Tullgränd (Swedish: "Customs Alley") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden, connecting Skeppsbron to Österlånggatan. It forms a parallel street to Packhusgränd and Norra Bankogränd. The alley appears in historical records as Tollhuus grenden in 1626, stora Tullhus gränden in 1693, Store Siötullsgränden in 1704, Stora Tull gr[änd] in 1733, and finally as Tullgränd in 1885. The name is derived from Tullhuset ("the Customs Building") located in the block north of the alley in 1686, and the warehouse built in the 1780s. By the early 18th century, the alley was known as Solgränden ("The Sun Alley") after the tavern Lilla Solen ("The Small Sun") which was located there (see also Packhusgränd and Solgränd.)

Södra/Norra Benickebrinken are two sloping streets in Gamla stan, in the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden, stretching from Österlånggatan up to Svartmangatan.

The Black Friars' Monastery, Svartbrödraklostret, also called the convent of Stockholm, was a Dominican monastery on the island of Stadsholmen (City Island) in central Stockholm, founded by King Magnus IV in 1336 when he donated a plot of land located in the southern part of Stadsholmen to the Black Friars. By order of Gustav Vasa the monastery was demolished in 1547, but some of the vaults are still preserved and can be visited. Today Svartmangatan (Blackman Street), which led down to the monastery, is still reminiscent of the Black Friars' era.

Norra Bankogränd (Swedish: "Northern Bank Alley") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Connecting Skeppsbron to Österlånggatan and Järntorget, it forms a parallel street to Tullgränd and Södra Bankogränd. The alley passes north of Södra Bankohuset, the former building of the Bank of Sweden, constructed by the architect Nicodemus Tessin the Elder (1615–1684) during the period 1666–1682. On various maps it is recorded as Banco-gränden (1729) and Norra Bancogränd (1733).The part of the building facing Skeppsbron was rebuilt later. The covered bridge passing over the alley was added when the northern bank building was built during the 1770s. The bank moved to Helgeandsholmen in 1906.

Södra Bankogränd (Swedish: "Southern Bank Alley") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Connecting Skeppsbron to Österlånggatan and Järntorget, it forms a parallel street to Norra Bankogränd and Norra Dryckesgränd. Historically known as Banco-gränden (1729) and Södra Bancogränd (1733), the historic cobblestones were renovated in 2001. The alley passes south of Södra Bankohuset, the former building of the Bank of Sweden, first constructed by the architect Nicodemus Tessin the Elder (1615–1684) during the period 1666–1682. The part of the building facing Skeppsbron was later rebuilt, and the bank moved to Helgeandsholmen in 1906.

Södra Bankohuset (Swedish: "The Southern [National] Bank Building"[1]) or Gamla Riksbanken ("The Old National Bank") is a building in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden, together with Norra Bankohuset the location of the Bank of Sweden until 1906. Since December 2018, the building is housing Embark Studios, a Stockholm-based games studio.It is facing the square Järntorget on its west side and Skeppsbron on its east, while two alleys passes north and south of it, Norra Bankogränd and Södra Bankogränd. The western quarter of the building including the façade, built in 1675-1682, was designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder (1615–1684); the western court and its two wings were built in 1694-1712 under the son of the latter, Nicodemus Tessin the Younger (1654–1728); while the eastern half and façade were designed by Carl Hårleman (1700–1753) and built during the period 1733-1737.Coherently designed as elongated block-size palace, Södra Bankohuset unites the prestigious line-up along Skeppsbron with the narrow urban conglomeration of the old town. The plain architraves and original Renaissance design of the western façade is repeated around the building, and is in the eastern façade supplemented with pediments, channelled rustication up to the mezzanine, and a rocaille over the entrance pouring out bank notes and coins. The western portal is a quotation of Vignola's portal at Villa Farnese in Caprarola.

Packhusgränd (Swedish: Warehouse Alley) is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching west from Skeppsbron to Österlånggatan, it forms a parallel street to Johannesgränd and Tullgränd. In 1686, the city bought a site on the south side of the alley to accommodate the customs department, and by the end of that century the latter had the warehouse built which gave the alley its name. The alley was formerly known as Urbansgränden (Urbanus grandhen (1606), "The Alley of Urban") after Urban Michelsson who had an estate here in the late-16th century. Its present name first appears as Packhus gr[änd] in 1733.The area was being used as a berth by the 13th century when the waterfront was located much further east than today, and a medieval harbour, known as Koggahamnen ("The Cog Harbour"), and a quay, Koggabron ("The Cog Bridge"), was also found here as excavations have shown. During the 15th and 16th centuries, a section of the city wall along with two of its towers were found just south of the alley. The customs house on Skeppsbron, built in the 1780s, replaced the warehouse mentioned above.The National Property Board Project Unit is located at number 7. Three rooms and a kitchen, 77 m2, in the alley was as of 2007 offered for close to SEK 4 million (~400.000 Euro).

Österlånggatan (Swedish for 'Eastern Long Street') is a street in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching southward from Slottsbacken to Järntorget, it forms a parallel street to Baggensgatan and Skeppsbron. Major sights include the statue of Saint George and the Dragon on Köpmanbrinken and the restaurant Den Gyldene Freden on number 51, established in 1722 and mentioned in Guinness Book of Records as one of the oldest with an unaltered interior.

Norra Dryckesgränd (Swedish: Northern Drunkenness Alley) is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden. Connecting Skeppsbron to Järntorgsgatan it forms a parallel street to Södra Bankogränd and Södra Dryckesgränd.

Johannesgränd (Swedish: "Alley of [Saint] John") is an alley in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden, connecting Skeppsbron to Österlånggatan.

Järntorget (Swedish for 'The Iron Square') is a small public square in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Located in the southernmost corner of the old town, the square connects the thoroughfares Västerlånggatan and Österlånggatan, while the two alleys, Södra Bankogränd and Norra Bankogränd, stretches east to connect the square to Skeppsbron, and two other alleys, Järntorgsgatan and Triewaldsgränd, leads south to Slussplan and Kornhamnstorg respectively. The second oldest square in Stockholm, slightly younger than Stortorget, Järntorget dates back to around 1300 and remained the city's most important trade centre for centuries — constantly busy and crowded, scents and noise intermixing while goods were transported from shore to shore across the square and up and down the attics of the surrounding buildings.

Tyska Stallplan (Swedish: "German Stable Square" or literally "Plane") is a street in Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching south from Svartmangatan to Prästgatan, it is connected to Baggensgatan and Mårten Trotzigs Gränd, while forming a (somewhat) parallel street to Österlånggatan and Tyska Brinken. By the street are the public library and the major school (Storkyrkoskolan, "School of the Great Church" (e.g. Storkyrkan)) of the told town. While named a square, it undoubtedly remains a matter of taste and definition whether this elongated open space should be regarded as a street.
