Gaylord White Houses

The 105th Street station was a local station on the demolished IRT Second Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It had three tracks and two side platforms. The next stop to the north was 111th Street. The next stop to the south was 99th Street. The station closed on June 11, 1940.

Union Settlement is one of the oldest settlement houses in New York City, providing community-based services and programs that support the immigrant and low-income residents of East Harlem since 1895. It is East Harlem’s largest social service agency and serves 10,000 people annually through programs including early childhood education, youth services, senior services, adult education, mental health, small business development and community outreach.

106th Street is a planned station along the IND Second Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. It would be located at the intersection of Second Avenue and 106th Street in East Harlem, Manhattan. Proposed since 1968, the station is expected to be built by 2027–2029 as part of Phase 2 of the Second Avenue Subway. When opened, it will initially be served by the Q train, with the T train providing service when Phase 3 of the line is built.

St. Lucy's Church is a former parish church of the Parish of St. Lucy, which operated under the authority of the Archdiocese of New York in the East Harlem section of the Borough of Manhattan in New York City. The parish address was 344 East 104th Street; the parochial school occupied 336 East 104th Street. The parish merged with St. Ann's Church in 2015, and Masses and other sacraments are no longer offered regularly at this church. The church was deconsecrated on June 30, 2017.

The Metro North Plaza Houses are a public housing project owned by the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). The housing complex is located between 1st and 2nd Avenues and East 101st and 102nd Streets in the Spanish Harlem part of the East Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan in New York. It has three buildings. Building I has 7 floors, Building II has 11 floors, and Building III has 8 floors.

The Church of the Holy Agony was a Roman Catholic parish church in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at 1834 Third Avenue and 101st Street, in the East Harlem section of Manhattan, New York City. The parish was established in 1930 as a mission of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. The parish is staffed by the Vincentian Fathers. In November 2014, the Archdiocese announced that the Church of the Holy Agony was one of 31 neighborhood parishes which would be merged into other parishes. Holy Agony was to be merged into the Church of St. Cecilia at 125 East 105th Street.The church was deconsecrated on June 30, 2017.

The Taller Boricua, in Manhattan, New York is a multidisciplinary cultural space founded in 1969 by Puerto Rican artists to promote the arts and culture of the Puerto Rican community in El Barrio/East Harlem, as well as to offer a platform to underrepresented and marginalized artists.It is located at the Julia de Burgos Latino Cultural Center.Its founders were a group of activists, intellectuals and young artists such as Carlos Osorio, Rafael Tufino, Fernando Salicrup, Marcos Dimas and Nitza Tufiño. This artist-run non profit gallery offer art exhibitions, artist talks, workshops and art classes that take place throughout the year and aim to curb the economic, cultural and social disparities in the area.

99th Street was a local station on the demolished IRT Second Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It had three tracks and two side platforms. The next stop to the north was 105th Street. The next stop to the south was 92nd Street. The station closed on June 11, 1940. Three blocks to the south mass transit service was replaced by the 96th Street station of the Second Avenue Subway.

The 103rd Street station is a local station on the IRT Lexington Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 103rd Street in East Harlem, it is served by the 6 train at all times, the <6> train during weekdays in the peak direction, and the 4 train during late nights. This station was constructed as part of the Dual Contracts by the Interborough Rapid Transit Company and opened in 1918. It was renovated in 1990 and in 2015-2016.

East River Houses are a public housing project that is part of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). The housing complex is located between 102nd to 105th Street and between 1st Avenue and the FDR Drive in the Spanish Harlem portion of the East Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. It contains 10 separate buildings. Building I has 11 floors, Buildings II, III, IV, and V have 10 floors, and Buildings III, IV, VI, VII, VIII, IX, and X have 6 floors.

The Lexington Avenue explosion was the July 4, 1914, explosion of a terrorist bomb in an apartment at 1626 Lexington Avenue in New York City. Members of the Lettish section of the Anarchist Black Cross (ABC) were constructing a bomb in a seven-story tenement when the group's large supply of dynamite exploded prematurely. The blast destroyed most of the top three floors of the building, killing three conspirators and another renter who was not part of the bomb plot, as well as injuring dozens more.

St. Cecilia Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York and a historic landmark located at 120 East 106th Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue, Manhattan, New York City, New York. The parish was established in 1873. It was staffed by the Redemptorist Fathers from 1939 to 2007. The church was designated a New York City landmark in 1976. The church and convent were listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
