American Airlines Flight 1722 was a regularly scheduled flight from New York City's LaGuardia Airport to Charlotte and Seattle, in the United States. On December 12, 2024, the Airbus A321 serving the flight struck a flock of birds shortly after takeoff from LaGuardia. The flight diverted to and safely landed at John F Kennedy Airport minutes later.
