Čičmany

The Strážov Mountains (Slovak: Strážovské vrchy, pronounced [ˈstraːʐɔwske ˈʋr̩xi]) are a mountain range in northwestern Slovakia, being part of Inner Western Carpathians, and of the Fatra-Tatra Area. They are situated between the towns of Trenčín, Považská Bystrica, Rajec, Prievidza and Bánovce nad Bebravou, bordering White Carpathians and the Váh river in the northwest and west, Javorníky in the north, Malá Fatra in the east, Vtáčnik and Nitra river in the south and Považský Inovec in the southwest. The highest mountain is Strážov (1,213 m AMSL) The Strážov Mountains and Súľov Mountains are protected by the Strážov Mountains Protected Landscape Area since 1989. The Súľov Rocks in the northwest have been designated as a nature reserve. Many thermal springs can be found here, inspiring the establishment of many spa centres in the region, for example Trenčianske Teplice or Rajecké Teplice.

Gapel (in German: Gabel) is a small village in Slovakia which was founded in the 18th century. Since 1960 it has been a part of Valaska Bela district. Before this, it was a part of Zliechov district. In the past, Gapel was famous for its glass industry. However, in the 1950s the glass industry was moved to Valaska Bela. It is because of this fact that these days the village is a favourite for cottagers who spend weekends and holidays there.

Strážov Mountains Protected Landscape Area (Slovak: Chránená krajinná oblasť Strážovské vrchy) is one of the 14 protected landscape areas in Slovakia. The Landscape Area is situated in the Strážov Mountains and the Súľov Mountains, part of the Western Carpathians, in western Slovakia. It is situated in the Bytča, Ilava, Považská Bystrica, Prievidza, Púchov, and Žilina districts. The area protects 293.66 km2 (113.38 sq mi), of which 78% are covered with forests, 19% with farmland and 3% with built-up and water areas. The highest point is Strážov Mountain at 1,213 m (3,980 ft).

Čelkova Lehota (Hungarian: Cselkószabadja) is a village and municipality in Považská Bystrica District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia. The village lies in a beautiful natural environment near Strážovské vrchy mountain range at the end of Domaniža valley.

Sádočné (Hungarian: Sádecsne) is a village and municipality in Považská Bystrica District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia.

The Martin University Hospital (Slovak: Univerzitná nemocnica Martin, abbreviated to UNM) is a Slovak public university hospital located in the Martin municipality, in the county of Zilina, north-east of the Slovak capital Bratislava. It is a teaching hospital and it is the main university hospital affiliated with the Jessenius School of Medicine. The hospital has over 1,700 employees. Martin University Hospital has 900 beds in total including all sectors. The current director of the hospital is Dr. Dušan Krkoška, M.D., PhD., MBA.
