The Bois de Boulogne (French pronunciation: ​[bwɑ d(ə) bulɔɲ], "Boulogne woodland") is a large public park located along the western edge of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, near the suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt and Neuilly-sur-Seine. The land was ceded to the city of Paris by the Emperor Napoleon III to be turned into a public park in 1852.It is the second-largest park in Paris, slightly smaller than the Bois de Vincennes on the eastern side of the city. It covers an area of 845 hectares (2088 acres), which is about two and a half times the area of Central Park in New York, slightly larger than Phoenix Park in Dublin, and slightly smaller than Richmond Park in London. Within the boundaries of the Bois de Boulogne are an English landscape garden with several lakes and a cascade; two smaller botanical and landscape gardens, the Château de Bagatelle and the Pré-Catelan; a zoo and amusement park in the Jardin d'Acclimatation; GoodPlanet Foundation's Domaine de Longchamp dedicated to ecology and humanism, The Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil, a complex of greenhouses holding a hundred thousand plants; two tracks for horse racing, the Hippodrome de Longchamp and the Auteuil Hippodrome; the Stade Roland Garros where the French Open tennis tournament is held each year, the Fondation Louis Vuitton and other attractions.

The Château de Bagatelle is a small Neoclassical style château with several small formal French gardens, a rose garden, and an orangerie. It is set on 59 acres of gardens in French landscape style in the Bois de Boulogne, which is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. There is also a Château de Bagatelle located near Abbeville in northern France.

The Bois de Boulogne massacre was an incident involving the killing of 35 young French Resistance fighters in the Bois de Boulogne on 16 August 1944 during the Second World War.

4 route du Champ d'Entraînement, also known as the Villa Windsor, is a historic villa in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, within the northwest section of the Bois de Boulogne, close to the southern edge of Neuilly-sur-Seine. The house is owned by the city of Paris and leased to the family of Mohamed Al-Fayed. Until 1986, it was the Paris home of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.

The Château de Madrid was a Renaissance building in France. It was built in Neuilly, on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, near Paris in the early 16th century. It fell into disuse in the 17th and 18th centuries and was almost completely demolished in the 1790s.

The Bagatelle Gamefield (French Plaine de Jeux de Bagatelle) is a public recreation area for practicing various sports and leisure activities, among them football, rugby and cricket.Located in the vicinity of the Bagatelle Park, in the region of the Bois de Boulogne in Paris, the field served as the stage for several aviation experiences of pioneer Alberto Santos Dumont in 1906.The place preserves a monument (48°52′5″N 2°14′24″E) which makes reference to the flight of 14-Bis, in which it is written: Ici le 12 novembre 1906, sous le contrôle de l'Aero-Club de France, Santos-Dumont a établi les premiers records d'aviation du monde : duree 21s 1/5, distance 220 m. Longchamp Abbey (French: Abbaye royale de Longchamp), known also as the Convent of the Humility of the Blessed Virgin, was a convent of Poor Clares founded in 1255 in Auteuil, Paris, by Saint Isabelle of France. The site is now occupied by Longchamp Racecourse.

The Neuilly kindergarten hostage crisis took place from 13-15 May 1993, when Érick Schmitt (calling himself the "Human Bomb"), a depressed and unemployed businessman, held a kindergarten class in Neuilly-sur-Seine hostage for two days. He was armed with a flare gun and strapped with explosives, and was eventually killed on 15 May during a RAID assault. There were no other casualties. The police response to the crisis was controversial due to the circumstances under which Schmitt was killed and the involvement of future French president Nicolas Sarkozy.

The Auteuil Hippodrome is a horse racing venue on Route des Lacs in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris, France. The 33-hectare (82-acre) race course opened November 1, 1873. It is designed exclusively for steeplechase racing. Modernized a number of times, in 1971 access was improved when two pedestrian tunnels were built under the tracks that lead to the Porte d'Auteuil and the Porte de Passy. It hosted the equestrian events of the 1924 Summer Olympics. It was operating during the liberation of Paris in 1944.Operated by France Galop, important annual races held at the Auteuil Hippodrome include the Prix du Président de la République in April, the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris in late May, the Grande Course de Haies usually run in June but being run in May in 2018 on the same card as the Grand Steeple-Chase, and the Prix La Haye Jousselin in early November.

Maisons Jaoul are a celebrated pair of houses in the upmarket Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine, designed by Le Corbusier and built in 1954–56. They are among his most important post-war buildings and feature a rugged aesthetic of unpainted cast concrete "béton brut" and roughly detailed brickwork.

Musée Marmottan Monet (English: Marmottan Museum of Monet) is an art museum in Paris, France dedicated to artist Claude Monet. The collection features over three hundred Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings by Claude Monet, including his 1872 Impression, Sunrise. Marmottan Museum's fame is the result of a donation in 1966 by Michel Monet, Claude's second son and only heir.

The Louis Vuitton Foundation (French: Fondation d'entreprise Louis-Vuitton), previously Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation (Fondation Louis-Vuitton pour la création), is a French art museum and cultural center sponsored by the group LVMH and its subsidiaries. It is run as a legally separate, nonprofit entity as part of LVMH's promotion of art and culture. The art museum opened on October 20, 2014 in the presence of President François Hollande. The Deconstructivist building was designed by American architect Frank Gehry, with groundwork starting in 2006. It is adjacent to the Jardin d'Acclimatation in the Bois de Boulogne of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, bordering on Neuilly-sur-Seine. More than 1.4 million people visited the Louis Vuitton Foundation in 2017.The actual cost of the museum, initially projected to be €100 million, was revealed in 2017 to have been nearly eight times that sum. A November 2018 report of the Court of Audit indicated that from 2007 to 2014, building construction constituted the main activity of the Foundation. Earlier that month, FRICC, a French anti-corruption group, filed a complaint in court in Paris accusing the Louis Vuitton Foundation of committing fraud and tax evasion in the construction of its museum. It claimed the nonprofit branch of the LVMH conglomerate was able to deduct about 60% of the cost of the museum from its taxes and request tax refunds on some other costs. In all, FRICC claimed LVMH and the Louis Vuitton Foundation received nearly €603 million from the government toward the nearly €790 million construction costs of the museum. In September 2019, the case was dismissed.
