The Timothy Hoxie House is a historic house in Boston, Massachusetts. This two-story wood-frame house was built in 1854, and is a locally distinctive example of Italianate architecture. It is three bays wide, with each bay a distinct projection from the main block. The central bay is a projecting three-story tower with a hip roof whose cornice is studded with brackets. The right bay has a gable end projection that protrudes even forward of the tower, with a polygonal bay on the first floor and paired round-arch windows on the second. The left bay has a lesser projection, with a shed-roofed porch in front.The house was purchased for restoration in 1975 by brothers Ronald & Randall Finigan. Ronald Finigan and his family lived in the house until its sale in 2002. Finigan is credited for having restored the property and having the home listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Edward H. Haskell Home for Nurses, also known as the New England Baptist Hospital Training School For Nurses, is a historic academic complex in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Its original building, a 1-1/2 to 2+1⁄2-story brick-faced wood-frame building, was designed by Edward Sears Read in the Jacobethan style and built in 1922. This building originally housed a dormitory and classrooms. In 1931 a large wing gave the building an L shape, and another series of additions in 1940 gave the complex its present appearance, surrounding a courtyard atop Parker Hill. The complex was converted into an assisted-living facility in 2002.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Heath Street station (also called Heath Street/VA Medical Center) is a Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Green Line light rail station in Boston, Massachusetts. It is the southwestern terminus of the Green Line E branch. It is located at the intersection of South Huntington Avenue and Heath Street on the border between the Mission Hill and Jamaica Plain neighborhoods.

Mission Hill is a 3⁄4 square mile (2 square km), primarily residential neighborhood of Boston, bordered by Roxbury, Jamaica Plain and Fenway-Kenmore and the town of Brookline. It is home to several hospitals and universities, including Brigham and Women's Hospital and New England Baptist Hospital. Mission Hill is known for its brick row houses and triple decker homes of the late 19th century. The population was estimated at 15,883 in 2011.

Back of the Hill station is a surface stop on the light rail MBTA Green Line E branch, located in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It is named after, and primarily serves, the adjacent Back of the Hill apartment complex, a Section 8 development for elderly and disabled residents. Back of the Hill is located on the street running section of the E branch on South Huntington Avenue. The station has no platforms; passengers wait in bus shelters (shared with route 39 buses) on the sidewalks and cross a traffic lane to reach Green Line trains.

Fenwood Road station is a light rail stop on the MBTA Green Line E branch, located on Huntington Avenue at Fenwood Road in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Fenwood Road is the third-least-used stop on the Green Line (after Back of the Hill and South Street), with 221 daily boardings by a 2011 count.The station is located on a street running segment of the E branch; trains run in mixed traffic rather than a dedicated median. The station has no platforms; riders wait on the sidewalks (shared with bus stops for the route 39 and 66 buses) and cross the street to reach trains. Because of this, the station is not accessible. In 2021, the MBTA indicated plans to modify the Heath Street–Brigham Circle section of the E branch with accessible platforms to replace the existing non-accessible stopping locations.

Kevin W. Fitzgerald Park (formerly Puddingstone Park) is a 5.5-acre (22,000 m2) neighborhood park near Brigham Circle in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It was built as part of the redevelopment of the "ledge site", a former Puddingstone quarry. It is accessible from a stairway from a nearby parking lot, with a winding pathway leading upwards to a view of greater Boston. On November 18, 2006, the park was renamed in honor of Kevin W. Fitzgerald, a state representative for 27 years, a youth advocate, and cofounder of the Center for the Study of Sport in Society at nearby Northeastern University. It borders Brigham Circle below, the traffic intersection and a commercial development by the same name, which includes retail sites for Stop and Shop and Walgreens, Mission Hill Neighborhood Housing Services (which had engaged neighboring institutions, government, and others for funding for the development), and some administrative offices for the Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Brigham Circle is located at the intersection of Tremont Street and Huntington Avenue in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The commercial center of Mission Hill, it forms the southern tip of the Longwood Medical Area.The area is named for the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital (now a wing of the larger Brigham and Women's Hospital), which stands at one side of the circle and is approached through Stoneman Plaza. The intersection was never a true traffic circle like other circles in Boston. Huntington Avenue has had through lanes since at least the early 20th century; a small rotary was present at the junction of Francis Street on the northwest side. Near MBTA stops is a street-level park with metal benches that sites farmers' markets, and entrances to Kevin W. Fitzgerald Park (formerly Puddingstone Park) and other parks are nearby.

The Francis Street–Fenwood Road Historic District encompasses a small but cohesive early 20th-century residential area and streetcar suburb in the Longwood area of Boston, Massachusetts. Bounded by Huntington Avenue, Francis Street, Vining Avenue, Fenwood Road, and St. Albans Road, it includes a collection of two and three-family houses, as well as two apartment houses, a school, and one commercial building, all of which predate the large medical complexes that dominate the Longwood area. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

The station is named for the Riverway parkway which runs on an overpass just to the west. The station is located on a street running segment of the E branch; trains run in mixed traffic rather than a dedicated median. The station has no platforms; riders wait on the sidewalks (shared with bus stops for the route 39 bus) and cross the street to reach trains. Because of this, the station is not accessible. In 2021, the MBTA indicated plans to modify the Heath Street–Brigham Circle section of the E branch with accessible platforms to replace the existing non-accessible stopping locations.Riverway is also the closest surface transfer between the D and E branches of the Green Line; Brookline Village station is about 1,500 feet (460 m) to the west.

Brigham Circle station is a station on the light rail MBTA Green Line "E" branch, located just east of Brigham Circle in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. With raised platforms installed in a 2001-03 renovation, the station is accessible when served by low-floor streetcars. The two side platforms are staggered, with the outbound platform further west. Crosswalks across Huntington Avenue to the station are present at Brigham Circle (to the outbound platform), between the two platforms, and at Wigglesworth Street (to the inbound platform). East of Brigham Circle, the E branch runs in a dedicated reservation in the median of Huntington Avenue; west of the circle is street running in mixed traffic to the terminus at Heath Street. Because of this, service is often terminated at Brigham Circle due to traffic conditions to preserve service frequency on the remainder of the line. At these times, the parallel 39 bus provides all service west of Brigham Circle. A facing point crossover is located just east of the station, allowing terminating trains to cross over to the inbound platform.
