Bratislava main railway station (Slovak: Bratislava hlavná stanica, abbreviated as Bratislava hl.st.; Hungarian: Pozsony főpályaudvar) is the main railway station of the city of Bratislava, Slovakia. It averages about 60,000 passengers per day.Apart from domestic routes, international routes from this station include trains to Austria, Croatia (summer only), Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, and Switzerland.

Deutsche Schule Bratislava (DSB; Slovak: Nemecká škola Bratislava) is a German international school in Bratislava, Slovakia. It serves Kindergarten (kindergarten), Vorschule (preschool) through Gymnasium.

Bratislava Transport Museum (Múzeum dopravy Bratislava) is a transport museum in Bratislava, Slovakia. It is a branch of the Slovak Technical Museum in Košice, is situated on the site of the first steam-railway station in Bratislava on Šancová Street, near the current main railway station in central Bratislava. It opened on June 24, 1999.

Zochova Street (Slovak: Zochova ulica) is a street in Bratislava's Old Town and Zochova is the name of a major bus stop in Bratislava, located at the point where the street touches Staromestská Street, next to Nový Most in Bratislava, Slovakia. the lower half of the street formed part of the Old Town of medieval Pressburg, with the first written account confirming its existence dating from the 14th century. Zochova Street is located just 5 minutes walking distance from the historical city center and 5 minutes walking distance from the Presidential palace at Hodžovo námestie.

Mlynská dolina (literally: Mill valley; before 1894 German: Mühltal, Hungarian: Malomvölgy) is a neighborhood of Karlova Ves borough of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. It is located in the Bratislava IV district. Geographically and historically it constitutes a much larger area of the entire valley of the river Vydrica, including its upper part located in the Little Carpathians mountains and the area of Patrónka. In the present, Mlynská dolina features two faculties of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics and the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies and university dormitories housing up to 15,000 students, the largest of its kind in Slovakia. The area features the Bratislava Zoo, headquarters of the former Slovak Television housed in one of the tallest buildings in the city, the Botanical Garden of the Comenius University, one of the largest cemeteries in Bratislava, Slávičie údolie and many upscale residential areas. Mlynská dolina is served by the D2 motorway.

The Italian ambassador in Bratislava is the official representative of the Government in Rome to the Government of Slovakia.

Bratislava I (Slovak: okres Bratislava I; Hungarian: Pozsonyi I. járás) is a district in the city of Bratislava. It is identical with its sole borough, Bratislava's Old Town (Slovak: Staré mesto; German: Altstadt; Hungarian: Óváros). With an area of 10 square kilometers, it is the smallest district of Slovakia. It is completely surrounded by other Bratislava districts: Bratislava II, Bratislava III, Bratislava IV and Bratislava V.

Koliba is the name of a locality in Bratislava, Slovakia, which is situated on the foothills of the Little Carpathians. It administratively belongs to the Nové Mesto borough and is part of the Bratislava Forest Park. The Kamzík TV Tower and the Kamzík Hill (Slovak: vrch Kamzík) (439 m) are located at the edge of the locality. It is also home to the Koliba Film Studios (Slovak: Filmové ateliéry Koliba).

University Hospital Bratislava – Academician Ladislav Dérer Hospital (Slovak: Univerzitná nemocnica Bratislava – Nemocnica akademika Ladislava Dérera; until 30 June 2010 Faculty Hospital with Polyclinic Bratislava – Academician Ladislav Dérer Hospital – Slovak: Fakultná nemocnica s poliklinikou Bratislava – Nemocnica akadémika Ladislava Dérera; until 31 December 2004 Academician Ladislav Dérer Faculty Hospital with Polyclinic – Slovak: Fakultná nemocnica s poliklinikou akademika Ladislava Dérera; colloquially Kramáre Hospital – Slovak: Nemocnica na Kramároch, Nemocnica Kramáre or simply Kramáre) is a hospital in the New Town district of Bratislava, local part of Kramáre (Limbová 5). Its old building was built in 1968. It is named after Ladislav Dérer, a Slovak physician and professor (1897–1960). It is part of the University Hospital Bratislava.

The Episcopal Summer Palace (Slovak: Letný arcibiskupský palác, Hungarian: érseki nyári palota) is the former residence of the archbishop of Pozsony. The palace was originally in the 17th century a Renaissance summer seat for the archbishops of Esztergom (since Esztergom had been occupied by the Ottoman Empire in 1543, the archbishops were based in Bratislava). The baroque sculptor Georg Rafael Donner had a studio in the palace garden for almost 10 years. The palace now houses the government of Slovakia.

The Slovak Medical University in Bratislava - SMU (Slovak: Slovenská zdravotnícka univerzita v Bratislave) is a state "college of university type" seated in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was created by law from 25 June 2002 with effect from 1 September 2002 and replaced the Slovak Postgraduate Academy of Medicine (Slovenská postgraduálna akadémia medicíny). The Slovak Medical University in Bratislava (SMU) is an educational institution proudly keeping the tradition of education of healthcare workers in specialized studies and continuous lifelong education in Slovakia. The Slovak Institute for Postgraduate Education of Physicians, established on May 1, 1953, in Trenčín, laid the foundations of education of healthcare professionals in Slovakia. From July 7, 1966, the Institute moved into new premises in Bratislava, under a new name – The Institute of Further Education of Physicians and Pharmacists, which remained until 1991. On July 1, 1991, the name was changed to the Institute for Further Education of Professionals in Healthcare, and later, resulting from requirements in practice, the last change on November 1, 1998, transformed it into the Slovak Postgraduate Academy of Medicine in Bratislava. On September 1, 2002, the Slovak Medical University was founded in Bratislava by Act No. 401/2002 Coll. of the National Council of the Slovak Republic on the establishment of the Slovak Medical University, as a state university of higher education. The Slovak Medical University in Bratislava is the only university in Slovakia that provides monothematic education for healthcare professions in all three degrees of higher education, and at the same time, the only institution that has guaranteed complex education of healthcare workers in Slovakia under various names since 1953.

The Grassalkovich Palace (Slovak: Grasalkovičov palác) is a palace in Bratislava and the residence of the President of Slovakia. It is situated on Hodžovo námestie, near the Summer Archbishop's Palace. The building is a Rococo-late Baroque summer palace with a French garden.
