The Bois de Boulogne (French pronunciation: ​[bwɑ d(ə) bulɔɲ], "Boulogne woodland") is a large public park located along the western edge of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, near the suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt and Neuilly-sur-Seine. The land was ceded to the city of Paris by the Emperor Napoleon III to be turned into a public park in 1852.It is the second-largest park in Paris, slightly smaller than the Bois de Vincennes on the eastern side of the city. It covers an area of 845 hectares (2088 acres), which is about two and a half times the area of Central Park in New York, slightly larger than Phoenix Park in Dublin, and slightly smaller than Richmond Park in London. Within the boundaries of the Bois de Boulogne are an English landscape garden with several lakes and a cascade; two smaller botanical and landscape gardens, the Château de Bagatelle and the Pré-Catelan; a zoo and amusement park in the Jardin d'Acclimatation; GoodPlanet Foundation's Domaine de Longchamp dedicated to ecology and humanism, The Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil, a complex of greenhouses holding a hundred thousand plants; two tracks for horse racing, the Hippodrome de Longchamp and the Auteuil Hippodrome; the Stade Roland Garros where the French Open tennis tournament is held each year, the Fondation Louis Vuitton and other attractions.

Stade Roland Garros (French pronunciation: ​[stad ʁɔlɑ̃ ɡaʁos]; "Roland Garros Stadium") is a complex of tennis courts located in Paris that hosts the French Open, a tournament also known as Roland Garros. It is a Grand Slam championship tournament played annually around the end of May and the beginning of June. The complex is named after Roland Garros, a pioneering French aviator, and it was constructed in 1928 to host France's first defence of the Davis Cup. The 13.5-hectare (34-acre) complex contains twenty courts, including three large-capacity stadiums; Les Jardins de Roland Garros, a large restaurant and bar complex; Le Village, the press and VIP area; France's National Training Centre (CNE); and the Tenniseum, a bilingual, multimedia museum of the history of tennis.

The French Open (French: Internationaux de France de Tennis), also known as Roland-Garros (French: [ʁɔlɑ̃ ɡaʁos]), is a major tennis tournament held over two weeks at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France, beginning in late May each year. The tournament and venue are named after the French aviator Roland Garros. The French Open is the premier clay court championship in the world and the only Grand Slam tournament currently held on this surface. It is chronologically the second of the four annual Grand Slam tournaments, the other three are the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. Until 1975, the French Open was the only major tournament not played on grass. Between the seven rounds needed for a championship, the clay surface characteristics (slower pace, higher bounce), and the best-of-five-set men's singles matches, the French Open is widely regarded as the most physically demanding tournament in the world.

The Tenniseum, also known as the Musée du Tennis or the Musée de Roland-Garros, is a tennis museum located in the Stade Roland Garros in the 16th arrondissement at 2, avenue Gordon-Bennett, Paris, France. It is open daily except Mondays; an admission fee is charged. The museum was created in 2003 by the Fédération Française de Tennis (French Federation of Tennis), and currently contains about 1000 m2 of exhibition space. Its permanent collection is primarily multimedia (video displays) and photographs; it also contains roughly a hundred tennis racquets dating from 1920 to the present.

The Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil (French pronunciation: ​[ʒaʁdɛ̃ de sɛʁ dotœj]) is a botanical garden set within a major greenhouse complex located at the southern edge of the Bois de Boulogne in the 16th arrondissement, with entry at 1 avenue Gordon-Bennett, Paris, France. The site first served as a botanical garden in 1761 under Louis XV. Today's greenhouses were designed and constructed in 1895-1898 by architect Jean-Camille Formigé (1845-1926). In 1998 they became part of the Jardin botanique de la Ville de Paris. Today the greenhouses produce about 100,000 plants per year for the interior decoration of municipal buildings. Exhibition greenhouses contain palm trees, succulents, and tropical collections, with substantial representation of Araceae, Begoniaceae, Bromeliaceae, Codiaeum, Peperomia, Philodendron, Rhipsalis, Rhododendron, Streptocarpus sect. Saintpaulia, and Zingiberaceae.

Piscine Molitor (French pronunciation: ​[pisin molitɔʁ]; also known as the Piscines Auteuil-Molitor or the Grands établissements balnéaires d'Auteuil) is a swimming pool and hotel complex located in Porte Molitor, 16th arrondissement of Paris, Île-de-France, Paris, France. It is next to the Bois de Boulogne park, and between Stade Roland Garros and Parc des Princes. The complex was built in 1929 and inaugurated by Olympic swimmers Aileen Riggin, Matthew Gauntlett and Johnny Weissmuller. The pool is known for its Art Deco designs and the popular introduction of the bikini by Louis Réard on 5 July 1946.The pool was classified as a French monument historique on 27 March 1990, after having fallen into disuse and closing in 1989. The swimming pool complex was rebuilt from scratch in the style of the previous historic design. The new complex includes two pools and a four star hotel. It opened in May 2014.

The bibliothèque Marmottan, located in Boulogne-Billancourt, is a public library bequeathed in 1932 to the Académie des beaux-arts by its founder Paul Marmottan. Dedicated to the First French Empire and open to readers interested in this period, it contains some 25,000 books and periodicals, making it one of the largest Napoleonic libraries in the world.While it regularly hosts scholars in residence, it will also, from 2023, have three apartments for artists whose work will be presented in the exhibition rooms.

The Auteuil Hippodrome is a horse racing venue on Route des Lacs in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris, France. The 33-hectare (82-acre) race course opened November 1, 1873. It is designed exclusively for steeplechase racing. Modernized a number of times, in 1971 access was improved when two pedestrian tunnels were built under the tracks that lead to the Porte d'Auteuil and the Porte de Passy. It hosted the equestrian events of the 1924 Summer Olympics. It was operating during the liberation of Paris in 1944.Operated by France Galop, important annual races held at the Auteuil Hippodrome include the Prix du Président de la République in April, the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris in late May, the Grande Course de Haies usually run in June but being run in May in 2018 on the same card as the Grand Steeple-Chase, and the Prix La Haye Jousselin in early November.

Immeuble Molitor is an apartment building designed by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret and built between 1931 and 1934. Located at the border between the city of Paris and the commune of Boulogne-Billancourt in France, it has been listed along with 16 other architectural works by Le Corbusier as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Le Corbusier lived in the building from its completion until his death in 1965.

The Ambroise Paré Hospital (Boulogne-Billancourt) is a celebrated teaching hospital in the prestigious Parisian area Boulogne-Billancourt. It is part of the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris which is the largest hospital system in Europe and one of the largest in the world. It is one of the teaching hospitals of Paris-Saclay University, which was ranked 1st university in France and 13th in the world. Paris-Saclay University is a successor of the formerly University of Paris metonymically known as the Sorbonne, which does not exist anymore and has now been divided into 13 universities on the 31st of December 1970. It offers health services in a wide range of specialties, and its dermatology department is the referral expert center in Ile-de-France and Parisian region for advanced dermatological surgeries. It has been created in 1923. It was named in honour of Ambroise Paré.

The Stade Jean-Bouin (French: [stad ʒɑ̃ bwɛ̃]) is a multi-purpose stadium in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France. The 20,000 capacity facility is located across the street from the much larger Parc des Princes, and is used mostly for rugby union and association football matches. It is the home stadium of Stade Français and, until 2019, of Red Star FC. Stade Jean-Bouin is the current venue for the France Sevens leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series, hosted since 2017. It was also the venue for that tournament in 2005 and 2006.
