The Shastri Nagar (formerly called Vivekanandapuri) Metro Station is located on the Red Line of the Delhi Metro.

The Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College, also popularly known as Tibbia College, is an institution under the Government of Delhi, located at Karol Bagh in New Delhi, India. The institution which offers education and training in Ayurvedic and Unani medicine, has its origins dating back to the late 19th century. The college, whose foundation was laid by Charles Hardinge, 1st Baron Hardinge of Penshurst on 29 March 1916, the then Viceroy of India and was inaugurated by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on 13 February 1921, offers bachelor's (BAMS & BUMS) and masters (MD) degrees in Ayurvedic and Unani streams. On 15 February 2008, a 60-bed maternity and child block in Tibbia College Hospital, and the Delhi government announced about its intentions of developing the college into a university, in recognition of the college's contributions to Ayurvedic and Unani medicine.

The Pratap Nagar Metro Station is located on the Red Line of the Delhi Metro. It is within walking distance to the Indian Railways Subzi Mandi railway station.

Ajmal Khan Park is an urban park in the central part of the Karol Bagh of New Delhi, India . Spread over five acres, it was initially opened in 1921, named Hakim Ajmal Khan (1868–1927), noted freedom fighter and Unani medicine physician. It is adjacent to Tibbia College built by Hakim Ajmal Khan. The park has a statue of Ajmal Khan at the centre of the park, besides a musical fountain run by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation. Roshanara Garden is a Mughal-era garden built by Roshanara Begum, the second daughter of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It is situated in Shakti Nagar near Kamla Nagar Clock Tower and North Campus of University of Delhi. It is one of the biggest gardens in Delhi having a great variety of plants, some imported from Japan. The lake inside the garden is visited by migratory birds during winters and is a popular site for bird watching.The garden has a raised canal with flowering plants on both sides. Today the garden holds a white marble pavilion built in memory of princess Roshanara, who died in 1671 and was buried there. The elite Roshanara Club, which was started here in 1922 by the British is spread over 22 acres. Since 1927 first class cricket is played at the Roshanara Club Ground, which now boasts floodlights. The club is considered the birthplace of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Post Independence cricket administrators gathered in front of an old fireplace and sowed the seeds of the Indian cricket body.
