The Hobart Building is an office high rise located at 582–592 Market Street, near Montgomery and 2nd Streets, in the financial district of San Francisco, California. It was completed in 1914 after only eleven months, which led to accusations that it had been constructed with a degree of recklessness. It was at the time the second tallest building in the city, at 21 floors and 87 m (285 ft). It was designed by Willis Polk. The building was constructed for the Hobart Estate Company on the site of the company's previous offices. The location was reportedly chosen by founder Walter S. Hobart in the 1880s for its prominent location at the head of 2nd Street, originally one of the city's major streets leading to the fashionable Rincon Hill neighborhood. Said to be the favorite commercial building of its designer, Willis Polk, its sculpted terra cotta exterior with Baroque ornamentation and handcrafted brass and Italian marble interior are a noted example of neoclassical architecture.Its unusual shape was dictated by the site, which is an asymmetric polygon, and since a neighboring structure was torn down in 1967, exposing one flank, it is now even more idiosyncratic and striking. The Hobart Building was designated as a landmark by the City of San Francisco in 1983, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.

Montgomery Street station (often Montgomery station) is a combined BART and Muni Metro rapid transit station in the Market Street subway. Located under Market Street between Montgomery Street and Sansome Street, it serves the Financial District neighborhood and surrounding areas. The three-level station has a large fare mezzanine level, with separate platform levels for Muni Metro and BART below. With over 42,000 boardings per weekday in 2019, Montgomery Street and Embarcadero station to the north are the two busiest stations in the BART system.

100 Montgomery Street, also known as the Equitable Life Building, is an office tower located in the financial district of San Francisco, California. The 354-foot (108 m), 25-floor tower was completed in 1955 and served as headquarters to the Equitable Life Insurance Company. Designed by William Peugh, 100 Montgomery Street is one of the first post-World War II office buildings in San Francisco, distinguished by classical white marble facade against aluminum art-deco window framing. It was purchased by developer Hines and its partner Sterling American Property in January 2006 for US$67.5 million from EQ Office. Hines and Sterling sold the building to EQ Office, an affiliate of The Blackstone Group LP, for US$165 million in October 2012, who in turn sold it for a reported $285 million to the Vanbarton Group and a pension fund partner in 2016.

The Admission Day Monument is an 1897 sculpture by Douglas Tilden, located at the intersection of Market Street and Montgomery Street in San Francisco, California, United States. It commemorates California Admission Day (September 9, 1850), the date on which the state became part of the Union, following the Mexican-American war of 1848.Other names for the sculpture include Admission Day, the Admission Day Fountain, the California Admissions Day Monument, Native Son Monument, Native Sons' Monument, Native Sons Monument, and Phelan Fountain.

Save the Redwoods League is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect and restore coast redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) and giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) trees through the preemptive purchase of development rights to notable areas with such forests. It relies on donations from private individuals as well as funding from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and investments to buy, restore, and provide public access to redwood forest lands. The League has protected more than 200,000 acres (810 km2) of forestland. As of 2018, the League has helped create 66 redwood parks and reserves, including Humboldt Redwoods State Park and Redwood National and State Parks.In addition to purchasing and protecting land, Save the Redwoods League supports restoration, research, and education programs, and gives small grants to other organizations involved in ecological conservation. Save the Redwoods League maintains and updates a website which offers information, photos, and progress reports.

101 Montgomery (also known as The Schwab Building) is a high-rise office building located in San Francisco, California. The building rises 404 feet (123 m) in the northern region of San Francisco's Financial District. It contains 28 floors, and was completed in 1984. 101 Montgomery is currently tied with Embarcadero West as the 39th-tallest building in the city. The building's developer was Cahill Contractors. The building has earlier served as the headquarters of Charles Schwab & Company.

180 Montgomery Street is a 25-story, 98 m (322 ft). Class A office building in the financial district of San Francisco, California. The building serves as the corporate headquarters for Bank of the West, and has offices for other major tenants such as, Ameriprise Financial, Berlitz, Hanjin Shipping, Kforce, Valimail, Lexmark, Prudential Insurance, the Union Labor Life Insurance Company, and Western Union.180 Montgomery is owned by a joint venture formed in 2007 between Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. and The Swig Company.It sits on the site of the former Occidental Hotel which was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake.

225 Bush Street, originally known as the Standard Oil Building, is a 328-foot (100 m), 25-floor office building in the financial district of San Francisco. The building includes 21 floors of office space, 1 floor of retail, 1 storage floor and 2 basement levels including the garage. It was the tallest building in the city from its completion in 1922 until 1925. It contains approximately 560,000 sq ft (52,000 m2) of rentable space. It is a historic building, serving as the headquarters for Standard Oil of California, now Chevron, for over half a century. Architect George W. Kelham designed the Standard Oil Building for John D. Rockefeller and modeled it on the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Building. Composed of two buildings, the old wing was built in the 1920s. The new wing was built in the 1950s.

The Flatiron Building is a highrise completed in 1913 at 540 Market Street at Sutter Street in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The 10-story, 120-foot (37 m) structure is designated landmark No. 155.Jimdo has offices in the building, as does TextNow, and Trim. Previously, Boutique Air had its headquarters there.The building was featured in the opening credits of the 1980s detective series Crazy Like a Fox since lead character Harry Fox had his offices in the building.

595 Market Street is a 410 ft (125 m) skyscraper at the corner of Second Street and Market Street in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. It contains 30 floors, and was completed in 1979. The hexagonal-shaped skyscraper was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. In 2009, Visa Inc. moved its corporate headquarters to 595 Market Street from San Mateo, before deciding to move to Foster City in October 2012. Current tenants include LendingClub.
