Harry Stoke is a village in the parish of Stoke Gifford, South Gloucestershire, England.

Filton and Bradley Stoke is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2010 by Jack Lopresti, a Conservative.

Stoke Gifford is a village and parish in South Gloucestershire, England. It had around 11,000 residents at the 2001 census, increasing to 15,494 at the 2011 census and then to 19,794 in the 2021 Census. It is served by Bristol Parkway railway station and is home to Stoke Gifford depot, on the London-South Wales railway line. As well as the Bristol offices of Aviva which took over Friends Life in 2015, Hewlett Packard and the University of the West of England. The parish includes neighbouring Little Stoke, Harry Stoke and Stoke Park. The parish borders Filton, to the south-west, Patchway to the north west, Bradley Stoke to the north and Winterbourne and Hambrook to the east. To the south Stoke Gifford is served by the Bristol Ring Road, south of this a large green area known as the 'Green Lung' stretches to the inner city area of St Werburghs.

Great Stoke is a suburb of the city of Bristol, in the South Gloucestershire district, in the county of Gloucestershire, England. It is part of the town of Bradley Stoke and the village of Stoke Gifford.

Abbeywood Community School is a mixed secondary school located in the Stoke Gifford area of South Gloucestershire, England. Abbeywood Community School opened in 2010, replacing Filton High School, which previously occupied the site. Abbeywood’s governing body is the Olympus academy trust.

Bristol Technology and Engineering Academy (or BTE Academy) was a University Technical College (UTC) that opened in September 2013 in Stoke Gifford, just north of Bristol, England. The University of the West of England and City of Bristol College were the lead academic sponsors of the UTC, and Airbus and GKN were the lead business sponsors of the UTC.

Bristol Law School (BLS), formerly known as the Faculty of Law, is an academic school at the University of the West of England. This is different from the University of Bristol Law School.Bristol Law School is one of the largest law schools in England and Wales with nearly two thousand students enrolled with seventeen hundred being enrolled full-time. The School provides both academic and professional legal studies. The department is also associated with UWE Law Society, which is part of The Students' Union at UWE.

With more than 30,000 students and 3,000 staff, it is the largest provider of higher education in the South West of England.The institution was known as the Bristol Polytechnic in 1969; it received university status in 1992 and became the University of the West of England, Bristol. In common with the University of Bristol and University of Bath, it can trace its origins to the Merchant Venturers' Technical College, founded as a school in 1595 by the Society of Merchant Venturers.UWE Bristol is made up of several campuses in Greater Bristol. Stoke Gifford Stadium is an association football stadium based in Filton, in South Gloucestershire, England. Until August 2020 it was the home of FA Women's Super League team Bristol City W.F.C. and the Bristol Aztecs american football team. It is part of the South Gloucestershire and Stroud College and was opened in 2011 under the name of Kip Keino Athletic Stadium as it has an athletics track around it.The cost of the development was £875,000 with £450,000 coming from Bristol City Council. Bristol City moved into the stadium in 2011 at the same time as the Aztecs and the Kenyan athletics team used it as a training venue for the 2012 Summer Olympics. The stadium has a capacity of 1,500, the main stand seating 300. The nearest railway stations are Bristol Parkway and Filton Abbey Wood.

Stoke Gifford depot (or the Filton Triangle depot) is a railway depot built for AT300 units from the Hitachi A-train procured under the Intercity Express Programme. The depot is situated between Filton and Stoke Gifford at a junction intersection of the Cross Country Route, South Wales Main Line and the Filton to Avonmouth Docks line. It is operated by Agility Trains as part of its contract to maintain the Class 800 fleet operated by Great Western Railway.

The Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL), established in 2004, is the largest academic centre for multi-disciplinary robotics research in the UK. It is the result of a collaboration between the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England in Bristol and is situated on UWE's Frenchay Campus. An internationally recognised Centre of Excellence in Robotics, the Bristol Robotics Laboratory covers an area of over 4,600 sq. metres (50,000 sq. feet). The Laboratory is currently involved in interdisciplinary research projects addressing key areas of robot capabilities and applications including human-robot interaction, unmanned aerial vehicles, driverless cars, swarming behaviour, non-linear control, machine vision, robot ethics and soft robotics. The BRL co-directors are Professors Manual Giuliani and Arthur Richards.

The Three Brooks Nature Reserve is a Local Nature Reserve of approximately 44 hectares (110 acres) in Bradley Stoke, South Gloucestershire, England. It is named after the Hortham, Patchway, and Stoke Brooks which run through it, meeting at Three Brooks Lake before flowing eastwards back under the M4 motorway as Bradley Brook. The town of Bradley Stoke was built in the 1980s on low-grade farmland, and a number of natural features such as Savage's Wood, Webb's Wood, and Sherbourne's Brake were incorporated into the town to form the Three Brooks Local Nature Reserve. This tranquil area in the middle of the busy community of Bradley Stoke is made up of the three previously named bluebell woods, linked by an important wildlife corridor that includes brooks, ponds, areas of rough grassland, species-rich hedgerows, and a lake. The Lake is now part of the Frome Valley Relief Sewer.The site is owned by the South Gloucestershire Council.
