Rosanna is a leafy suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 12 km north-east from Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Banyule local government area. Rosanna recorded a population of 8,616 at the 2021 census. Rosanna is on the fringe of the Yarra Valley green belt.Rosanna is famed for its beautiful parklands, recently updated train station, big homes, leafy streets, amenities and zoned for a number of high ranking public schools.

Heidelberg recorded a population of 7,360 at the 2021 census.Once a large town on Melbourne's outskirts, Heidelberg was absorbed into Melbourne as part of the latter's northward expansion after World War II. Heidelberg once had its own historic central business district including its own municipality in the former City of Heidelberg. Heidelberg lends its name to the Heidelberg School, an impressionist art movement that developed in and around the town in the late 19th-century.

The Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research (ARI) is the biodiversity research organisation for the government of Victoria, Australia. It provides advice on ecologically sustainable land and water management issues and with regard to threatened native flora and fauna. It is named after Sir Arthur Rylah, a long-serving Victorian politician and deputy state premier between 1955 and 1971.

The Murray Griffin house, also called the Vaughan Griffin house, is a house located at 52 Darebin Street in Heidelberg, in the City of Banyule, in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, in Victoria, Australia. Built in 1922 on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people, the house was added to the Victorian Heritage Register on 19 June 1997 in recognition of its architectural significance; and was also added to a non-statutory lists by the Victorian branch of the National Trust on 16 July 1998 and the City of Banyule on an unknown date.

The City of Banyule is a local government area in Victoria, Australia in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It was created under the Local Government Act 1989 and established in 1994 as an amalgamation of former councils. It has an area of 63 square kilometres (24.3 sq mi) and lies between 7 and 21 km from central Melbourne. In 1994 it had a population of 116,000. In June 2018 Banyule had a population of 130,237. The Yarra River runs along the City's southern border while its western border is defined by Darebin Creek. The City moved their main offices from Ivanhoe to Greensborough in 2017. A brand-new civic centre was constructed, including three-level offices to accommodate 320 council staff, community and function rooms.

The Head Teacher's residence is a house that, from 1878 to c. 1905 served as the house for the head teacher of the local government primary school, located at 114 Cape Street in Heidelberg, in the City of Banyule, in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, in Victoria, Australia. Whilst the house remains extant, the building is no longer used for teacher housing. Built in 1878 on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people, the house was added to the Victorian Heritage Register on 20 August 1982 in recognition of its architectural and historical significance; and was also added to non-statutory lists by the Victorian branch of the National Trust on 30 June 1977 and the now defunct Register of the National Estate on 30 June 1992.
