Somerville Theatre

Sculpture with a "D" is an abstract sculpture by Sam Gilliam. It is located at Davis (MBTA station), Somerville, Massachusetts. Painted aluminum panels 44 feet long are hung above the platform.

Davis station is an underground Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Red Line rapid transit station located at Davis Square in Somerville, Massachusetts. The accessible station has a single island platform for the Red Line, as well as a dedicated busway on the surface. It opened in 1984 as part of the Red Line Northwest Extension project.

The Davis Square statues, entitled Ten Figures, are life-sized cast concrete public sculpture, created by James Tyler, located in Davis Square, Somerville, Massachusetts at or near the Davis, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority subway station. The statues are mostly based on people who lived near Davis Square in the 1980s. In 1996 bronze "masks" were added to the sculptures to repair damage and deter future vandalism.

Davis Square is a major intersection in the northwestern section of Somerville, Massachusetts where several streets meet: Holland Street, Dover Street, Day Street, Elm Street, Highland Avenue, and College Avenue. The name is often used to refer to the West Somerville neighborhood surrounding the square as well. Davis Square is located approximately four miles from downtown Boston, and two miles from mid-Cambridge. The square is served by the Davis Square Station, one of the stops on the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA)'s Red Line. Davis abuts the Powder House Square, Magoun Square and Spring Hill neighborhoods, as well as Tufts University.Davis Square is today a vibrant commercial, retail, nightlife and dining district. Businesses in Davis range from stores to restaurants to even a martial arts school. Davis fell into decline after World War II. After the Red Line was extended to Davis in the mid-1980s, however, the area began to experience a prolonged renaissance.

The West Somerville Branch Library is a historic library at 40 College Avenue in Somerville, Massachusetts, just outside Davis Square. It is a fine local example of Classical Revival architecture, built in 1909 with funding support from Andrew Carnegie, and was the city's first branch library. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The R. A. Knight–Eugene Lacount House is a historic house in Somerville, Massachusetts. The two story Second Empire house was built c. 1870; its second owner was Eugene Lacount, an American Civil War veteran. The house's mansard roof is pierced by recessed dormers with segmented arch dormers. The cornices of the roof, projecting bay tops, and front porch are all studded with modillions, and the front porch features turned posts with decorative brackets.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The M. Clinton Bacon House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Clifton Bacon House, is a historic house in Somerville, Massachusetts. Built in 1887, it is one of the city's finest examples of high-style Queen Anne Victorian architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Rosebud is a historic diner at 381 Summer Street in Somerville, Massachusetts near Davis Square. The diner was built in 1941 by the Worcester Lunch Car Company for the Nichols and Perivolaris Families. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.In 2013, after 40 years of the family's ownership, Evangelos Nichols sold the Rosebud to Martin Bloom. Bloom, the founder of a chain of Italian restaurants called Vinny Testa's and owner of the Mission Oak Grill, promised to leave the exterior untouched.

The house at 197 Morrison Avenue in Somerville, Massachusetts is the city's finest example of vernacular Gothic Revival architecture. The two story brick building was built c. 1860, and is now set well back from the street behind a later house. Its notable features include bargeboard decoration in the front gable, which also has a Gothic lancet window, and its elaborate front porch decorations. The house is unusual for its position set well back from the street, since it predates the major development that took place on Morrison Avenue in the 1870s.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Philemon Russell House is a historic house in Somerville, Massachusetts. Philemon Robbins Russell was a farmer who owned 50 acres (20 ha) of apple orchards near Russell Street. This land was converted to house lots for development by Captain Gilman Sargent in 1845 creating Orchard Street, Russell Street and Cottage Place. His house, built 1845, is one of the best-preserved side-hall Greek Revival farmhouses in the city. It was moved to the current location from somewhere else. According to the Somerville Journal, page 6, a fire occurred that badly damaged the upper portion of the house. The cause was a mystery and the estimated damage was $2,000. The Boston Daily Globe reported the first took place on On February 26, 1905. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Charles H. Lockhardt House is a historic house in Somerville, Massachusetts, United States. Charles H. Lockhardt, a prosperous undertaker in Somerville, built this 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame Queen Anne style house in c. 1890. Its most prominent feature is its turret, a three-story polygonal projection from the southeast corner of the building, which is capped by a finial-topped roof. The property includes a period carriage house, which features a cupola.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
