Koyasan Tokyo Betsuin

Tōzen-ji (東禅寺), is a Buddhist temple located in Takanawa, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. The temple belongs to the Myōshin-ji branch of the Rinzai school of Japanese Zen. One of the four great Zen temples of Edo, it is best known in history as the location of the first British legation in Japan during the Bakumatsu period and the site of a number of incidents against foreigners by pro-sonnō jōi samurai. The temple's precincts were designated a National Historic Site in 2010.

Maruyama Shrine (丸山神社) is a Shinto shrine in Takanawa, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. The shrine was established in 1594 at the order of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Sengaku-ji (泉岳寺) is a Buddhist temple belonging to the Sōtō school of Japanese Zen located in the Takanawa neighborhood of Minato-ku, near Sengakuji Station and Shinagawa Station, Tokyo, Japan. It was one of the three major Sōtō temples in Edo during the Tokugawa shogunate, and became famous through its connection with the Akō incident of the forty-seven Rōnin in the 18th century.

The Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa (グランドプリンスホテル高輪) is a complex of three hotels (Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa, and The Prince Sakura Tower) designed by architect Togo Murano in 1982, and situated in the Takanawa district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. The hotel was originally established as the Takanawa Prince Hotel in 1953. The three hotels, effectively managed as one, are situated in a 10-acre (40,000 m2) garden which formerly belonged to Takeda Palace of Prince Tsuneyoshi Takeda, a member of the Japanese Imperial Family. The hotels are the flagship properties of the Prince Hotels group which has a recently checkered history due to events at its corporate parent, Seibu Corporation, an affiliate of Seibu Railway and its former chairman Yoshiaki Tsutsumi.

Takanawa Shrine (高輪神社, Takanawa Jinja) is a Shintō shrine which exists in Tokyo Minato Ward Takanawa 2-chome 14-18. It was established in the Meio years (1492–1501). January 24 of 2 of Koka a fire broke out, except to the stone gate and Otorii, all buildings burned. The present main hall of the shrine was built in 1980. The annual festival is September 10, and other ceremony the festival of being extinguished is hosted.

Meiji Gakuin University (明治学院大学, Meiji gakuin daigaku) is a Christian university in Tokyo and Yokohama that was established in 1863. The Reverend Dr. James Curtis Hepburn was one of its founders and served as the first president. The novelist and poet Shimazaki Toson graduated from this college and wrote the lyrics of its college song.

Meiji Gakuin Senior High School (明治学院高等学校, Meiji Gakuin Kōtōgakkō) is a private senior high school in Shirokane, Minato, Tokyo. Affiliated with Meiji Gakuin University (学校法人明治学院), it originated from the Meiji Gakuin, which was established in 1887 and housed a five-year secondary education program, originally only for boys. After World War I this was modified into separate junior high school and senior high school programs. The school became coeducational in 1991.

Tenjinzaka (天神坂) is a hill road that runs along the promontory through many districts of Takanawa. It crosses Sakurada Dori. It is said that this name given to the slope because of a small shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, a scholar who is venerated as the patron deity of scholarship, Tenjin. A Calyx field could be seen from this slope in the Edo period, therefore sometimes it is referred to as Yoshimizaka which also had a secondary meaning of "Good Luck" slope.

Takanawadai Station (高輪台駅, Takanawadai-eki) is a subway station on the Toei Asakusa Line, operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation. It is located in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Its number is A-06. The station serves the Shirokanedai neighborhood. Nearby are Meiji Gakuin University; several hotels including the Grand Prince Takanawa and the New Grand Prince Takanawa, the Le Méridien Pacific Tokyo and the Takanawa Tobu; and housing for the House of Representatives.
