L'Appart is a Michelin-starred restaurant in New York City. It is located in the Le District food court at Brookfield Place, within 225 Liberty Street. Nicolas Abello is the executive chef.

Brookfield Place (previously named and still commonly referred to as the World Financial Center) is a shopping center and office building complex in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is located in the Battery Park City neighborhood, across West Street from the World Trade Center, and overlooks the Hudson River. The complex is currently owned and managed by Brookfield Properties, a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management.

225 Liberty Street, formerly Two World Financial Center, is a skyscraper in New York City, located at 225 Liberty Street in the Financial District of the New York City borough of Manhattan. Rising 645 feet (197 m), the building is the second tallest of the four buildings in the Brookfield Place complex that stands in southwest Manhattan, and the 97th tallest in the city. It is similar in design to 200 Vesey Street, except that its roof is dome-shaped rather than 3 WFC's solid pyramid design. It is notably similar in design to One Canada Square in London's Canary Wharf development. Canary Wharf was, like the World Financial Center, a project by Canadian developers Olympia and York, and One Canada Square was designed by the same architects. The building is home to Meredith, BNY Mellon, Hudson's Bay Company, Commerzbank, Fiserv, Oppenheimer Funds, Inc., State Street Corporation, McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP, Thacher Proffitt & Wood, LLP, and several divisions of France Telecom, among other companies. It is an example of postmodern architecture, as designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates, and contains over 2,491,000 square feet (231,400 m2) of rentable office area. It connects to the rest of the World Financial Center complex through a courtyard leading to the Winter Garden, a dramatic glass-and-steel public space with a 120-foot vaulted ceiling under which there is an assortment of trees and plants, including sixteen 12-meter palm trees from the Mojave Desert.Though the building has a nominal address on Liberty Street, its most prominent facade is on West Street between Liberty and Vesey Streets. The building was renamed from Two World Financial Center when the rest of the complex was renamed Brookfield Place in 2014.225 Liberty Street and its neighbors had been severely damaged by the falling debris when the World Trade Center towers collapsed due to the September 11 attacks. The building had to be closed for repairs from September 11, 2001 until May 2002 as a result of damage sustained in the terrorist attacks.On April 12, 2012, a "suspicious package" was delivered to the building, prompting an evacuation. The New York City Police Department (NYPD)'s Emergency Services Unit determined the packages to be harmless.

Battery Park City is a mainly residential 92-acre (37 ha) planned community and neighborhood on the west side of the southern tip of the island of Manhattan in New York City. It is bounded by the Hudson River on the west, the Hudson River shoreline on the north and south, and the West Side Highway on the east. The neighborhood is named for The Battery, formerly known as Battery Park, located directly to the south. More than one-third of the development is parkland. The land upon which it is built was created by land reclamation on the Hudson River using over 3 million cubic yards (2.3×10^6 m3) of soil and rock excavated during the construction of the World Trade Center, the New York City Water Tunnel, and certain other construction projects, as well as from sand dredged from New York Harbor off Staten Island. The neighborhood includes Brookfield Place (formerly the World Financial Center), along with numerous buildings designed for housing, commercial, and retail. Battery Park City is part of Manhattan Community District 1. It is patrolled by the 1st Precinct of the New York City Police Department.

The North Cove Marina is a municipal inland harbor in Manhattan, New York. The marina is primarily for 80 to 150-foot mega-yachts.

200 Vesey Street, formerly known as Three World Financial Center and also known as American Express Tower, is a skyscraper in Lower Manhattan, New York City. Located on West Street between Liberty Street and Vesey Street, the 739-foot (225 m) building is the tallest in the Brookfield Place complex (formerly known as the World Financial Center). It is similar in design to 225 Liberty Street (formerly Two World Financial Center), except that it is capped by a solid pyramid whereas 225 Liberty is capped by a dome.

St. Joseph's Chapel was a mission parish of St. Peter's Church, the oldest Catholic parish in New York State. Established in 1983, it was located at 385 South End Avenue in the Gateway Apartments complex, in Battery Park City, Manhattan, New York City. The chapel closed in January 2018, after being unable to afford a lease renewal at the site.

Cortlandt Street Ferry Depot was the main ferry terminal of the Pennsylvania Railroad and the West Shore Railroad on the North River (Hudson River) in lower Manhattan. The railroads operated ferries to their terminal stations on the Hudson River waterfront in New Jersey at Exchange Place and Weehawken, respectively. The depot was next to Liberty Street Ferry Terminal from which the Central Railroad of New Jersey operated its Communipaw ferry to Communipaw Terminal.

250 Vesey Street, formerly Four World Financial Center, is a part of the Brookfield Place complex in Lower Manhattan, which houses the financial offices of Merrill Lynch and Jane Street Capital. Rising 34 floors and 500 feet (150 m), and situated between the Hudson River and the World Trade Center site, Four World Financial Center is located in the heart of the Financial District. After the September 11, 2001 attacks, the building sustained major damage to its roof; however, the general damage to the building was less than that to the other three towers. On October 23, 2001, about two dozen senior executives of Merrill Lynch began returning to their offices on a limited number of floors within the building, making it the first tower in the four-tower complex to be reoccupied after the attacks.The structure was renamed 250 Vesey Street when the complex became Brookfield Place in 2014. Other tenants include the headquarters of the College Board and Jane Street Capital.

Liberty Street Ferry Terminal or Liberty Street Terminal was the Central Railroad of New Jersey's passenger ferry slip in lower Manhattan, New York City and the point of departure and embarkation for passengers travelling on the Central Railroad of New Jersey, Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, Reading Railroad and the Lehigh Valley Railroad from the Communipaw Terminal across the Hudson River in Jersey City.

The Shearwater is an 81.5-foot (24.8 m) wooden schooner docked in Lower Manhattan in New York City in the U.S. state of New York. The schooner was designed by Theodore Donald Wells and built by the Rice Brothers Corporation in East Boothbay, Maine in 1929. During World War II, it was requisitioned into the United States Coast Guard to patrol for German U-boats. The Shearwater completed a circumnavigation of the world in the early-1980s and later worked as a research laboratory for the University of Pennsylvania's Institute of Environmental Medicine. Docked about 200 yards (180 m) west of the site of the World Trade Center, it is operated by Manhattan by Sail, which gives 90-minute-long tours of New York Harbor, and is licensed to carry 48 passengers. The schooner was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Liberty Park is a one-acre (4,000 m2) elevated public park at the World Trade Center in Manhattan, New York City, overlooking the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in Lower Manhattan. The park, which opened on June 29, 2016, is located above the World Trade Center's Vehicular Security Center. The St. Nicholas National Shrine is located within the park, as well as Fritz Koenig's The Sphere, the iconic sculpture salvaged from the World Trade Center site. Another statue, America's Response Monument, is also located in the park.
