Tychy Grota-Roweckiego railway station

Teacher Training College of Foreign Languages in Tychy (TTC Tychy, Polish: Nauczycielskie Kolegium Języków Obcych w Tychach) is a Polish state college established in 1990. It trains teachers of English and German under the pedagogical guidance of the University of Silesia in Katowice. Education in the college continues for three years and finishes with a diploma dissertation. The graduates are entitled to take the licencjat exam at the University of Silesia. Once the graduates obtain the licencjat degree they are eligible to pursue a two-year Master of Arts degree.

Tychy Aleja Bielska is a railway station of the Szybka Kolej Regionalna located in the Śródmieście district of Tychy, Poland, beneath the viaduct along Bielska Avenue. The station was established in 2012 as part of the expansion of the Szybka Kolej Regionalna network.

The Muzeum Miniaturowej Sztuki Profesjonalnej Henryk Jan Dominiak in Tychy (Polish: Muzeum Miniaturowej Sztuki Profesjonalnej Henryk Jan Dominiak w Tychach) is a modern art museum and cultural institution established in 2013 by Henryk Jan Dominiak, located in the center of Tychy in Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.

Tychy (Polish pronunciation: [ˈtɨxɨ] ; German: Tichau; Silesian: Tychy) is a city in Silesia in southern Poland, approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) south of Katowice. Situated on the southern edge of the Upper Silesian industrial district, the city borders Katowice to the north, Mikołów to the west, Bieruń to the east and Kobiór to the south. The Gostynia river, a tributary of the Vistula, flows through Tychy. Since 1999 Tychy has been located within the Silesian Voivodeship, a province consisting of 71 regional towns and cities. Tychy is also one of the founding cities of the Metropolitan Association of Upper Silesia, a pan-Silesian economic and political union formed with the eventual aim of bringing the most populous Silesian areas under a single administrative body. Tychy is well known for its brewing industry and the Tyskie brand of beer, which dates back to the 17th century. Since 1950, Tychy has grown rapidly, mainly as a result of post-war socialist planning policies enacted to disperse the population of industrial Upper Silesia.

Stadion Miejski w Tychach (English: Municipal Stadium in Tychy) is a football stadium located in Tychy, Poland. It is the home ground of GKS Tychy. The stadium holds 15,300 people.

Śródmieście [ɕrudˈmjɛɕt͡ɕɛ] ('city centre', German: Innenstadt) is a district (dzielnica) of the city of Katowice in southern Poland. It has an area of 3.81 km2 and in 2007 had 35,927 inhabitants.This is the most urbanized part of the city, home of Silesian Parliament, Silesian Museum and Silesian Library along with international companies like ING or CITI Bank. There are several consulates in the city centre. The master plan of Central Katowice was designed by Friedrich Wilhelm Grundman in the second half of the 19th century. Extensive city growth took place during the Industrial Revolution. The centre has the finest examples of Modernism such as International Style and Bauhaus. Central Katowice also contain a significant number of Art Nouveau (Secesja) buildings along with the Communist Era giants such as Spodek or Superjednostka.

Tychy Lodowisko is a terminal railway station of the Szybka Kolej Regionalna in Downtown, Tychy, located under the viaduct along Stefan Wyszyński Street. The Winter Stadium is adjacent to the station. It was established in 2012 as part of the expansion of Szybka Kolej Regionalna.

Paprocany (German: Paprotzan) is a dzielnica (district) of Tychy, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village and a seat of gmina, which was absorbed by Tychy in 1951.

The Tyskie Brewing Museum or Tyskie Browarium is a museum in Tychy in Silesia, Poland. It was established in 2004. The museum is an Anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage. It is an object of cultural heritage in Silesia (259/10), and a Polish national monument (641660). During a 2009 vote the brewery complex was voted as one of the "Seven Architectural Wonders of the Silesian Voivodeship."

Tychy railway station is a railway station in Tychy, Poland. As of 2012, it is served by PKP Intercity (Ekspres and TLK services), Przewozy Regionalne (local and InterRegio services) and Koleje Śląskie. The station was opened in 1868

Cielmice (German: Cielmitz) is a dzielnica (district) of Tychy, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was an independent village but was absorbed by Tychy in 1973.

Expressway S86 (Polish: Droga ekspresowa S86, abbreviated as S86) – built from 1978 to 1986 section of national road 86 with a length of 5.9 kilometres (3.7 mi), connecting Katowice (Roździeńskiego Avenue, Murckowska Street and Bagienna Street junction) with Sosnowiec (Pogoń junction). In Katowice the road is a part of Walentego Roździeńskiego Avenue; in 2010 it was the most, and continuously since 2015 the second most busiest road in Poland, and at the same time a leader among expressways with the highest number of traffic collisions and accidents in 2016.The route has two carriageways with three lanes on each other. Since 1999 it is maintained by General Directorate for National Roads and Highways (Polish: Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad). On September 13, 2015, the government changed the ordinance of the motorways and expressways, officially including the S86 expressway in it, making it the shortest of all expressways in Poland. It is also one of the few expressways that at present time are not connected with the rest of the network of motorways and expressways.
