Karol Bagh (Lok Sabha constituency)

Karol Bagh Assembly constituency is one of the seventy Delhi assembly constituencies of Delhi in northern India. Karol Bagh assembly constituency is a part of New Delhi (Lok Sabha constituency).

A fire began at a budget hotel in Central Delhi, the Hotel Arpit Palace, in the Karol Bagh area of the city, at around 4.30am on 12 February 2019, killing at least 17 people. The fire went through all floors of the hotel; people were seen jumping from it.

Karol Bagh Metro station, known as Drishti IAS Karol Bagh metro station, is a terminus station located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. Karol Bagh is a residential and commercial area located at Delhi. This metro station of Delhi Metro was inaugurated in year 2005. Its adjacent metro stations on the Blue Line are Jhandewalan and Rajendra Place. The name comes under the new co-branding initiative by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, under which brands can add their name, in this case the IAS Institute, to the metro stations in Delhi along with some advertising space provided to them at the metro stations.

The Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Faridabad is a diocese of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Faridabad, a city in Haryana, India. Erected on 6 March 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI it serves around 150,000 Syro-Malabar Catholics in the area of Delhi. Its first and current eparch is Kuriakose Bharanikulangara, with the personal title of archbishop. The Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College, also popularly known as Tibbia College, is an institution under the Government of Delhi, located at Karol Bagh in New Delhi, India. The institution which offers education and training in Ayurvedic and Unani medicine, has its origins dating back to the late 19th century. The college, whose foundation was laid by Charles Hardinge, 1st Baron Hardinge of Penshurst on 29 March 1916, the then Viceroy of India and was inaugurated by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on 13 February 1921, offers bachelor's (BAMS & BUMS) and masters (MD) degrees in Ayurvedic and Unani streams. On 15 February 2008, a 60-bed maternity and child block in Tibbia College Hospital, and the Delhi government announced about its intentions of developing the college into a university, in recognition of the college's contributions to Ayurvedic and Unani medicine.

Ajmal Khan Park is an urban park in the central part of the Karol Bagh of New Delhi, India . Spread over five acres, it was initially opened in 1921, named Hakim Ajmal Khan (1868–1927), noted freedom fighter and Unani medicine physician. It is adjacent to Tibbia College built by Hakim Ajmal Khan. The park has a statue of Ajmal Khan at the centre of the park, besides a musical fountain run by Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation. It has been a popular venue to numerous political rallies, holding a crowd of over 20,000 people.

Janki Devi Memorial College (JDMC) is one of the women's colleges of University of Delhi. The college is located at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Marg, New Delhi. The college is near the Karol Bagh Metro Station.

The Jhandewalan metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro.

Delhi Sarai Rohilla railway station (station code: DEE) is situated about 4 kilometres (2+1⁄2 mi) from old Delhi railway junction in India. It is managed by Delhi Division of Northern Railway zone. Many trains from Delhi to Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat stop at this station. More than twenty trains including Duronto and AC trains originate at this station.
