Four Embarcadero Center

Vaillancourt Fountain, sometimes called Quebec libre!, is a large fountain in Embarcadero Plaza in San Francisco, designed by the Québécois artist Armand Vaillancourt in 1971. It is about 40 feet (12 m) high and is constructed out of precast concrete square tubes. Long considered controversial because of its stark, modernist appearance, there have been several unsuccessful proposals to demolish the fountain over the years. It was the site of a free concert by U2 in 1987, when lead singer Bono spray painted graffiti on the fountain and was both praised and criticized for the action.

La Chiffonnière ("Rag Woman") is a stainless steel sculpture by French artist Jean Dubuffet, installed in Justin Herman Plaza, in San Francisco's Financial District, in the U.S. state of California. The 22-foot (6.7 m) tall, 4,500 pound artwork was conceived in 1972 and completed in 1978. It was displayed in Manhattan's Doris C. Freedman Plaza from March 20 to December 12, 1979.

Three Embarcadero Center is an office skyscraper located in San Francisco's Financial District. The building is part of the Embarcadero Center, which is a complex of six interconnected buildings and one off-site extension. The skyscraper, completed in 1977, stands 126 m (413 ft) with 31 stories. Three Embarcadero Center stands at the same height as Two Embarcadero Center, although this building has one more floor.

Embarcadero Plaza, previously known as Justin Herman Plaza from its opening in 1972 until 2017, is a 1.23-acre (0.50 ha) plaza near the intersection of Market and Embarcadero in San Francisco's Financial District, in the U.S. state of California. It is owned by Boston Properties, who acquired the neighboring Embarcadero Center office, hotel, and retail complex in 1998.

The Southern Pacific Building is one of three office buildings comprising One Market Plaza along the Embarcadero in San Francisco, California. The historic 11-story, 65-metre (213 ft) building, also known as "The Landmark", was started in 1916 and completed in 1917.

Embarcadero Center is a commercial complex of four office towers, two hotels, a shopping center with more than 125 stores, bars, and restaurants, and a fitness center on three levels located in San Francisco, California. There is an outdoor ice skating rink during winter months. Embarcadero Center sits on a 9.8-acre (4.0 ha) site largely bounded by Clay Street (to the north), Sacramento Street (to the south), Battery Street (to the west), and the Embarcadero (to the east), in the financial district of San Francisco.Developed by Trammell Crow, David Rockefeller and John Portman, construction began with Tower One in 1971, with the last off-complex extension, Embarcadero West, completed in 1989. The two extension buildings are west of Battery. Boston Properties sold the Embarcadero West building to Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA-CREF) in December 2005 for more than US$205 million.The 4.8 million square feet (445,900 m2) complex accommodates offices for 14,000 people along with mixed-use areas accommodating retail, dining, entertainment and cinema functions. The cinema’s operator closed its doors permanently in February 2022.

50 California Street (also known as the Union Bank Building) is a 148 m (486 ft), 37-story office tower completed in 1972 at the foot of California Street in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. There is a plaza located at the base of the building. The building is owned and managed by affiliates of Shorenstein Properties.

Hubba Hideout was one of the most famous skateboarding spots. It was located in San Francisco near the Justin Herman Plaza on The Embarcadero. Its central features were two oversized sets of 6 stairs with large concrete ledges on both sides. The spot is part of a pedestrian walkway but was more commonly used by the local skateboarders and vagrants. The city of San Francisco made numerous attempts over the years to ward off skateboarders from the spot, and in January 2011 city workers completely demolished its ledges and stairs.

Sue Bierman Park, also known as Ferry Park, is a park in San Francisco, California in the Financial District. Sue Bierman Park replaced off-ramps just north of the Embarcadero Center, and next to the park Ferry Plaza was constructed in front of the San Francisco Ferry Building, which itself was remodeled into an upscale gourmet marketplace in 2003. The park is named after Sue Bierman, a San Francisco civic activist and Supervisor.

The Embarcadero and Washington station is a light rail station in San Francisco, California, serving the San Francisco Municipal Railway's E Embarcadero and F Market & Wharves heritage railway lines. It is located on The Embarcadero at Washington Street. The station opened on March 4, 2000, with the streetcar's extension to Fisherman's Wharf.The stop is served by the L Owl bus route, which provides service along the F Market & Wharves and L Taraval lines during the late night hours when trains do not operate.
