CKNT has a News/Talk radio format and is licensed to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, serving Greater Toronto. The radio studios and offices are on Westmore Drive in Etobicoke. By day, CKNT is powered at 1,250 watts. But to avoid interference to other stations on 960 AM, it reduces power to 175 watts at night. It uses a non-directional antenna. The transmitter is on Courtneypark Drive East, near Kennedy Road South in Mississauga.

Upon completion, it was the tallest building in Mississauga for an 18-year period until 2008; a year in which it was overtaken by 2 new buildings and tied by a third.

Square One Bus Terminal is a GO Transit intercity bus terminal located in central Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is situated directly across Rathburn Road West from the Mississauga City Centre Transit Terminal (the main hub for local MiWay bus service and a stop on the Mississauga Transitway) and the Square One Shopping Centre.Routes stopping at the terminal include: off-peak bus service along the Milton GO Train corridor from downtown Toronto; Mississauga to Finch Bus Terminal; Mississauga to Guelph; Hamilton to Richmond Hill; Highway 407 West routes; and routes connecting Waterloo Region to Greater Toronto. Services will also connect to the planned Hurontario LRT on Hurontario Street.

The City Centre Transit Terminal in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada is the main transit hub and bus station for MiWay, the city's public transit system. The station is situated in Mississauga City Centre at the northwest corner of Square One Shopping Centre, and buses using the terminal display "Square One" on their destination signs. Buses use the upper level, while access from the mall is on lower ground via crosswalk (no direct connection), where a taxi stand and kiss and ride are located. Services provided on the upper level of the building include ticket sales, information booth, and lost and found, while washroom facilities and MiWay transit police holding cells is located on the lower level. The terminal is accessible by both elevator and escalator. GO Transit's regional Square One Bus Terminal is located directly north, across Rathburn Road, on Station Gate Road.

Mississauga Centre is a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that was represented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1999 to 2007, and again from 2018 to present. This riding was originally created in 1996 from parts of Mississauga East and Mississauga West ridings. Throughout its brief existence, it was represented by Rob Sampson and Harinder Takhar. It consisted of the central part of the City of Mississauga, Ontario. The electoral district was abolished in 2003 when it was redistributed between Mississauga East—Cooksville, Mississauga South, Mississauga—Brampton South and Mississauga—Erindale ridings. For the 2018 election, it was re-created from Mississauga East—Cooksville, Mississauga—Erindale, Mississauga—Brampton South, and Mississauga—Streetsville.

Central Parkway is a bus rapid transit station on the Mississauga Transitway in central Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is located on the east side of Central Parkway East along the south side of Highway 403. The street suffix "Parkway" was added to the station name so commuters didn't assume it was the central station in the system, which is located one stop west at the City Centre. The first four stations on the Transitway at Central Parkway, Cawthra, Tomken and Dixie, opened on November 17, 2014.

It is the largest shopping centre in Ontario and the second largest shopping centre in Canada, after the West Edmonton Mall. It has over 2,200,000 square feet (200,000 m2) of retail space, with more than 360 stores and services. On average, the mall serves over 24 million customers each year. The shopping centre also has many condominiums near it.Square One is located in downtown Mississauga adjacent to the interchange of Highway 403 and Hurontario Street, near the Mississauga Civic Centre, the Mississauga Living Arts Centre and the Mississauga Central Library. Located within the mall grounds is the main terminal of MiWay (formerly Mississauga Transit) bus network, which opened in 1997, and a Peel Regional Police station, which opened in 2002.
