located on the northwest side of 47th Avenue, and serves the Campbell Soup Company manufacturing facility, surrounding industrial areas, and the 47th Avenue, Hogan, and 24th Street neighborhoods.

Meadowview station is a side platformed Sacramento RT light rail station in Sacramento, California, United States. The station was opened on September 26, 2003, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It is served by the Blue Line and was its southern terminus until 2015. With a daily average of 5,400 riders, the Meadowview station is the second busiest in the RT light rail system behind 16th Street station.

In the late evening of March 18, 2018, Stephon Clark, a 22-year-old African-American man, was shot and killed in Meadowview, Sacramento, California by Terrence Mercadal and Jared Robinet, two officers of the Sacramento Police Department in the backyard of his grandmother's house while he had a phone in his hand. The encounter was filmed by police video cameras and by a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department helicopter which was involved in observing Clark on the ground and in directing ground officers to the point at which the shooting took place. The officers stated that they shot Clark, firing 20 rounds, believing that he had pointed a gun at them. Police found only a cell phone on him. While the Sacramento County Coroner's autopsy report concluded that Clark was shot seven times, including three shots to the right side of the back, the pathologist hired by the Clark family stated that Clark was shot eight times, including six times in the back. The shooting caused large protests in Sacramento, and Clark's family members have rejected the initial police description of the events leading to Clark's death. The Sacramento Police Department placed the officers on paid administrative leave and opened a use of force investigation. Police have stated they are confident that Clark was the suspect responsible for breaking windows in the area prior to the encounter. On March 2, 2019, the Sacramento County district attorney announced that the Sacramento police officers who killed Clark would not be charged and that they had probable cause to stop Clark and were legally justified in the use of deadly force.

Prior to the 2010 United States census, Parkway was grouped with Fruitridge Pocket and Lemon Hill in the Parkway-South Sacramento, California CDP.

Parkway–South Sacramento is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Sacramento County, California, United States. It is part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area shares three boundaries with the City of Sacramento. The population was 36,468 at the 2000 census. The CDP was abolished before the 2010 census. For that census, the area was divided into the CDPs of Fruitridge Pocket, Lemon Hill and Parkway.

The 2010 United States census reported Lemon Hill's population was 13,729. Prior to the 2010 United States census, Lemon Hill was grouped with Parkway and Fruitridge Pocket in the Parkway-South Sacramento, California CDP.

The station is located in an exclusive right-of-way alongside the Union Pacific Railroad's Sacramento Subdivision at its intersection with Fruitridge Road, after which the station is named, in the city of Sacramento, California. The station serves the commercial areas along Fruitridge Road and the residential neighborhoods of Hollywood Park and South City Farms.

Masjid Annur Islam Center in Sacramento, California is the largest mosque in the greater Sacramento area of Northern California.The Masjid Annur Islam Center offers classes on the Arabic language, the Qur'an, Tajweed and holds events regularly throughout the year. Masjid Annur is also home to one of the only Islamic high schools in Northern California. It is also home to the Annur annual Islamic conference which brings Imams and Islamic scholars from all over the world for the 3 day event.

Morrison Creek station is a Sacramento RT light rail in Sacramento, California. The station platform was built as part of extension of the Blue Line to Cosumnes River College that opened in August 2015, but Morrison Creek station did not open at that time. The station was planned in anticipation of the construction of transit-oriented development next to the site, and includes a 75-space park and ride lot and a bus transfer area, but currently the area is undeveloped and the station site is not connected to any nearby roads. The station remained untouched until 2021, when SacRT was faced a deadline to use federal funding allocated to the project. The agency added missing amenities to the station including shelters and benches, and made it into a "walk-on" station, meaning it is only accessible by bicycle and pedestrian paths.Because of expected low patronage, the station is a "request stop" with riders needing to press a button on the platform to signal trains to stop.

The Home of Peace Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery founded in 1924, and located at 6200 Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento, California. This cemetery contains some of the earliest Jewish gravestones in the western United States, moved from Chevra Kaddisha Cemetery.
