Sungei Bedok MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit interchange and terminal station on the Downtown Line and Thomson-East Coast Line in Bedok planning area, Singapore. The station is being built east of where Upper East Coast Road becomes Bedok Road, and will serve residents of the Eastwood estate. Nearby facilities include the Bedok Food Centre, Eastwood Centre and the Laguna National Golf & Country Club.The station is named after Sungei Bedok, a small river within its vicinity. Despite its name and location, the station is not contiguous to both Bedok North and Bedok Reservoir stations of the Downtown Line.

Bedok South Secondary School (BDS) is a co-educational government secondary school in Bedok, Singapore. It is one of eight schools to be selected for the Ministry of Education's 'Teach Less, Learn More' programmes.

The East Coast Integrated Depot (Chinese: 东海岸综合车厂; Malay: Depot Bersepadu East Coast), is a future integrated bus and train depot located in Changi that will serve the East West Line, Downtown Line and Thomson-East Coast Line of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) in Singapore. The depot, with an expected completion date of 2025, will be located beside the current site of Changi Depot, which will be demolished. It will be the first MRT depot in Singapore to serve 3 MRT lines and also the third to be integrated with a bus depot in Singapore after the Tuas West Depot on the East West Line and Gali Batu Depot on the Downtown Line. With this design, it is estimated that there will be a saving of 44 hectares of land, equivalent to approximately 60 football fields, considering that Singapore is a land-scarce country. The depot will be able to house approximately 200 trains of varying sizes and lengths and 550 buses within the site.

Bedok South MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson–East Coast Line in Bedok planning area, Singapore.The station will be located next to Temasek Secondary School, at the intersection of Upper East Coast Road and Bedok South Road.

Changi Depot is located in Changi near Koh Sek Lim Road, Singapore. Changi Depot comprises a train yard, which can hold a capacity of 46 trains and has an area of 250,000 square metres (2,690,978 sq ft). The depot is used for both train inspection and deployment of trains to the East West line. The depot was up and running in late 1980s when the East West line was completed. This depot is beside the NEWater Visitor Centre and is near Expo MRT station. The depot is located between Expo station and Tanah Merah station on the East West line and has 2 reception tracks: 2 tracks westbound towards Tanah Merah station. The depot will be replaced by the East Coast Integrated Depot in 2026.

Temasek Secondary School (TMS) is a co-educational government autonomous secondary school in Bedok South, Singapore. Founded in 1980, it offers secondary education leading to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level or Singapore-Cambridge GCE Normal Level examination.

Tanah Merah MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the East West line located in Bedok, Singapore. Other than the main service for the East West line, Tanah Merah station is also the terminus for the Changi Airport branch line, a spur of the East West line. Tanah Merah station is located at the boundaries of Bedok North and Bedok South planning subzones, and is built along New Upper Changi Road between the junctions of Bedok South Avenue 3/Tanah Merah Kechil Road and Tanah Merah Kechil Avenue. Tanah Merah station is one of the only two elevated MRT stations to have more tracks than the conventional two train tracks on other stations (the other one being Ang Mo Kio). The middle track serves the train service of the Changi Airport Branch line, which terminates at Changi Airport. Tanah Merah means 'red earth' in Malay, which is derived from the red lateritic cliffs along the coast that were once visible from the sea (most of which were leveled into the sea for land reclamation works). Since 2017, Tanah Merah station is officially assigned the station code "CG", in addition to the station code "EW4" which the station originally had, to differentiate the operations of the main service and the Changi Airport branch line, albeit that it was not displayed on the signage of the station until 2021. Announced on 25 May 2019, the station will be transferred over to the Thomson–East Coast line by 2040, and the Changi branch of the East West line will cease to operate.

Bedok View Secondary School (BVSS) is a co-educational government secondary school in Bedok, Singapore. It is within walking distance from Tanah Merah MRT station.

The National Sailing Centre (NSC) is located at the south-eastern tip of Singapore along the East Coast Park. It occupies 2.4 hectares of land.

Palelai Buddhist Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Bedok, Singapore. It was founded in 1963 by Phrakhru Prakassa Dhammakhun (known mostly as Luang Phor).

Bayshore MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson-East Coast Line in Bedok, Singapore, along Bayshore Road.The station is located in the vicinity of the Bayshore Park, The Bayshore, and Costa Del Sol condominiums, as well as many other private houses and condominiums around Bayshore and Upper East Coast. The station will serve as the eastern terminus of the Thomson-East Coast Line from 2024 to 2025, where it would then be replaced by Sungei Bedok when stage five of the line opens.
