Aviano railway station (Italian: Stazione di Aviano) is a railway station serving the city of Aviano, Italy.

Aviano (Friulian: Davian; Cimbrian: Pleif) is a town and comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Pordenone at the foot of the Dolomites mountain range in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, northeast Italy. Aviano is home to the C.R.O. (Centro di Riferimento Oncologico), one of the main italian cancer hospitals and research centres[1]. The Piancavallo ski resort is part of the municipality.

Aviano Middle/High School (previously Aviano American High School) is a Department of Defense Education Activity secondary school located on the Italian owned NATO Air Base in Aviano, Italy which hosts the 31st Fighter Wing. The majority of students are dependents of active duty military personnel, DoD employees, contractors and diplomats, although a small percentage are children of other English speaking expatriates or local Italian residents. As of the 2008–2009 school year Aviano Middle School and Aviano High School were joined into one school serving grades 6-12. It is classified as a Division II school in DoDDS Europe. The school's mascot is the saint.

Aviano Air Base (IATA: AVB, ICAO: LIPA) (Italian: Base aerea di Aviano) is a base in northeastern Italy, in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. It is located in the Aviano municipality, at the foot of the Carnic Pre-Alps or Southern Carnic Alps, about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from Pordenone. The Italian Air Force has ownership, and administrative and military control of the base. It hosts the U.S. Air Force's 31st Fighter Wing and per nuclear sharing is one of six active air bases in five European countries with B61 nuclear bombs in underground WS3 Weapon Storage and Security System inside aircraft shelters.The 31st Fighter Wing is the only U.S. fighter wing south of the Alps. The 31st Fighter Wing is made up of two General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter squadrons, the 555th Fighter Squadron and the 510th Fighter Squadron, allowing it to fly both attack and defensive missions.

Budoia (Standard Friulian: Budoie; Western Friulian: Buduoia) is a comune (municipality) in the Regional decentralization entity of Pordenone at the foot of the Dolomites mountain range in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 13 kilometres (8 mi) northwest of Pordenone. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,311 and an area of 37.7 square kilometres (14.6 sq mi).The municipality of Budoia comprises the frazioni (boroughs) of Dardago and Santa Lucia. Budoia borders the following municipalities: Aviano, Fontanafredda, Polcenigo, Tambre.

The company specializes in the design and manufacture of light aircraft in the form of kits for amateur construction and ready-to-fly aircraft in the European Fédération Aéronautique Internationale microlight category.The company produces a range of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, both manned and unmanned. These include the Alpi Pioneer 200 and 230, the 300, the aerobatic 330 microlights and the four seat 400 kit aircraft. The 200 and 300 series are built from a combination of wood and composites. The company also manufactures the Syton AH 130 turbine-powered helicopter which is derived from the Rotorway Exec. Fontanafredda (Standard Friulian: Fontanefrede; Western Friulian: Fontanafredha; Venetian: Fontanafreda) is a comune (municipality) of about 12,000 inhabitants in Province of Pordenone, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, north-eastern Italy. The town hall is located in the frazione of Vigonovo.
