Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park

Kuala Lumpur Bird Park (Malay: Taman Burung Kuala Lumpur) is a 20.9-acre (8.5 ha) public aviary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located adjacent to the Lake Gardens within a KL green lung in Bukit Aman, close to the National Mosque and Royal Malaysian Police Museum. The Bird Park houses more than 3,000 birds representing more than 200 species in an enclosed aviary. About 90% are local birds and 10% were imported from countries such as Australia, China, Holland, Indonesia, New Guinea, Tanzania and Thailand. The bird park is part of the 60-hectare (150-acre) Lake Gardens, which were established in 1888. In addition to the 20.9-acre (8.5 ha) bird park, which was created in 1991, the gardens include an artificial lake, the National Monument, the Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park, the Deer Park, Orchid and Hibiscus gardens, and the former Malaysia Parliament House. It is one of the world's largest covered bird parks.

The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (Malay: Muzium Kesenian Islam Malaysia) is a museum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was officially opened on 12 December 1998. The museum is the largest museum of Islamic arts in South East Asia with more than seven thousands artifacts from the Islamic world.

Kuala Lumpur General Post Office (Malay: Pejabat Pos Besar Kuala Lumpur) is the biggest general post office in Malaysia. Located at Dayabumi Complex, operations began in 1985. It is managed by Pos Malaysia.

The Makam Pahlawan (Malay for Heroes' Mausoleum) is the burial ground of several Malaysian leaders and politicians. It is located near the Malaysian national mosque, Masjid Negara in the national capital, Kuala Lumpur. Construction of the mausoleum began in 1963 under its project of the construction of Masjid Negara and was completed in 1965. The cemetery has an interior and an exterior. Part is covered with a concrete dome in the form of a starburst, each side of which almost touches the ground, and separated by a pond from the outside. In the centre is designed with a decorative symbol of the country, the Emblem of Malaysia (Jata Negara) and carving out new flowers marble from the island of Langkawi. The centre of the domed roof is adorned with gold coloured roses. The Makam Pahlawan area and the Masjid Negara was gazetted in the National Heritage Act 2005 (Act 645), as a National Heritage site by the Heritage Department on 6 July 2007. The plaque installation ceremony was held on 30 April 2009.

The Tun Abdul Razak Memorial is an official residence building of Tun Abdul Razak in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which was originally known as the Sri Taman Building. This building was later turned into a museum to commemorate his services and was inaugurated by Dato' Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad (his title at the time) on 6 May 1982. Tun Abdul Razak had lived in this building since 1962 until he breathed his last in January 1976.

The Royal Malaysia Police Museum (Malay: Muzium Polis Diraja Malaysia) is a museum that showcases the history of the Malaysia police force, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The museum includes exhibits from the history of the Royal Malaysia Police since its origins under British colonial rule until the 1970s. It is open daily, except Monday, from 1000 to 1800 hours, and admission is free.

The National Mosque of Malaysia (Malay: Masjid Negara Malaysia) is a mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It has a capacity for 15,000 people and is situated among 13 acres (53,000 m2) of gardens. Its key features are a 73-metre-high (240 ft) minaret and a 16-pointed star concrete main roof. The umbrella, synonymous with the tropics, is featured conspicuously – the main roof is reminiscent of an open umbrella, the minaret's cap a folded one. The folded plates of the concrete main roof are a creative solution to achieving the larger spans required in the main gathering hall. Reflecting pools and fountains spread throughout the compound. Completed in 1965, the mosque is a bold and modern approach in reinforced concrete, symbolic of the aspirations of a then newly independent nation.

The National History Museum (Malay: Muzium Sejarah Nasional) was the second national museum in Malaysia after the National Museum. It was located opposite Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur. As of November 2007 it is closed and the entire collection has been moved to the National Museum.National History Museum exhibited unique historical development of the homeland of the early days until now. There are almost a thousand gathered a collection based on its importance to the history of the country, and are classified into several categories such as: weapons, manuscripts, maps, money, seals and stone tools.

Independence Square (Malay: Dataran Merdeka) is a square located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is situated in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. It was formerly known as the Selangor Club Padang or simply the Padang (meaning "field" in Malay) and was used as the cricket green of the Selangor Club (now the Royal Selangor Club). It was here the Union Flag was lowered and the Malaysian flag hoisted for the first time at midnight (time: 12:00 AM) on 31 August 1957. Since then, the Independence Square has been the usual venue for the annual Independence Day Parade.

Perdana Botanical Gardens, formerly Perdana Lake Gardens, Lake Gardens and Public Gardens, is Kuala Lumpur's first large-scale recreational park. Measuring 91.6 hectares (226 acres), it is located in the heart of the city and established in 1888. The park served as place of refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city during colonial times. It contains large sculpted and manicured gardens and a host of attractions.
