Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park (Malay: Taman Rama Rama Kuala Lumpur) is a public butterfly zoo in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which is located adjacent to the Lake Gardens and Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. The butterfly park spans over 80,000 sq ft (7,400 m2) of landscaped garden with over 5,000 butterflies, exotic plants, butterfly-host plants and ferns, and is one of the largest houses in the world.

The National Monument is a sculpture that commemorates those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom, principally against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency, which lasted from 1948 until 1960. It is located in the Federal capital, Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian Houses of Parliament is situated near the monument. It is the world's tallest bronze freestanding sculpture grouping. Until 2010, on 31 July on Warriors' Day, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the Prime Minister, and the heads of the Malaysian Armed Forces and the Royal Malaysia Police pay their respects to the fallen heroes by laying garlands at the monument. Warriors' Day is now commemorated on Merdeka Square, after ultra-conservative religious bureaucrats declared the sculpture to be idolatrous.

ASEAN Sculpture Garden is a garden in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, situated adjacent to the National Monument and in the vicinity of the Lake Gardens. It is a landscaped garden with a collection of prize-winning sculptures in wood, marble, iron and bamboo. Exhibits have been crafted by artists from the ASEAN region. The ASEAN Sculpture Garden opened in Fort Canning Park in June 1982 to display the sculptures that were created for the symposium. A total of five sculptures were put up for display in the garden, namely: ‘Unity’, a copper plate abstract piece by Indonesian artist But Muchtar; ‘Taming Sari’, a fibreglass work consisting of a broken kris and sabre by Malaysian sculptor Ariffin Mohamed Ismail; ‘Fredesvinda’, a reinforced concrete structure of an unfinished boat by Filipino sculptor Napoleon V. Abueva;

The Central Bank of Malaysia (BNM; Malay: Bank Negara Malaysia) is the Malaysian central bank. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park (Malay: Taman Burung Kuala Lumpur) is a 20.9-acre (8.5 ha) public aviary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located adjacent to the Lake Gardens within a KL green lung in Bukit Aman, close to the National Mosque and Royal Malaysian Police Museum. The Bird Park houses more than 3,000 birds representing more than 200 species in an enclosed aviary. About 90% are local birds and 10% were imported from countries such as Australia, China, Holland, Indonesia, New Guinea, Tanzania and Thailand. The bird park is part of the 60-hectare (150-acre) Lake Gardens, which were established in 1888. In addition to the 20.9-acre (8.5 ha) bird park, which was created in 1991, the gardens include an artificial lake, the National Monument, the Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park, the Deer Park, Orchid and Hibiscus gardens, and the former Malaysia Parliament House. It is one of the world's largest covered bird parks.

Loke Hall, also known as Rumah Tangsi, is a historical mansion in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Perdana Botanical Gardens, formerly Perdana Lake Gardens, Lake Gardens and Public Gardens, is Kuala Lumpur's first large-scale recreational park. Measuring 91.6 hectares (226 acres), it is located in the heart of the city and established in 1888. The park served as place of refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city during colonial times. It contains large sculpted and manicured gardens and a host of attractions.

The Royal Selangor Club (Malay: Kelab Di-Raja Selangor) is a social club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, founded in 1884 by the British who ruled Malaya. The club is situated next to the Dataran Merdeka, or Independence Square, padang (field), and is accessible from Jalan Raja (King Road). The Club will play host to certain matches from the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup.

The Tun Abdul Razak Memorial is an official residence building of Tun Abdul Razak in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which was originally known as the Sri Taman Building. This building was later turned into a museum to commemorate his services and was inaugurated by Dato' Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad (his title at the time) on 6 May 1982. Tun Abdul Razak had lived in this building since 1962 until he breathed his last in January 1976.

Independence Square (Malay: Dataran Merdeka) is a square located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is situated in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. It was formerly known as the Selangor Club Padang or simply the Padang (meaning "field" in Malay) and was used as the cricket green of the Selangor Club (now the Royal Selangor Club). It was here the Union Flag was lowered and the Malaysian flag hoisted for the first time at midnight (time: 12:00 AM) on 31 August 1957. Since then, the Independence Square has been the usual venue for the annual Independence Day Parade.
