The all-girls high school campus is located in South Kansas City, and the co-educational grade school campus is located in the Hyde Park neighborhood. The two campuses are about 10 miles apart.

Lutheran High School of Kansas City is a parochial Lutheran secondary school in Kansas City, Missouri, that serves 109 students in grades nine through twelve. It is associated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. As of 2020, its executive director is Dr. Cary Stelmachowicz.

Red Bridge is a neighborhood in South Kansas City, Missouri. It is centered on the intersection of Red Bridge Road and Holmes Road, on the south side of I-435. Avila University, Minor Park, and the Mount Moriah Cemetery are all located within the Red Bridge neighborhood.

The Herman J. and Ella B. Voigts House is a historic house in Leawood, Kansas, U.S.. It was built in 1923 for Herman J. Voigts, the president of the First National Bank of Olathe, and his wife Ella Busch. It was designed in the Prairie School architectural style. The couple died in 1970 and 1956 respectively, and their daughter Anna Lois Dubach lived in the inherited house until her death in 1992. It was purchased by Barry Grissom in 1993. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 18, 1995.

Saint Paul School of Theology (SPST) is a United Methodist seminary in Leawood, Kansas, United States. In addition to the Kansas City area campus at Church of the Resurrection, Saint Paul School of Theology at Oklahoma City University has been offering courses since September 2008. The Oklahoma campus works in a collaboration with Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Additionally, the Kansas Campus works in partnership with the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection to serve the Greater Kansas City Metro Area in Leawood, KS. The student body has almost equal numbers of men and women, representing many states and other countries. While most students are United Methodist, several other denominations are represented in the student body each year.

Town Center Plaza is an open-air shopping center in Leawood, Kansas, United States. It is home to a number of upscale stores with few or no other locations in the Kansas City area, including Allen Edmonds, Arhaus, Brooks Brothers, Bonobos, Crate & Barrel, L.L. Bean, Peloton, Purple Mattress, a Restoration Hardware Gallery store, and Sundance. It opened in 1996 with Jacobson's as the main anchor store. After Jacobson's closed in 2002, it was converted to The Jones Store in 2003 and Macy's in 2006. Another original tenant was Galyan's, which became Dick's Sporting Goods in 2004. It and nearby Town Center Crossing (formerly One Nineteen) are owned by Washington Prime Group, formerly WP Glimcher and before that, Glimcher Realty Trust, who bought Town Center Plaza from DDR Corp. for $139 million.

Martin City is a neighborhood of Kansas City located along the Missouri and Kansas border in Jackson County. The neighborhood was at one time its own, unincorporated town before it was annexed by the City of Kansas City, Missouri in 1963. The Martin City neighborhood is generally defined as being east of the Kansas state line, south of Blue Ridge Boulevard in areas west and north of the Blue River. It is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area.

The Trailside Center is a tourist center, museum, and community facility in Kansas City, Missouri. The center is located at the intersection of Holmes Road and East 99th Street. Items on display include exhibits of Civil War items related to the Battle of Westport as well as items related to the Santa Fe, Oregon, and California trails. The center is staffed by volunteers. The center also serves as a meeting place for public forums, discussions, and other events.

Jess & Jim's Steakhouse is a steakhouse restaurant located on 135th Street in Martin City, Missouri. Founded in 1938, Jess & Jim's has been ranked numerous times by national publications as one of the best steakhouses in the United States.

Rockhurst High School is a private, Roman Catholic, Jesuit, all-boys, preparatory school founded in 1910 along with Rockhurst College, in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. It moved away from the College in 1962 to a campus on State Line Road in Kansas City. Rockhurst is accredited by the North Central Education Association and is a member of the North Central Education Association of Independent College Preparatory Schools, the Jesuit Secondary Education Association, and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (and its regional affiliates).
