ADNI is a private Islamic school in Ampang, Selangor,Malaysia. It was established in 1957 and currently has over 100 students and 10 teachers from all around the world. The school prepares students for the international curriculum (IGCSE) as well as the national curriculum (SPM) based on student choice.Adni Islamic School was set up in 1957 to provide an integrated Islamic programme for children from pre-school to secondary level. It is registered with the Malaysian Ministry of Education.

Ampang Jaya, more commonly known as just Ampang, is a town, a mukim and a parliamentary constituency straddling parts of the Hulu Langat District and Gombak District, in eastern Selangor, Malaysia. In 1992, the Melawati campus opened to accommodate the Elementary School and the Ampang campus became the home of the Middle and High School. In March 1995, the High School moved to a new wing of the Ampang campus. ISKL is currently located in a 26-acre site on Ampang Hilir, moving from its previous Ampang campus in 2018. ISKL is a member of IASAS, the Green Schools Alliance, and EARCOS.

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Baru Ampang (SMKBBA) (English: Bandar Baru Ampang High School; Chinese: 安邦新镇国中) is situated in the town of Bandar Baru Ampang, Selangor, Malaysia. The school motto is the Malay phrase: Berilmu dan Beramal. SMKBBA was established on 1 January 2002 with 383 students and 32 teachers. The principal is Tuan Haji Abdul Gaffar bin Kunchi Mohd.

Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur (GKL) (previously known as Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre) is a hospital in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The hospital was funded in 1996, and commenced its operations on 1 August 1996. GKL is a subsidiary of Pantai Medical Centre Sdn Bhd, which is owned by IHH Healthcare, which owns three other Gleneagles hospitals in Malaysia.

The AIA Building hostage crisis took place at the AIA (American Insurance Associates) Building in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 5 August 1975. The Japanese Red Army took more than 50 hostages at the AIA building, which housed several embassies. The hostages included the United States consul and the Swedish chargé d'affaires. The gunmen won the release of five imprisoned terrorists and flew with them to Libya.
