Toronto Township is a former municipality now mostly part of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, with its northern extremity now a part of Brampton. It is directly west of but not part of the city of Toronto, and its land area makes up the majority of present-day Mississauga.

The Park Mansion is a 36-storey condominium tower in Mississauga, Ontario standing 112 metres (369 feet) tall. The building is located at 45 Kingsbridge Garden Circle. It was built in 1990 (architects: Zippan and Barrett) and has over 350 luxury suites, many with views of the Greater Toronto Area. Upon completion, it was the tallest building in Mississauga for an 18-year period until 2008; a year in which it was overtaken by 2 new buildings and tied by a third.

The Paramount Fine Foods Centre, formerly the Hershey Centre, is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment complex located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Its current name was adopted on July 1, 2018, following a new naming rights agreement with Mississauga-based restaurant chain Paramount Fine Foods.

Britannia landfill, now BraeBen Golf Course, and previously Britannia Hills Golf Course, was a garbage dump located in the city of Mississauga and later transformed into a golf course. The site is located on Terry Fox Way south of Britannia Road West. Opened in 1980 by Peel Region, the 200-acre (0.81 km2) site took garbage from Peel and Metro Toronto. It closed in 2002 and was used to create a 27-hole golf course. The City of Mississauga has a 99-year lease on the facility. Gases from the dump are to be used to generate electricity. Rick Hansen Secondary School (RHSS) is a public high school located in the southeast corner of Streetsville, a community in Mississauga, Ontario. Rick Hansen is home to graduates from Fallingbrook Middle School, Fairwind Senior Public School, and Hazel McCallion Senior Public School. The school opened in 1999, and in 2002, the school expanded with a new wing on the west side of the school, which added 14 classrooms, 2 dance studios, and 2 art rooms. Nearly 2,000 students attend this school. The school is a sister school to Rick Hansen Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Columbia and their mascot's name is stormy

Mississauga ( (listen) MISS-ih-SAW-gə), historically known as Toronto Township, is a city in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is situated on the shores of Lake Ontario in the Regional Municipality of Peel, adjoining the western border of Toronto. With a population of 717,961 as of 2021, Mississauga is the seventh-most populous municipality in Canada, third-most in Ontario, and second-most in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) after Toronto itself. However, for the first time in its history, the city's population declined according to the 2021 census, from a 2016 population of 721,599 to 717,961, a 0.5 percent decrease.The growth of Mississauga was attributed to its proximity to Toronto. During the latter half of the 20th century, the city attracted a multicultural population and built up a thriving central business district. Malton, a neighbourhood of the city located in its northeast end, is home to Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada's busiest airport, as well as the headquarters of many Canadian and multinational corporations. Mississauga is not a traditional city, but is instead an amalgamation of three former villages, two townships, and a number of rural hamlets (a general pattern common to several suburban GTA cities) that were significant population centres, with none being clearly dominant, prior to the city's incorporation that later coalesced into a single urban area.Indigenous people have lived in the area for thousands of years and Mississauga is situated on the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabeg people, including the namesake Mississaugas. Most of present-day Mississauga was founded in 1805 as Toronto Township within York County, and became part of Peel County when new counties were formed by splitting off parts of the original county in 1851. Mississauga itself was established in 1968 as a town, and was reincorporated as a city in 1974, when Peel was restructured into a regional municipality.

This riding is centred on the villages of Streetsville and Meadowvale. Mississauga—Streetsville is one of the most affluent ridings in Ontario, along with Mississauga—Erin Mills and Mississauga—Lakeshore.

Mississauga Centre is a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that was represented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1999 to 2007, and again from 2018 to present. This riding was originally created in 1996 from parts of Mississauga East and Mississauga West ridings. Throughout its brief existence, it was represented by Rob Sampson and Harinder Takhar. It consisted of the central part of the City of Mississauga, Ontario. The electoral district was abolished in 2003 when it was redistributed between Mississauga East—Cooksville, Mississauga South, Mississauga—Brampton South and Mississauga—Erindale ridings. For the 2018 election, it was re-created from Mississauga East—Cooksville, Mississauga—Erindale, Mississauga—Brampton South, and Mississauga—Streetsville.
