Dębniki is one of 18 districts of Kraków, located in the southwest part of the city. The name Dębniki comes from a village of same name that is now a part of the district. According to the Central Statistical Office data, the district's area is 46.19 square kilometres (17.83 square miles) and 59 395 people inhabit Dębniki.

Kraków Fortress 52a, also called "Łapianka" (Jugowice), was a part of the Kraków Fortress between 1896 and 1902 (according to other sources 1897–1898). The fortress was built to enforce defense of the south flank of the fortress, ruling over the part of the road connecting Vienna and Lviv. The fortress has four towers equipped with 8 cm M94 artillery guns. It's one of the 14 similar forts, built during the same time in Kraków, which used to enforce outer defense ring of the city. Near the fort there was an artillery battery used for the long range defense, no longer in use.

According to the Central Statistical Office data, the district's area is 5.42 square kilometres (2.09 square miles) and 14 859 people inhabit Łagiewniki-Borek Fałęcki.

Przegorzały is a town in the Zwierzyniec district of Kraków (Poland), located 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) west of the city centre. Przegorzały is at the edge of the Wolski Woods, east of Bielany and west of the Kościuszko Mound, overlooking the Vistula river. It has several nature reserves and has retained a semi-rural character. Originally a separate village, it was first mentioned in 1162 as the property of the Norbertine Sisters. Przegorzały was incorporated into the city of Kraków by the Nazi occupiers in 1941. During the Nazi occupation of Poland, over a thousand people (largely ethnic Poles accused of involvement in resistance against the Nazis) are believed to have been executed in Przegorzały at the spot known as Glinik. The most famous building in Przegorzały is Przegorzały Castle. What is now known as the "Bastion" was built by the Polish art historian Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz as his own residence in the 1920s, naming it "Belvedere" after the beautiful view. Later, the occupying Nazis confiscated the building and added the larger "Schloss Wartenberg" as a residence for Otto Wächter and Luftwaffe officers. Currently, the buildings house the Institute of European Studies of the Jagiellonian University and a restaurant.

The International School of Kraków (ISK) is a school in Lusina, Lesser Poland Voivodeship in southern Poland, belonging to the Polish Embassy of United States. The ISK was established in 1993 in the heart of Kraków. The school was founded as the American International School of Kraków (AISK) then later changed its name to the International School of Kraków (ISK). In 2006, the school moved to a new campus in Lusina with funding assistance from the United States Embassy in Poland. The school belongs to the Central and Eastern European Schools Association and competes with schools throughout Central and Eastern Europe. It is accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Since 2012, ISK provides the IB Diploma Programme for high school students, and is one of four schools in Kraków to do so. ISK is housed on an enclosed 1.25 hectare campus in the quiet suburb of Lusina, approximately 20 minutes from the city center. There are landscaped areas with park benches, basketball courts and a soccer field. ISK features a spacious library, large multi-purpose hall, covered sports facility, and computer lab; wireless Internet access is available throughout the campus.

Kościuszko Mound (Polish: kopiec Kościuszki) is an artificial mound in Kraków, Poland. It was erected by Cracovians in commemoration of the Polish national leader Tadeusz Kościuszko, and modelled after Kraków's prehistoric mounds of Krak and Wanda. A serpentine path leads to the top, approximately 326 metres (1,070 ft) above sea level, with a panoramic view of the Vistula River and the city.

Chapel of Blessed Bronisława is a neo-Gothic Roman Catholic chapel in Kraków, Poland, erected in 1856–61 within the walls of a military citadel constructed during the Austrian Partition of Poland by the Habsburg monarchy. The chapel was meant as a replacement for the Polish 18th-century church demolished by the Austrians in 1854 during the construction of the stronghold in the Zwierzyniec district. The imperial "Kościuszko" citadel surrounded the ancient burial mound and Polish national monument called Kościuszko Mound. The actual mound was used as an observation point by the army. The new chapel, based on design by Feliks Księżarski, was a result of the determined requests for a replacement made by the Polish Committee for the Construction of the Tadeusz Kościuszko Monument.

Salwator Cemetery (Polish: Cmentarz Salwatorski), is a historic cemetery in the Salwator neighborhood of Kraków located north-west of the city centre. It was consecrated in 1865.
