Baldenweger Buck

The Baldenweger Buck is a mountain top, 1,460.5 m above sea level (NHN), in the Black Forest around 900 metres northeast of the Feldberg summit. The bare ridge drops steeply towards the west, north and east into the surrounding valleys of the Zastlerbach and Seebach. Only towards the south does it transition into a shallow saddle (1,452.8 m) that links the Baldenweger Buck with the Feldberg top. With its low isolation of 520 metres and a prominence of only 7.7 metres to the Feldberg, the Baldenweger Buck is not considered to be an independent eminence, but a subpeak of the Feldberg. As a result, the second highest summit in the Black Forest is usually seen as the lower, but more prominent, Seebuck. A waymarked footpath runs over the Baldenweger Buck from the Rinken via the Baldenweger Hut to the summit of the Feldberg.

At 1,493 metres (4,898 ft) the Feldberg in the Black Forest is the highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg, and the highest in Germany outside of the Alps and Bavaria. The local municipality of Feldberg was named after the mountain.

Zastler Loch

Feldberg Pass

It is south of the Feldberg peak, and the road runs through the town of Feldberg. The B 317 federal highway connects Todtnau and Titisee-Neustadt. The maximum incline is 1 in 10 (10%).

Herzogenhorn

The Herzogenhorn is a mountain, 1,415.2 m above sea level (NHN), in the southwest German state of Baden-Württemberg. It lies within a nature reserve in the municipality of Bernau im Schwarzwald.

Hinterwaldkopf

The Hinterwaldkopf is a mountain, 1,198.2 m above sea level (NHN), in the Southern Black Forest in Germany. It lies in the southeastern part of the catchment area of the Dreisam east of Freiburg im Breisgau between Kirchzarten and Hinterzarten. To the north it is bounded by the Höllental valley, to the south by the Zastler valley. Nearby settlements include Kirchzarten, Oberried (Breisgau), Falkensteig (part of Buchenbach) and Hinterzarten. The characteristic outline of the Hinterwaldkopf is a symbol of the Dreisam valley. Its open summit region offers views over the valley to the Kandel. A trail managed by the Black Forest Club runs over the mountain.

Silberberg (Todtnau)

The Silberberg ("silver mountain"), at 1,358.2 m above sea level (NHN), (along with the Spießhorn, 1,348.9 m above NHN,) is the most prominent summit in the mountain group around the Herzogenhorn (1,415.2 m above NHN) in the Black Forest in the southwest German state of Baden-Württemberg. It lies about 4 kilometres east of the town of Todtnau.
