Ratnovce

Banka (Hungarian: Bánka) is a village and municipality in Piešťany District in the Trnava Region of western Slovakia, near the Váh river.

Kolonádový most (literally The Colonnade Bridge) is a bridge over the Váh river in Piešťany. It connects the town to the Spa Island. The bridge was designed by architect Emil Belluš in 1930–33, in Streamline Moderne, an international style of Art Deco architecture that emerged in the 1930s. The center of the bridge features glass engravings by a well-known artist Martin Benka titled "Detva Songs" and "At Sheepcote". The western entrance of the bridge features an inscription in Classical Latin: "Saluberrimae Pistinienses Thermae" (The healing Piešťany Spa) and the eastern entrance features the spa's motto "Surge et ambula" (Get up and walk). The "Crutch Breaker" statue and the symbol of the spa, stands at the western entrance. The sculpture is the work of the Academic Sculptor Robert Kuhmayer (created in 1934). The bridge was destroyed in 1945 by retreating German army and it was reconstructed in 1956.

Piešťany (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈpɪeʂcani] ; German: Pistyan, Hungarian: Pöstyén, Polish: Pieszczany [pjɛˈʂtʂanɨ], Czech: Píšťany [ˈpiːʃcanɪ]) is a town in Slovakia. It is located in the western part of the country within the Trnava Region and is the seat of its own district. It is the biggest and best known spa town in Slovakia and has around 28,000 inhabitants.

House of Arts (Slovak: Dom Umenia) is cultural and social center situated at Embankment of Ivan Krasko in Piešťany. The House of Arts is a first Slovak theatre building for a special purpose after World War II that was not realized in Bratislava. It was realized in 1974-1979 (in use since 1980) according to project of architect Ferdinand Milučký. As the author said he utilised "inspiring impulses of Slovak historical and folk architecture" and he created work of art that represents unity of exterior and interior.

Sokolovce (Hungarian: Vágszakaly) is a village and municipality in Piešťany District in the Trnava Region of western Slovakia.

Easton Arena (styled EASTON Arena, formerly Patrícia Ice Arena 37 and Zimný Štadión Piešťany) is an arena in Piešťany, Slovakia. It was built in 1986 and is primarily used for ice hockey and is the home arena of ŠHK 37 Piešťany. It also hosted matches for the 2002 IIHF World U18 Championships and is a perennial host of the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament. It has a capacity of 5,000. The arena was the primary host of the 1987 World Junior Hockey Championships, which are most notably remembered for the last game played in the tournament on January 4, 1987. In the contest between Canada and the Soviet Union, a bench-clearing brawl erupted in the second period. As the fighting got worse, the decision was made to cut the lights. The game was ultimately suspended and both teams were disqualified (the Soviets had already been eliminated from medal contention but Canada had already clinched a medal and had a chance at gold). The game was televised live in Canada on the CBC and it became a major news event in that country.

Moravany nad Váhom (Hungarian: Moraván) is a village and municipality in Piešťany District in the Trnava Region of western Slovakia.

The Roman Catholic Church in Piešťany, dedicated to St. Stephen, is in the old town of Piešťany, Slovakia and is a national cultural monument. The first mention of the Roman Catholic parish and church is from the year 1332. The current church was built between 1828 and 1832 in a classic Empire style. The walls and one arch in the choir began to split. The church was also affected by two earthquakes.

Military History Museum Piešťany (Slovak: Vojenské historické múzeum Piešťany, abbreviation VHM Piešťany) is a military museum in Piešťany in western Slovakia. It is located in Piešťany Airport in buildings of former military base. It was opened in 2004. Expositions of the museum are focused on aircraft and vehicles of the Czechoslovak army between years 1945 and 1992. As of 31 December 2019, the Piešťany Museum Department registered 9,272 collection items in the collection fund, which are part of 22 museum collections.Exhibits include several MiG-29s, many MiG-21s, MiG-23s, different Sukhoi aircraft, several T-34, T-55 and T-72 tanks and many others vehicles and aircraft which served in Czechoslovak and Slovak armies.

Svrbice (Hungarian: Szerbőc) is a small village in the Topoľčany District of the Nitra Region in Slovakia, situated approximately 24 km south of Topoľčany. In 2011 it had 209 inhabitants.One of the most important sightseeings is Roman Catholic Church of Virgin Mary built in 1956. The first written reference to the village dates from 1268. Svrbice was part of Šalgovce from 1976 to 1990.

Hubina (Hungarian: Hubafalva) is a village and municipality in Piešťany District in the Trnava Region of western Slovakia.
