Brno-Ořešín

Brno-Jehnice is a district of the city of Brno in the Czech Republic. Originally, it was an independent village called Jehnice. It became a part of Brno in 1971. Its cadastral territory has an area of 4.07 km² and 1,090 people live here as of 2021. The first possible mention of Jehnice dates from 1292, in the following centuries the village belonged mainly to the Lichtenburgs and mainly to the Boskovices. Their property was acquired by the Liechtenstein family at the beginning of the 17th century. A part of the village has been a free manor since the Middle Ages, which was also purchased by the Lichtensteins at the end of the 18th century. In 1801, a small independent estate was created from Jehnice and Mokrá Hora, gradually with different owners. From the middle of the 19th century, Jehnice was an independent municipality, and in 1971 it became part of Brno. At the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, a more extensive suburban development arose here. Due to its forest character, the Jehnice area is used as a tourist and recreational facility for the residents of Brno. On the road to Vranov there is a listed church of God's torment, right in the village there is a bell tower and several other sights.

Brno-Řečkovice a Mokrá Hora is a city district of Brno, Czech Republic, located in the northern part of the city. It is made up of the cadastral territories of Řečkovice and Mokrá Hora. It has a total area of 7.57 km2. The city district was formed on November 24, 1990. Over 15,000 people live there. For the purposes of the senate elections, the territory of the district is included in electoral district number 60 of Brno-City District.

It consists of the municipal part and cadastral territory of Ivanovice (German: Eiwanowitz), originally an independent municipality that was annexed to Brno in 1971. The city district was established on 24 November 1990. Almost 2,000 people live here. For the purposes of the senate elections, Brno-Ivanovice is included in electoral district number 60 of Brno-City District.

Brno-Medlánky is a city district of Brno, Czech Republic, on the northern edge of the city. It consists of the district and cadastral territory of Medlánky (German: Medlan), originally an independent municipality that was annexed to Brno in 1919. Its cadastral area is 3.51 km². The city district was established on November 24, 1990. About 6,000 people live here. The Medlánky Airfield is located in the cadastre of the district, mainly with gliders. Medlánky is also home to the V pústých vineyard track. For the purposes of the senate elections, Brno-Medlánky is included in electoral district number 60 of the Brno-City District.

Semilasso is a cultural centre in the Královo Pole district of Brno, Czech Republic, which takes its name from the former public house U Semilassa, once known as the Morgensternův hostinec, which was renamed about 1836 in tribute to Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau (1785–1871). Semilasso is the nom-de-plume adopted by this a famous German traveller and landscape gardener for his autobiographical travel books.

Městský fotbalový stadion Srbská , currently known as the ADAX Invest Arena for sponsorship purposesis, a multi-purpose stadium in Brno, Czech Republic. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Zbrojovka Brno. The stadium holds 10,200 people and was built in 1926. The club moved into the stadium in 2001, having previously played at Stadion Za Lužánkami.

Sportovní hala Vodova is an indoor sporting arena located in Brno, Czech Republic. The capacity of the arena is 3,000 spectators and hosted some matches from the 2010 FIBA World Championship for Women. It hosts indoor sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, and boxing. An old hall is built next to this hall with a capacity of 1,000.
