The Central Market of Sabadell (Catalonia, Spain) is a large building designed between 1927 and 1930 by local architect Josep Renom i Costa, spanning both the "monumentalism" typical of the construction craze at the end of Miguel Primo de Rivera's dictatorship and the beginning of the Second Spanish Republic. In 2004 it underwent renovation work. It was devised at the time as a specially fine model for municipal structures of this sort. On the sides is inscribed the Catalan word for "market", mercat. Its floor is an irregular quadrilateral, and its basement included originally an ice factory which, however, was closed at the onset of the Republic because the former government didn't pay for its costs.

Sabadell (Catalan pronunciation: [səβəˈðeʎ]) is a city in Catalonia, Spain. It is in the south of the comarca of Vallès Occidental and its joint capital (co-capital), on the River Ripoll, 20 km (12 mi) north of Barcelona. Sabadell is located 190 m (620 ft) above sea level. Sabadell pioneered the Industrial Revolution in Catalonia with its textile mills, together with its archrival Terratza. Thus, in the mid-19th century, it became the most important wool city in Spain, being nicknamed the "Catalan Manchester". Today many mills from that period can still be seen, with most of them having been refurbished as residential buildings or other services. Nowadays Sabadell is basically a commercial and industrial city; there are no significant agricultural activities. Sabadell is an important communications point. Two motorways run beside the city: the C-58 (from Barcelona to Manresa) and the AP-7 (from France and Girona to Tarragona, Valencia, and Andalusia), and some roads link Sabadell with nearby cities and towns: Barcelona, Terratza, Cerdanyola del Vallès, Sant Quirze del Vallès, Barberà del Vallès, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Castellar del Vallès, Sant Llorenç Savall, Granollers, Rubí, Sentmenat, and Molins de Rei. A railroad line crosses the city (the Rodalies Barcelona line from Barcelona to Lleida) and another one terminates in the city (the FGC line from Barcelona to Sabadell via Sant Cugat del Vallès).

The Sabadell History Museum or MHS (Catalan: Museu d'Història de Sabadell) is a pluridisciplinary museum that brings together collections on the archaeology, history and ethnology of the city of Sabadell, especially in relation to wool manufacture and the textile industry. Lectures and talks are given on subjects regarding the city's history. Entrance is free and wheelchair accessible.The museum is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network and located in an old factory house dating from 1859 that belonged to Antoni Casanovas, a Sabadell businessman.

Sant Quirze del Vallès is a town located in the comarca of the Vallès Occidental, province of Barcelona, Catalonia. It is located about 12 miles away from the capital city, Barcelona. Sant Quirze is a residential town populated by approximately 20,000 people with a density of 1.432,27 hab/km², and has grown since the end of the 1990s onwards. It shares borders with Sabadell, Rubí, Terrassa and Sant Cugat, among others, which are important towns within the Barcelona area, since they form Catalonia's most important industrial area and probably also Spain's. Sant Quirze del Vallès is located near the mountain range of the Serra dels Galliners. It has direct access to C58 highway to Barcelona, among others like C58 Manresa and AP7 highway to Girona, Tarragona and Lleida.

ESDi School of Design (Escola Superior de Disseny ESDi) is one of the schools of Ramon Llull University. It's located in Sabadell (Barcelona). It offers the Official Undergraduate Degree in Design in the following specialisations: Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, Interior Design and Audiovisual Design. They also teach Management Design which is part of an own specialisation called Integrated Multidisciplinary Design. The Textile Design Foundation (FUNDIT), whose CEO is Antoni Garrell i Guiu, is the founding institution of ESDI. ESDi has over twenty years of history. It was the first school that introduced Spanish university studies in design, as a title owned by URL, and was one of the first colleges to provide the Spanish Official Undergraduate University Degree in Design in 2008. Its mission is to research, which can be proved as ESDi was the organizer of the First International Congress of Design and Innovation in Catalonia in 2010.

This, and the Cuatro Vientos Airport, are the most important airports for general aviation in Spain. There are more than 200 aircraft registered at this airport, completing around 150.000 operations per year. There are more than 400 people working at these facilities, including training schools, workshops, etc. This airport hosts the oldest aviation club in Spain. 70% of the activity of this airport is devoted to pilot training (both fixed wing and rotary). The other 30% is for advertising flights, photography, and aerotaxi, private flights and institutional flights.

The Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters is a golf tournament on the European Tour. It was first played in 2010 at the Valderrama Golf Club in Sotogrande, Spain. It is played at the same location as the former Volvo Masters. The 2012 competition was cancelled, only a month before the event was due to start, as the new local government wished to cut costs. The event did not return until 2017, when it was hosted by 2011 champion Sergio García, who had hosted the Open de España at the same venue in 2016. In 2019, the event was added to the Open Qualifying Series, giving up to three non-exempt players entry into The Open Championship.
