Feldberg Pass

The Southern Black Forest Nature Park (German: Naturpark Südschwarzwald) is located in Baden-Württemberg in Germany and covers an area of 394,000 hectares. As of 2018, it is Germany's largest nature park.

The Feldsee (also Feldbergsee) is a lake in southern Baden-Württemberg at the foot of the Feldberg east of Freiburg im Breisgau in Germany. It is part of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park.

The Spießhorn is a mountain, 1,348.9 m above NHN high, in the Black Forest just east of the Herzogenhorn. The summit is on the boundary between St. Blasien and Bernau im Schwarzwald. The Spießhorn is largely forested. At the summit is an observation pavilion. To the southwest is a subpeak, the Kleines Spießhorn.

At a height of 1,448.2 m above sea level (NHN), the Seebuck is the second highest mountain of the Black Forest after the Feldberg. It is located in the German state of Baden-Württemberg.

The Herzogenhorn is a mountain, 1,415.2 m above sea level (NHN), in the southwest German state of Baden-Württemberg. It lies within a nature reserve in the municipality of Bernau im Schwarzwald.

The Baldenweger Buck is a mountain top, 1,460.5 m above sea level (NHN), in the Black Forest around 900 metres northeast of the Feldberg summit. The bare ridge drops steeply towards the west, north and east into the surrounding valleys of the Zastlerbach and Seebach. Only towards the south does it transition into a shallow saddle (1,452.8 m) that links the Baldenweger Buck with the Feldberg top. With its low isolation of 520 metres and a prominence of only 7.7 metres to the Feldberg, the Baldenweger Buck is not considered to be an independent eminence, but a subpeak of the Feldberg. As a result, the second highest summit in the Black Forest is usually seen as the lower, but more prominent, Seebuck. A waymarked footpath runs over the Baldenweger Buck from the Rinken via the Baldenweger Hut to the summit of the Feldberg.

The Mathisleweiher is a large bog lake, under 2 hectares in area, in the Black Forest in southern Germany. It lies in the High Black Forest between Feldberg in the west and the Titisee in the east on the territory of Hinterzarten at about 999 m above NN southwest of the village in the Eschengrundmoos Nature Reserve. The pond impounds the Zartenbach which flows through it from west-southwest to east-northeast. The stream rises on the eastern slopes of the Ramselehöhe (1,112 m above NN) at about 1,055 m above NN, picks up the Eschengrundmoosbach from the right from the protected bog and runs for less than a kilometre before entering the lake. A shorter stream runs from the north from the woods of the Stuckwald. It has a catchment of 1.0 km2The lake is accessible from Hinterzarten but only on foot. A path runs from the village passing close to the lake and a spur branches off to the east shore. Together with the Mathislehof, Mathislemühle and Mathislewald the pond belongs to the Müller-Fahnenberg Foundation of the University of Freiburg.

The Rotbach (in its upper reaches it is called the Zartenbach and Löffeltalbach, in its middle section, the Höllenbach) is the 19.9-kilometre-long, left-hand and southeasterly headstream of the Dreisam in the Southern Black Forest in the south German state of Baden-Württemberg.

Menzenschwand (Alemannic: Menzèschwand) is a climatic health spa in the Black Forest in Germany. The village lies within the borough of St. Blasien in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

At 1,493 metres (4,898 ft) the Feldberg in the Black Forest is the highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg, and the highest in Germany outside of the Alps and Bavaria. The local municipality of Feldberg was named after the mountain.

The Zastler Loch or Zastler Cirque (German: Zastlerkar) on the northern side of the Feldberg summit in the Black Forest is the highest cirque in the German Central Uplands. It forms the head of the Zastler valley, through which the Zastlerbach stream flows northwards into the Dreisam.

The Zastler Hut (German: Zastler Hütte) is a managed mountain hut situated at a height of 1,256 m above NHN in the Black Forest in Germany. It is located in the Zastler Loch northwest of the Feldberg summit, the highest peak in the Black Forest and state of Baden-Württemberg.
