Dongzhimen

Dongzhimen station (simplified Chinese: 东直门站; traditional Chinese: 東直門站; pinyin: Dōngzhímén zhàn) is an interchange station for Line 2, Line 13 and the Capital Airport Express of the Beijing Subway. Dongzhimen is the eastern terminus for Line 13 service. It is also the only underground station on Line 13. There are two side platforms in the Line 13 station. One is for customers to disembark and the other is for customers to get on the train. Stairs and escalators lead to the transfers to Line 2 and the Capital Airport Express.

BN Vocational School is a private, tuition-free vocational school in Beijing, China. The school was established in September 2005. It was founded by Yao Li. BN Vocational is the first tuition-free, not-for-profit, vocational secondary school in China.

Beixinqiao Subdistrict (Chinese: 北新桥街道; pinyin: běixīnqiáo jiēdào) is a subdistrict in the northern part of Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. The Yonghe Temple is located here. The subdistrict consists of 10 communities. By 2020 it has a total population of 55,449. Beijing Subway Line 5 runs through the subdistrict. This area of land was called "Xingqiao" (Chinese: 兴桥; lit. 'Prosperous Bridge') During the Yuan dynasty, and was changed to "Beixinqiao" (Chinese: 北新桥; lit. 'New Northern Bridge') in the Qing dynasty. There was a legend about Chinese monk Yao Guangxiao having locked up a Dragon King inside a well.

Dongsi Shitiao station (simplified Chinese: 东四十条站; traditional Chinese: 東四十條站; pinyin: Dōngsì Shítiáo zhàn), is a station on Line 2 of the Beijing Subway.

Zuojiazhuang station (Chinese: 左家庄站; pinyin: Zuǒjiāzhuāng Zhàn) is a station on the Line 17 of Beijing Subway. It opened on 30 December 2023.

Dongzhimen Subdistrict (Chinese: 东直门街道; pinyin: dōngzhímén jiēdào) is a district on the northeastern side of Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. As of 2020, the subdistrict's total population is 46,712.The subdistrict got its current name from Dongzhimen (Chinese: 东直门; lit. 'East Straight Gate'), a gate of the Beijing city wall that used to exist in this area.

Linked Hybrid (Chinese: 北京当代MOMA) is a building complex built in Beijing, China designed by Steven Holl Architects. It is recognized for its environmental design and uses geo-thermal wells for cooling and heating. Linked Hybrid has won several awards such as the Best Tall Building Overall Award by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat in 2009. Located near the old city wall, it was designed as a pedestrian-oriented combination of public and private space that encourages the use of shared resources and reduces the need for wasteful modes of transit.

Tongjiao Temple (Chinese: 通教寺; pinyin: Tōngjiào Sì) is a Buddhist temple located in Dongcheng District of Beijing. It covers an area of 700-square-metre (7,500 sq ft). Now it is the only Bhikkhuni temple in Beijing. It was inscribed to the National Key Buddhist Temples in Han Chinese Area's list in 1983.

Guo Li Zhuang (Chinese: 鍋裏壯店; pinyin: Guō Li Zhuàng Diàn; lit. 'the strength inside the pot') is a restaurant brand that specializes in dishes prepared from the genitals (penises and testicles) of male animals from a wide variety of species such as horses, oxen, donkeys, dogs, deer, goats, sheep, and snakes. The first restaurant was opened by the Guo family in the Chinatown of Atlanta, Georgia in 1956 on the occasion of the birth of Jason Guo, the eldest son in the 7th generation of the Guo family. The first Guo Li Zhuang restaurant in Beijing was opened in November 2006. Since then, restaurants have been opened in several locations in Beijing. The name of the restaurant is derived from homophones of the family name of its founder (Guo), the family name of his wife (Li), as well as the nickname of his son (Zhuang) and literally means "the strength inside the pot". The dishes are supposed to include medicinal secrets passed down in the Guo family and are often given poetic names such as "The Essence of the Golden Buddha," "Phoenix Rising," "Jasmine Flowers with 1,000 Layers", "Look for the Treasure in the Desert Sand", "Head crowned with a Jade Bracelet", and "Dragon in the Flame of Desire".Beyond genitals, the restaurant also carries such curious (and rare) delicacies as stewed deer face, sheep foetus in brown garlic sauce, and peacock claws.

The Workers' Gymnasium (official name) is an indoor arena located west of the Workers' Stadium in Beijing, China. It was inaugurated in 1961 for the 26th World Table Tennis Championships. It hosted the boxing events at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the Judo events at the 2008 Summer Paralympics. It is one of 11 Beijing-based venues to be renovated and upgraded for the Olympics. The arena has a seating capacity of 13,000.

The People's Literature Publishing House (simplified Chinese: 人民文学出版社; traditional Chinese: 人民文學出版社; pinyin: Rénmín Wénxué Chūbǎnshè) is a large-scale publishing house in China. It was established in March 1951, and was attached to the China Publishing Group (Chinese: 中国出版集团公司). It is known for scholarly publications, editions of classical Chinese literature, dictionaries, and high-quality paperbacks. Its head office is at Chaoyangmen 116, Beijing. Its current director is Pan Kaixiong (Chinese: 潘凯雄) and the editor-in-chief is Guan Shiguang (Chinese: 管士光).

The Embassy of Russia in Beijing is the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation to the People's Republic of China. It is also the successor to the Soviet Embassy in Beijing.
